When times are hard, it's important to move forward and do what you can for others. Above all, open yourself up to listen and try to better understand the situation from your friend or loved one's perspective. June is the first official month of summer, which makes it the perfect opportunity to celebrate the great outdoors! Memorial Day is an incredibly special time in America's history.

This weekend, do more than barbecue. Take time to truly commemorate the meaning of the holiday and celebrate the servicemen and women who have given everything to this country.

Services
Unity Medical Center and its predecessors, Grafton Deaconess Hospital, St Joseph's Hospital and Grafton Family Clinic have been a vital part of the Grafton community for more than 120 years. We were founded to serve a growing segment of our community in need of accessible services. Today, Unity Medical Center is an incorporated, community-owned and operated health care facility.
As Chief Executive Officer of Unity Medical Center (UMC), Grafton Family Clinic and Park River Family Clinic, it is my pleasure to welcome you on behalf of the healthcare professionals who work together to provide essential health care services to northeast North Dakota, northwest Minnesota and southern Manitoba.
Here at Unity Medical Center we want our patients to have access to the information they need to make the best care decisions for themselves and their families. We are committed to improving our patients' access to information on the price of their care, and, specifically, on what the patient will pay out-of-pocket.
When you get emergency care or get treated by an out-of-network provider at an in-network hospital or ambulatory surgical center, you are protected from surprise billing or balance billing. When you see a doctor or other health care provider, you may owe certain out-of-pocket costs, such as a copayment, coinsurance, and/or a deductible.

This Area and hospital is a diamond in such a remote area. The medical staff is excellent. They listen to you and they actually care. The drs and nurses read your chart and listen to your needs. The cafeteria could use some upgrading. The day we were there there wasnt any hot food. So it was like snack time. They let me sleep in room with my husband without any problems.

It is handicapped parking and handicapped accessible. I would highly recommend if you are in the Grafton ND area, don't hesitate to place your trust in the staff and hospital. Thank you unity Hospital for everything!

The staff was very polite upon entering the facilities. The wait wasn't long, the Dr. I had to see was awesome. Everything was a great experience for me since I live out of town during this great pandemic.

I want to compliment the excellent care I received at both Unity Hospital and the Grafton Family clinic. I was seen first at the walk in clinic. I believe that I got the care iIneeded with good home care instructions for a painful ear ache. I ended up returning to the Unity ER 2 days later because of such pain in the ear. The Dr. on call did all the right testing I felt and even consulted with an ENT Dr. in GF.

He offered me a short time pain medication until the swelling in the ear and pressure should have eased up. He told me to follow up early next week with Dr. Visceto my Primary. Early the following day Dr. Visceto's nurse Molly was right on it. She called me at home to see how I was. That is quality of care and made me feel that my health care team was really interested in me and my well being.

How Awesome. She scheduled me to be rechecked on 2 days with Dr. Visceto. When I arrived Dr. Visceto quickly realized I was in trouble and the ear was not improving. I was in a great deal of pain. He immediately arranged for me to be seen that day at Altru ENT department. 3 hours later I was there and received great care again. I am a Type 1 diabetic so this excellent level of care helped me further avoid complications with my diabetes. I am so very grateful. I want to thank everyone involved. Robin Suda

They take time out to talk to you and work with you to help find out what is wrong and the nurses and doctors go out of the way to make sure that you feel better
