Got set up with the required insurance, only to then have to wait 7 weeks and endure two reschedules by provider/office. Regretting this decision for my loved one's care.

Nursing staff seem nice, but office management is a nightmare to work with. The nurses will offer something, then Morgan nursing manager in the office calls to inform us they no longer provide those options. This has happened several times while my sister and I are trying to care for our parents - support such as bathing care was promised, then denied by the office. The same thing happened with some medications and bandages; bandages were ordered, then the office manager nixed the order. NOT A GOOD SERVICE

I am a nurse case manager in Portland and I have worked with Housecall Providers Hospice quite a bit. They make the home hospice referral process easy and smooth, and they provide wonderful care to my patients and their families. They can often admit a patient to home hospice the same day I make a referral, which is essential when a patient is close to end of life. I trust them with my most medically-complex patients, as they are compassionate, caring, respectful, and incredibly knowledgeable.

The care team and staff at HCP is professional, consistent, and easy to work with! In my experience they move quickly to serve their clients in a respectful, loving & professional way. I would highly recommend House Call Providers!

If I could give this company no stars I would. They completely failed my grandmother in her final days, they did things without consent. Poor communication, and flat out didn't help us at all. I'm so disappointed and heartbroken that we chose such a poor care team to provide end of life care for my grandma. Don't let these people take care of your family. They don't care.

Housecall Providers gave exceptional service to my mom, who was terminally ill, and to our family. They were always available, even late at night, when my mom was sick. They were very understanding, even when there was chaos in her home and when she was being stubborn. They also were amazing advocates for my aunt and me, since we were acting as her caregivers.

I really have nothing but good things to say about them. I especially want to thank Matthew, Nancy, and Chris for being so kind. Nothing makes the passing of a loved one easy, but their kindness made it less painful.

Joanne Potts is as good as it gets! She is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and proactive. She sees my 95 year old mother at an assisted living facility. X-rays, echocardiogram, blood draws have all been done at my mom's assisted living facility in a very timely manner. I can't say enough to tell everyone how wonderful she and HouseCall Providers are. I am able to communicate by phone and by a new online portal they offer. HouseCall Providers and especially Joanne Potts provide a wonderful service!

A copy of the letter I sent the office: Honestly, how does one even thank you people enough? Who knew this journey would be so long? We went through chaplains and nurses like potato chips. It was SO perfect that you offered home care AND hospice. That flexibility proved to be stupendously helpful, and the easy transition back and forth as necessary was invaluable.

But really, there are so many of you to thank and I'm going to forget names, forgive me. THANK YOU to Natalya, Lara and Nancy, Kelly, Sarah, Denise, Nancy, Joan and Nicole, Kirk then Steve, Ruth, Tenku, Jill, Dean and Scott, Cari, Dee Dee and Tatyana, Todd, Judy, the others who filled in, the many people behind the scenes. it's like roll call for Angel University.

We liked hospice so much that my mom did it twice! Part of living is dying, and part of life is understanding loss. This has been a privilege and an education and you have all been so very instrumental in my being able to function through almost 5 years of this (now somebody get me some Botox and hair dye!) Thank you so much for handling such a draining and difficult job with professionalism, grace and humor, making it easier for the patients and families to deal with such a complex and confusing part of the life experience.

You are all the most wonderful people, and I wish you renewal so that you are all re-energized and capable of helping more people the way you helped us. What a bunch of good eggs you are. I owe you all my sanity - presuming I ever had any. You are the Amazon of hospice and home care. Much older, a little wiser, a bit grayer and forever grateful, Nicholas Lapp

We switched to Housecall Providers after being with a much larger provider. Not that the other was bad in anyway but these folks offered more personal attention. At the end of my husbands life they were true heroes. Specifically, the level of continuity was very good. I am grateful.

Couldn't ask for any better care for our residents at The Grove and The Gardens than what Housecall providers offers with their Nurse practitioners and care coordinators. Excellent medical care.

Three residents of my adult care home are patients of Housecall Providers. Over the last 2 years, we have had excellent response time to concerns both during and after office hours. Our provider, Alex, really listens to the resident and their family about their goals to create the treatment plan. The fact that residents with dementia or transportation challenges do not need to leave the home allows the provider to see them as they truly are in their environment. Communication is clear and concise and received in writing the same day.

Housecall Providers Hospice cared for our mother from June until her passing in October. Their good attention enhanced her quality of life, and gave us the support we needed to make it through. All the nurses, caregivers, and chaplains were excellent. We felt so supported. A hearty recommendation from my sisters and myself.

These people are amazing! I am so, so thankful for all they did for my mother, her caregivers, and me. They were always extremely considerate, respectful, and timely in the face of her care, which sometimes included extreme and ridiculous demands, and even a punch. Their willingness to sign a contract with a nursing home they hadn't worked with before to accommodate my mother's needs at the end is something I am unspeakably grateful for. Not only that, they volunteered to do it, without being asked. They are fantastic at doing an incredibly difficult job with exceptional grace.

Housecall Providers is the best! Alex is incredible to work with and he really loves what he does. He is thoughtful, caring, and so great with his patient's. I am so thankful to be able to work hand in hand with such an amazing healthcare team. Thank you for all that you do!

Well organized team. As a care manager, this is the absolute best hospice I've ever worked with. They were quick to respond to the needs of our patient(s) and easy to communicate with. Frequent visits and compassionate, remarkable nurses and CNA's.

First off, some of the greatest nurses, social workers, chaplains, etc. Problem, management always screwing things up. Couldn't keep up with all the changes in nurses. No continuity of care. :-( Our lady we care for on hospice has Parkinson's disease but no one caught it. Kind of a mark down for the providers there. After firing them, the doc from Providence came in and diagnosed her with Parkinson's in less than 3 minutes.

The poor thing had a bladder full (475 ml) of sediment goop that looked like a cafe latte for God knows how long. Lots of throwing up and diarrhea, losing weight rapidly, could not eat or drink. We were using a dental syringe to give small amounts of liquids just to keep her alive. Just days later she is eating solid foods, drinking, talking (!) She is on drugs for the actual condition (Sinemet). Housecall Providers got a new nursing supervisor who came in and started pissing everyone off from the get go.

Staff just rolled their eyes talking about him. He started cutting back on supplies that hospice gets reimbursed for by Medicare. Then, while on a visit to our home, a nurse we only saw once passed on to him there were weapons in the home and the patient was in possible danger. I was putting a new scope on my rifle. No mention to me, just decided to make some trouble.

She tells this Richard guy, the new supervisor, and he makes no effort to contact me either. I'm a registered nurse for over 20 years! So, anyway, he calls the daughter of the patient and tells her she can move her mother out of this dangerous situation right away! She knows us well and said no way. Hehe. So he calls Adult services to get them all whooped up and they basically got a good laugh also.

We live on a large spread in Cornelius, OR where everyone has rifles around. Of course, they declined to come out to investigate. When we couldn't get supplies on time and they were being cut back anyway I just said let's dump them and get a real service (Providence). I wonder why Providence is getting so many patients transferring from Housecall Providers hospice? I wonder why Housecall Providers has a low census? Hmmm. They should look at a clean up of management before they go under.
