Welcome to IDSGA (Infectious Disease Services of Georgia), a medical services corporation created to provide state of the art medical care in a community setting. Our physicians are Board Certified in Internal Medicine and the subspecialty of Infectious Disease. The services provided include consultation and treatment, and when required intravenous antibiotics and immune globulin replacement. Additional specialty services include travel immunizations and wound management. Our current influenza vaccine is produced based on technology that goes back to the 1950's.
Services
We provide consultation and treatment, and, when required, intravenous antibiotics and immune globulin replacement. Additional specialty services include an Office Infusion Center and Wound Management. Many infections can be treated by your primary care physician. Your doctor may refer you to an infectious disease specialist if you have an infection that is problematic or difficult to diagnose. In some cases the infection may be accompanied by a high fever or may fail to respond to treatment.
IDSGA provides ambulatory infusion services in the comfort and privacy of the physician's office. We have dedicated on-site staff providing infusion services 7 days a week. The Infusion Center offers curtained modules that are equipped with comfortable reclining lounge chairs. Cable television and WiFi access is available.

Weren't able to help me and that's fine I understand if something is out of their wheelhouse but if I am paying for a doctor visit I expect the doctor to be prepared. I was told the doctor had "reviewed my info" yet each time sat on his phone or tablet scrolling away. He literally texted someone else mid appointment (an appointment that I am paying money for mind you) They literally made me come in to tell me my tests were negative. Instead of a phone call and saying we can't help you it was come in and here's your copay. So if you want to be charged for pointless Doctor visits this is the place to go

The support staff/nurses act like the patient is an inconvenience. Their attitudes create an atmosphere of a public free health clinic.

They made me wait 45 minutes for an appointment, and then proceeded to tell me I should not have even come because "I didn't start my medicine yet". No one ever told me I had medicine to start. A nurse then put the blame on me, saying I should have called back to ask about my tests.which I did. They owed me a call back and tried to act like it was my fault for wasting my own morning. I picked up the medicine after that awful experience and it was $140 lol. These people are not professional.

Outstanding physician and outstanding human being. While at wellstar north fulton hospital, Dr Castro took care of me diligently and methodically for a period of 2 months. While at the hospital, Dr Castro would check on me almost on a daily basis. Under his care and attention I overcame a health condition which could've been disastrous for me. Many thanks Dr Castro!

Dr. Manuel Castro-Borobio, MD is an outstanding Immunologist and were it not for his diagnostic diligence and ability to narrow down a complex set of issues into the perfect treatment plan I would not be here to write this review.

Dr Dailey saved my life on more than one occasion. When he retired, I was devastated. What was more devastating was the loss of my insurance and job. But Dr. Castro's office stepped up and helped me get my medications from the pharmaceutical companies. In a day where healthcare has become so much about $$$, its good to have some offices on your side.

Dr. Dickensheets is very knowledgeable, professional and caring physician. His expertise in this field is highly commendable. My case was very complicated, however, he was able to cure the hip prosthetic infection with his well-thought treatment plan. He visited me daily at the hospital during the surgery recovery period and followed up very closely throughout the treatment.

During the appointments, he spends enough time and clarifies all the questions. His team, staff, and nurses are highly knowledgeable, courteous and very friendly. Couldn't be grateful enough to Dr. Dickensheets and his team for helping me with the treatment successfully.

The doctor is very friendly and thorough and the nurses are very helpful and polite. The new patient paperwork didn't take long at all and I was seen almost immediately after filling out the forms. The facility is kept very neat, clean, and tidy.
