Dr. Faiola has been my medical provider for many years. He was our family provider when he had his practiced in Lewis County, and delivered all three of our sons. Dr. Faiola and his lovely wife were amazing, they put on a Child Birth Class in their home for a few of the new mom's. He was such a great baby doctor! He left that practice, so our family had to establish with another provider.
Several years later we found him again and were so ecstatic to be patients with him again! I was so pleased that my daughter, who was sick, could be squeezed in with me at the same time for my scheduled appointment.

We provide the best of "old Fashioned" personalized care coupled with modern techniques. Our specialty trained practitioners, led by Richard Faiola MD, together with Elizabeth Forman ARNP, and Percy Lynchard ARNP, Debra Hall MSN, ARNP provides care for men, women, and children in our state-of-the-art facility in Olympia, Washington.

Heritage Family Medicine is pleased to announce the availability of Telemedicine to our patients. Telemedicine offers the promise of more convenience for the patient and, in the current pandemic environment, a safer place to otherwise visit and work by moving some of your care off-site. Washington State supports the development of telemedicine and has decreed cost parity (the same reimbursement from insurance as a regular office visit).
HFM exists to serve you, the patient. This goal is best explained in "Our Values". What follows are the "nuts and bolts" of what you need to know quickly to make our service to you practical. If you know you must be seen on an evening HFM is not open or on a weekend, consider one of the many Urgent Care facilities for all but life threatening emergencies.

Dr. Percy and office staff are the most amazing, caring, hands on, and effective health care facility I have ever encountered, and there's been quite a few. Dr. Percy is so relatable, and treats me as a person, not just another patient number. Lisa at the front desk is always fast and professional. I always get in with a breeze, waiting a maximum of 10 mins?
The lady that takes the heart pressure rate & weight upon entry to the back is so kind, and makes me feel comfortable. All the staff members are very well presented both on the outside though their appearance, and on the inside for their genuine care. This practice literally changed my life, and returned it to its natural state of happiness and feelings of being content. Thank you so much, I recommend getting in if possible! They're so good they may have a wait list.

I've been going to HFM for years now. Started with Dr Faiola but I've seen Sam (she was great) and Betsy (very good as well) but Percy is absolutely hands- down the BEST! He saved me from possibly being paralyzed by recognizing my condition immediately. I can honestly say I can tell this man anything and have. I've never had a Dr that I have been so raw and honest with in my life.
He is empathetic, kind and listens to me and my family. I am always able to get ahold of him and he patiently answers my questions. Jamie and Tori in the back are amazing and Lisa is always busy, but pleasant. I would and do recommend HFM to everyone.

Very DON'T recommend. specifically Dr. Lynchard. Simply would not listen to my request for some kind of plan to deal with my crippling pain until I can schedule with a rheumatologist. All he would say is he wouldn't give me pain meds or steroids and had already referred me to a rheumatologist. When I asked, "OK, what I do for next few weeks with crippling pain" he got angry, yelled at me, shoved a referral at me and walked away. I assured him I will not be back at that office.

Dr. Samantha Reese is amazing! I avoided the doctor's office for several years because who likes going to see a Doctor, nobody. Sometimes you can't avoid it, but I was blessed to land on Dr. Sam. She is an attentive listener, extremely reassuring, very knowledgeable, and overall compassionate. I highly recommend her!

I tried getting in to see a new provider since my provider wasn't in. My provider had told me to come back if I didn't feel better after being seen by her, previously. I was told I needed to get a COVID test to be seen by a new provider. I needed to be seen for a sinus infection, not COVID. I was told I could get one done at this office. I got a call back from them and then I was told they don't do the tests because they are not getting the results back in time.
I already had 4 COVID tests done. Two at a different office, two at home, and a flu test were done at this office but they were "too" old for the new provider. These tests were done within two weeks of being told to come back in. Unprofessional. I was able to get in at a different doctor's office and was diagnosed with a sinus infection. This could've been dealt with yesterday but the new provider didn't want to help me.

The only provider here that didn't make us feel awkward was Percy, who showed great patience and knowledge, and addressed the things we'd come to be seen for. Not too keen on Dr. Faiola, however, lecturing us about vaccines for children, especially if you've done years of research and determined that the hazards associated with injecting your children with myriad substances isn't right for you, and have history of vaccine injury in your family.
He literally belittled me and told me that I didn't research. He is gruff and unprofessional, condescending, and is an absolute stranger to the term "bedside manner." Besides the entertainment value of the creepy fearmongerish posters on the walls, this practice has very little to offer if you're hoping for genuine healthcare. Was happy to take my business somewhere more natural minded and accepting of our personal medical freedom.

Dr. Percy is absolutely amazing. I have been seeing him for a couple years now as my primary care provider and I will never switch. He forms a personal yet professional relationship with his patients and is very easy to talk to about medical issues always offering multiple solutions. He is very open minded. I fully recommend him. On top of this they always get me in quickly. I have never had to wait more than a week for an appointment

Best doctors office I've been to. I have always been able to schedule an appointment within the same day to a week of calling. The nurses are always kind and talkative. Samantha Reese, ARNP, is great, very attentive and you can tell she cares about her patients. I am moving and am very sad to have to find a new office. 10/10 would recommend.
