Oral, maxillofacial and periodontal surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. Our practice manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions as well as specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease and in the placement of implants.
Dr. McCabe is a veteran, serving as a general dentist in the United States Air Force from 1989 through 1993. He received National Defense Service Medals for meritorious service during Operations Desert Shield and Storm. In 1992 he was awarded Company grade Officer of the Quarter for the 30th Medical Group Hospital, Vandenberg Air Force Base.

I had an absolutely horrible experience here with Dr. Simonton, who could not have cared less about my life, my quality of life, my pain, and the comfort and care I deserve. I would never recommend seeing him. I've spent time in the hospital because of him. He is a completely careless person and doctor.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Anderson was great! I didn't even feel any pulling when she removed my tooth. I was surprised she was able to take it out so easily since it was half broken off. Dr. McCabe was wonderful as well. I saw him before I saw Dr. Anderson. He was quite concerned about my not taking an antibiotic before the procedure.
He did not feel comfortable taking the tooth out without the recommended medication. I am very pleased with his concern. It made me very comfortable knowing he wasn't willing to take any shortcuts. I recommend this office and Dr. McCabe or Dr. Anderson to anyone who wants a excellent Doctor that truly cares about their patients this is the office to go to.

The entire process at Harbor Light is wonderful! Dr. Simonton has a genuine, reassuring bedside manner which is very helpful for wisdom teeth cases that may often be a young persons first experience with anesthesia. The staff is accommodating and does whatever they can to make scheduling convenient. Even though the contact is brief and often doesn't require any follow up, they get to know you so you know you matter.

If I could give Harbor Light a higher recommendation I would. I had 2 extractions with no pain, took very little time, and was treated with total professionalism. From Dr. Kyle Thorsrud, to his assistant Kelley and the entire staff. they were courteous and very friendly. I would rather go through that again than having my teeth cleaned!

I was very happy with Harbor Light and Dr. Seals and her staff. I was well informed of everything with my tooth extraction and bone graft. I experienced little to no pain afterwards and healed nicely. The office staff is very well organized and informed my driver of everything I needed after the extraction. I would l recommend this practice to anyone.

The actual dental staff are nice and good enough at their job, but God forbid they bill you incorrectly because you're almost guaranteed to not get your money back (and after looking at other reviews, it seems like they rarely bill correctly). I was overcharged by more than double the cost for my wisdom tooth removal in May; and they not only tried to bill me a second time, which took til July for them to resolve, they still as of October haven't refunded me after multiple calls.
