In Touch Physical Therapy owns the only AlterG in Southern Minnesota open to the public. The AlterG is an Anti-Gravity Treadmill developed by NASA researchers in the 1990's. It creates this unloading, weighted effect so you can return to walking or running faster post-surgery or post-major injury. It works by using load cells on the bottom of the machine that measure a person's weight and then creates a vacuum like effect that lifts the individual up and unloads the pressure they'd otherwise be putting on their body.
In Touch Physical Therapy is a proud clinic of the Complete Concussion Management Inc. (CCMI) Partnership Program - a network of clinics around the world offering evidence-based concussion care. From initial pre-season baseline testing to concussion treatment and rehabilitation, as partnered CCMI practitioners, we collaborate with primary care physicians to co-manage concussions, helping patients and athletes safely return to learn, work and play.A concussion is a brain injury caused by acceleration or deceleration of the brain within the skull following a significant impact to the head or elsewhere on the body.
What is the ASTYM process? The ASTYM treatment directly addresses unhealthy soft tissue through an innovative treatment process. A certified clinician, following a specific protocol, non-invasively locates and treats the dysfunctional tissue using specifically designed, patented instruments. This approach induces the patient's body to respond by initiating the healing cascade.

I found this place when I really needed help with persistent concussion/mild TBI symptoms. They have gone above and beyond to assist me and give me the help I have needed. The admin staff are always so welcoming and friendly; the therapist I work with is has been incredible, he has been so steady and consistent and more then not, has given me the encouragement I need to keep going when I've felt like giving up. I would highly recommend In Touch Physical Therapy!

I was helped with pain in my lower back many years ago by Anne so when I was having really bad pain in my upper back that I knew I would go back to InTouch. Brittany helped me so much. I had already tried so much before coming in, including 2 trials for a stimulation device in which they put a wire up my spine and that was not effective. I had many different shots at Mayo in Rochester and that didn't work either.

One of the nurses at Mayo mentioned dry needling to me while they were giving a shot one day. It wasn't until Brittany did dry needling on me that I had any relief from the pain! My muscles were so tight and I was in such pain that it made it hard to do anything besides use ice and doing meditation to help myself. After having dry needling treatments and her doing other manipulations I was able to do the exercises she showed me to get my life back! Thank you! Thank you, Brittany! Jan Anhorn Finne

In Touch Physical Therapy is an amazing place. I am an active cancer patient who needed to regain range of motion and relief from pain so that I'd be prepared for radiation therapy. In Touch exceeded my expectations! I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs physical therapy!
