Been here twice, February 2018, and September 2020. Different reasons but, have been treated kindly and friendly. Most recently Dr Hansen and his staff and all other nurses in his wing, are amazing and awesome. Paperwork is paperwork and no body likes it, but this staff will help you as much ss they can. They will also keep you informed outside of the office if you have paperwork for insurance and workmans comp situations. Highly recommend this place. Thank you everyone who is there.

Dr. Schlepp performed a total left hip replacement surgery on me first part of September; I sure wish he had replaced my right hip I had replaced several years ago! I was able to go home the same day of my surgery and everything about the surgery was a good experience. I had total mobility within six weeks and life is good again. Highly recommend Helena Orthopaedic Clinic. Thank you Dr. for a brilliant job!

My family has received ongoing care from Helena Ortho. Both my parents have had hip replacements and my Dad had a total knee. My Mom, who has Alzheimer's, is on a pain management program that is specific for her physical health and her continuing loss of memory or comprehension. Everyone at Helena Ortho is professional, caring, kind, and excellent at their job. I've never experienced anything negative with this practice.

I went to the ER and was referred to make an appointment with them within 3 days. Which seems almost impossible due to their broke and out dated process. When I called in to make an appointment I was told that they could not set the appointment till they received the doctor notes from the Hospital. And that they would call me back once they received them.

Its been 2 days and no call back. When I called in they said they were still waiting on the notes. I've never been to a doctor office that makes you jump thru so many hoops just to get an appointment. Why not set the appointment and in the mean time work on getting the notes from the hospital. I've had multiple surgeries and been to see several Orthopedics.

And NEVER heard of a process like this. If your in dyer need of assistance, I would not recommend this place. You will die of old age waiting to get an appointment. If I could give them zero stars I would. On the other hand, I just called another office and was able to set an appointment the next day. When I asked about the doctor notes, they said they would just look online thru the universal system. Why couldn't the Helena Orthopedics do the same thing.

I was referred to Helena Orthopaedic Clinic for therapy on my lumbar discs. Had to provide volumes of information for their records. I asked the check-in person if my health insurance covered the treatments, and if my insurance was "in network" so I was covered. She verified that my health insurance plan ".covered the treatments." and ".was in-network." with my financial responsibility being any remaining deductibles and co-pays.

I dearly wish I had gotten that in writing. They never billed me during the twice-weekly treatments. After they released me, I got a whopping $600 bill a week later for the entire charges, with no insurance. My Aetna plan wasn't in-network. When I called to complain, all I ever got was denials and the threat they would collect the full amount ".one way or another." My advice: get it in writing, up front, or go elsewhere. Follow-up: Six months later they told me my plan was now in-network.

I went to Prompt Care because I have been there in the past. I didn't feel like I received great care. I was basically told there wasn't much they could do for me. When I received my bill I was charges for a new patient set up of $218. I called to ask why I was charged this when I had been there before. I was told it was because the other doctor had left the clinic, a doctor I have never seen. I would recommend waiting for an appointment rather than go here.
