The surgeons at RHSI bring state-of-the-art diagnosis, treatment and care for upper extremity disorders. Specially trained and board certified physicians and their support staff use procedures to diagnose, manage and correct conditions which can literally run from the fingertips to the shoulder. Treatment of the hand, wrist, shoulder and elbow is a highly specialized field that deals with a broad set of conditions and symptoms. Many problems encountered in the upper extremity are amenable to non-operative treatments such as medications, injections, splinting, and therapy.
At Reconstructive Hand to Shoulder of Indiana, we provide a full range of occupational therapy specializing in upper extremity rehabilitation. The upper extremity is a very complex part of the body which requires a thorough knowledge of anatomy and specific intervention techniques. Services here are provided by registered occupational therapists, some of whom are certified hand therapists.

Refused to do a follow-up, because I took too long to pay for the previous payment. I paid in full within about 4 months. She said we won't see your son again because you went to collections. I said it did not go to collections, I have the receipt proving I paid you in full. She said, yeah when you sent that to us, we sent it to the collections people. I was never told it went to collections. She said still it's a lifetime thing. We can never see your son again.

I appreciate Dr Pannazio's concern about further surgery on my right elbow. He said the deterioration was not far enough to outweigh the restrictions that surgery would put on my activity level. I feel like he has the my best whole body interest in mind.

I have been a patient there for over 15 years and have referred several family members and friends who were all just as pleased with their care. They have treated both of my daughters, , my fiance, and my father-in-law. Everyone at RHSI treats us with professionalism and kindness. Our questions are always answered timely, our outcomes have all been outstanding, and we love the care there. Dr. Dellacqua and Johnna are like family! We won't go anywhere else!

Everyone was super nice and helpful. From the day of surgery to doing therapy, everyone was so supportive, positive, and had great energy. It was a great experience and my recovery was that much better because of the people there.

Much appreciation to have found Dr Alex Meyers. He worked very hard to find a way to treat my "mystery" hand problem. He wasn't quick to recommend surgery. Turns out he was correct and I really didn't need that frayed tendon. (I still owe him a picture of me on a camel in Egypt - holding on for dear life - with my now happy hand)

12 y.o. Elliott saw Dr. Pannunzio because he broke his hand. Elliott says, "He was the best! I love that guy. He was funny and kind and really nice. He's an excellent doctor!"

I have needed the services of two excellent physicians at RHSI. Dr. Sebastian Peers performed Rotator Cuff surgery on my right shoulder. I am fully recovered with no physical limitations. Dr. Peers was patient with my questions and accurate with respect to my recover timetable. Pre-op and post-op were efficient and professional. Rehab services at RHSI were timely, professional, and effective. Additionally, I have sought the services of Dr. Mike Pannunzio for persistent arthritis and tendonitis in my elbow.

He has been informative and patient with my questions and has respected my desire to avoid surgery if possible. To date Dr. Pannunzio has helped me avoid surgery and stay physically active. When and if surgery is required I will most certainly choose Dr. Pannunzio and RHSI rehabilitation staff.

I severely injured my thumb in a car door and I was able to get in the next day! From Kurt Kramer who called in my need, to Kat who was my nurse, and Dr Peers who did my consultation, the office Truly had my best interests in mind. I got set up for surgery this afternoon to have the needed work done. I'm sending this out before surgery because I'm that confident that Dr Peers will provide the same level of care and caring as he did this morning! The first person I saw at the surgery center this afternoon was Courtney who got me checked in and made paperwork painless. Thank you Team RHSI for a wonderful experience!
