Heart Center of Nevada has been providing the highest quality of comprehensive cardiology service for 40 years. Our cardiologists, medical assistants, and technicians are committed to providing life-saving care to those with heart disease, our nation's No. 1 killer. We offer a wide range of diagnostic, invasive, and non-invasive services for any heart condition including heart catheterization, cardiac stents, pacemakers, defibrillators, and ablations. Our goal is to preserve good health and we do this by treating each patient as an individual and continually improving the technical delivery of care in this increasingly complex field.
Performed to open blocked coronary arteries and restore arterial blood flow to the heart tissue. Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI, formerly known as Angioplasty with stent) allows doctors to open narrowed arteries caused by coronary artery disease without open heart surgery. A long, thin catheter (flexible tube) is inserted into the heart's blood vessels.
An opportunity for patients to talk about their individual cardiac concerns, including current symptoms, personal risks, and lifestyle habits. Cardiovascular consultation is the first step to ensuring better health for your heart. It is usually requested by your primary care physician or another specialist seeking more information from a provider specialized in cardiovascular medicine.

The doctor I had, Dr. Fotedar, was very good. The staff became terrible- incompetent, sloppy. Eg didn't notify me my appt was canceled at least 2x. Lied about not receiving correct referral from Optum Care/SW Medical. I had to switch to a different cardiologist after having Dr Fotedar for 8 years. Very disappointed.

This office really is messed up. Made a appointment for a Echocardiogram 3 months ago and took off work. I received a call to confirm my appointment and I did. Also got a call from billing. My appt was less then 24 hours away so I would take care of the matter in the office. But never had the chance. A women by the name of Melanie plaid G-D. And cancelled my appointment.

No message no notice just the 1 call I received. This is so unprofessional. I changed insurances so it's probably just that. But they wouldn't talk to me. I had to call Goddess Melanie. So I did but after waiting on hold someone came back and stated she's on the phone. I called a couple more times with no response. In the Middle of a Pandemic we should show kindness and patience. Melanie never got the memo.

On time and always ready for you. For your appointment they do not call, text, mail or email you a reminder. I emailed them at info@heartcenterofnv.com to confirm.no reply, emailed again, no reply. I finally called and was told I missed my appointment. I asked if they confirm by any means and was told. NO. Mentioned to the person that I emailed twice two weeks earlier and was abruptly told that was not her department. In the day and age of even basic technology I wind this a bit strange.

The most unhelpful, arrogant, idiotic team works here! Especially this person name Corina! She don't listen to you, all she does is cut you off and then place you back on hold and leave you there! Don't even try to call and speak to anyone. They pass you around from one office to another just to get you off their back. To have a defibrillator placed by their electrophysiologist and then you can't even get an appointment without the run around is absurd!

My doctor ordered a chemical stress test and during the second phase of the test while injecting a unknown chemical my blood pressure dropped to a near death rate level. I was transported to the local ER from this clinic out of precaution and spent seven hours under close supervision while hooked up to every machine known to man, had chest x-ray and CT scan preformed and administered oxygen.

This is not my complaint of the Heart Center of Nevada, my complaint is that not one person, even the cleaning lady from this office called to find out how I was doing. As GOD is my witness this Heart Center does not care about your well-being. I do not recommend appointments here.

If you are a surviving veteran of any America's foreign wars and somehow at this stage of your life the VA health system has REFERRED you to HEART CENTER of Nevada on Shadow lane, brace yourself for an attack upon your dignity. The front desk consistent customer service chaos is seemingly designed to evoke a heart issue. Do not capitulate to this culture.

There are elements in this organization that are truly outstanding. Dr. Mark Taylor and his attendants epitomizes due diligence, Organization be damned. And this company organization SHOULD be damned.

Dr. Cam Choji and his nurse staff are wonderful. They are very professional, knowledgeable and caring. I couldn't ask for a better heart Doctor than him.

There's a lady at the front desk who should be fired, she's an absolute monster. This is for the South Maryland Parkway location. I got lost, and missed my appointment because of a miscommunication and was given the wrong address. Well she thought she put me on hold, but really I could hear everything she was saying. And she was shit talking me to either the other ladies in the office or the doctors.

She called me a liar because I paused when she asked what address I had, I paused cause I was looking for the address in my notes! What the hell? You have the nerve to call a patient a liar, why tf would I even lie about that and then immediately call to get a new appointment, and apologize for missing mine? How does that make sense? Then she hung up on me I'm sure cause she realized she didn't put me on hold.

So I called back and got pissed at her for being rude, and she gave me a snooty apology. Then continued to accuse me of being a liar, and when I asked for a genuine apology she said she already did. And I was like no you gave me a sarcastic bullshit apology, and she was like well I apologized to you so do you want to make an appointment? Obviously no I don't want to make an appointment, how am I supposed to go back there?!?! Who treats people like this? What a horrible place. How am I supposed to trust them with my heart health if I'm facing that much antagonism from the get-go?

When one is a NEW patient of a business and that business really wants / needs you, then it should maybe just go out of its way to welcome you, get you in to see the doctor on time, explain things, and have a decent "bedside" matter. Such a thing didn't happen at this place last week. Checked in 1/2 hour before appointment time, and waited, and waited, a full room of patients went in, another bunch came in to register and disappear behind the door.

I still sat there.when I finally got in, the MA was nice, took my vitals, said my bp was good and low, that everything looked good and the doctor would be right in. Oh Jeez, here shuffles in a guy, maybe no younger than 80, proceeds to ignore the BP taken by the MA and proceeds to grab my arm, start asking and answering questions sarcastically, pumping the bp cuff to 20000 lbs of pressure and then says I have high bp.duh! then he says i will have to undergo this and that, and blah blah blah.sorry, you are fired

I was in and out in 15 minutes. Was seen 30 minutes before my appointment too. Staff was able to answer questions about my insurance. Service was decisive if not a little brisk.

Town Center, Summerlin location. Terrible service rude and very disorganized, on every appt they ask you to fill out all the patient info again, seems like they just don't want to go look for your file, they shouldn't work in a location for people with heart condition, they made my blood pressure go to the roof. Front office very condescending and degrading.

If they have a manager, I beg the manager to please get the employees with a "decent" people skills for the front office and move the others to the back office with NO contact with the patients. Also, they make you come back over and over for stuff that could have been done when you were at the office. DISORGANIZED and total disregard of peoples time. Dr. see's you for 5 minutes and just ask a bunch of tests without even tell you WHY. Horrible place, you guys should be ashamed to offer such a poor customer service!

WARNING, DANGER: I would give negative stars if that was possible. This review is about the Shadow Lane location, particularly regarding Dr. Varjabedian. Please be warned that this may be one of the most dangerous doctor's in Clark County. My mother was a patient of his. He attempted to do a procedure on her that wasn't necessary. We found this out after getting two 2nd opinions from reputable doctors.

He is unprofessional, rude and an outright scammer looking to make extra money by any means. He should be stripped of his license in my opinion. He put her life in jeopardy instead of actually helping her. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!

DANGER! CARDIOLOGIST READ THE WRONG ECHOCARDIOGRAM AND SENT IT TO MY ONCOLOGIST UPON WHICH SHE MADE AN (INADVERTENTLY) COMPROMISING DECISION ABOUT MY TREATMENT BASED ON THAT READING! I was referred to this office through the referral system of the Comprehensive Cancer Centers Of Southern Nevada when it became clear an issue with my heart needed to be addressed.

The offensive unprofessionalism of the office I went to cannot be overstated. I could not get an appointment in a reasonable time frame considering my current state of health and I was talked down to by the front office staff like I was completely stupid. When I finally got to my appointment, the nurse first asked me how I was doing upon which I answered "I could be better".

Her response was "That's good". THEN my cardiologist LIED to me about READING the results of my Echocardiogram (which he admitted to my oncologist at a later date as she was making an effort to keep things moving.) Nevertheless, during my 5 minute visit with him the REAL concerns about my heart and further cancer treatment were NOT ACTUALLY ADDRESSED and he HASTILY and callously dismissed me after he read the results of the WRONG ECHOCARDIOGRAM which COMPROMISED my cancer treatment further!

As a new patient I had only been to one location twice and didn't know there were others. When I went to a follow up appointment at the "wrong" location, I told them I needed them to work with me and fit me in with my cardiologist PROMPTLY since it was a very time sensitive matter and their mistake for such poor communication about their different locations.

They ABSOLUTELY REFUSED, FURTHER compromising the TIME SENSITIVE issue involving complications with my heart and continuing cancer treatment for metastasized breast cancer. When I played back the message I had received the day before confirming my appointment it proved there was NO MENTION of any location which proves they scheduled me without informing me of all location options.

When the girl at the front desk saw the number of the confirmation message she said "oh yeah, well that's the other office." I asked her how I was supposed to know that it was a different office confirming considering a) I'm a new patient, b) no one collaborated with me when making my appointment for the other locations, and c) that my confirmation message contained ZERO location information.

She responded with "because of the telephone number"! WHAT? THE ACTUAL? @#$&? And the cherry on top of all that is that my cardiologist called my oncologist that day to tell her I was a "no-show"!

This review is for the location in Henderson. I have never been so blatantly disrespected in my life. The two women at the front desk should not be interacting with people. There was an apparent misunderstanding with the appointment my 70 year old (deaf and partially blind) mother had, and they looked at us viciously and spoke to us like We were the dumbest people on the planet.

I will never bring my mother there for an appointment, and I have already told my mother's doctor that they should never refer patients there ever again. I am thoroughly disgusted. Never even saw the doctor - doesn't matter. I won't ever see a doctor that is ok having staff that treat patients this way

Three strikes and I'm done with this place! Had to cancel first two appointments because the front office staff didn't provide me with instructions of how to prepare for the tests I was having. Finally, on the third try I get the instructions, talk with two people prior to the appointment to confirm I'd be there, show up on time, have one test done and was told I'd have to go to another office for the second test. Swell, I was dropped off for these tests by my daughter and told her it would be three hours, as per instructions.

At no time was it indicated that I'd have to go to another location - 10-12 miles away - for the second test by any of the five people involved with the scheduling. I declined second test, and I'll talk with my primary about finding another heart center to have the second test done.hopefully one with more professionalism and less ineptitude.

I was at this location yesturday for a nuclear stress test of my heart, I hadto lay on my back on a very thin table with one arm on my leftt arm on my forehead, the xray machine was pressing against my arm making my arm hurt worse than it was already, I told the technician, t had to tell him more than once before he finally let me put my arm down, I thought my are was going to break if e hadn't let me do that, They need to make these test more comfortable for the patients.

As far as all the Doctors at Heart Center of NV.only a couple are not very comunaciatble. meaning they dont talk to the patient. But we love D. James Lalley and Dr. Tsiouris and Donna Person she is the BEST! She is one of the technicians that works with my sons defibrillator. We are very satisfied with those 3. But i have admit the staff at the front really need to grow up. Im not going to mention a incident that happened or rather I should say did not happen with the prior authorization being sat on by young lady for 3 weeks. But we do believe in those 3 i mentioned.

Horrible rude staff, called to update my medical insurance and the woman threw a huge tantrum. Telling me she couldn't do her job because her computers were down. I can understand that your computers don't work but you need to take my information anyway and update it when they get fixed I'm not calling back tomorrow because you have a bad attitude. You're business won't get paid if you hire women with bad attitudes to answer basic phone calls that a monkey could do.

I just have to say that some reviews of this office have been bad but my experience today was EXCELLENT! From the front desk to the check out was far above a lot of experiences I have ever had. I am so blessed to have come to this office. The dr and the nurses were very compassionate and helpful. Thank you so much for accepting me as a pt and taking care of me! Thanks again, Missy

I hardly ever believe it's the doctors that lead to the poor reviews, albeit, it's the office staff. Karina, in prior auths, lacks professionalism, and was extremely rude on the phone.
