Waiting time was extremely long, came in for a broken wrist and waited from 6:00 - 8:45 to even get checked in. At least they gave me a proper diagnosis and a cast. they do care for you here. Update: they have a stupid rule that if you are 15 minutes late you have to get your appointment rescheduled. Which is why I'm giving 2 stars.

Dr Mckinney is great. All staff in surgery were very friendly and respectful. Was quite satisfied with that area of hospital

The care and caring is top of the line. The consistant attention to the patient and family's needs are exceptional. We have an extremely serious situation and I can't imagine getting any better care or professionals working with us.

I'd like to give a shout out to Lisa and Amy in the outpatient IV therapy unit. My handicapped son was there for an IV infusion and he was treated with compassion and respect. They were very caring and explained the whole procedure to him. While very busy, they still took the time to make sure we were both comfortable. Thank you ladies for a very positive experience! (And to Ashlee for helping to coordinate it all)

Called the emergency department, tried to explain my son (11) needed help and we already waited two hours at another location for help, and asked how long it would be for them to see him. The lady on the phone was very nasty, and unhelpful. She said you will wait the same time here. Stop with all the COVID this and covid that, and remember that there are people with other health issues.

A child only knows they hurt and needs help and can't find any with this hospital. I really wished he didn't hear you on the phone, because now he knows you and your hospital don't care.

I've never had a bad experience here until 3 weeks ago. I went in for abdominal pain, back pain, sick running to the bathroom. Waited 3 hours in the waiting room, sick in their bathroom 8 times in the 3 hours we were there. Got called back finally for them to say they were going to run blood work. They told me if it was my gallbladder or anything that they couldn't do anything in the er.

Blood work came back and they told me it was fine. Gave me a cocktail for stomach and sent me on my way. I got the results to my blood work and my liver functions were way down and it turns out that I needed my gallbladder taken out. I'm now recovering from gallbladder surgery. If you have an er but don't do anything there then why call it an er department

If I could rate 0 stars best believe I would! Took my 1 year old in there last night after shutting his big toe in the car door. It was bleeding bad and he was screaming. The 2 girls at the desk who where talking and laughing before we walked in pretty much told us they couldn't see him because they where so busy. They weren't going to even put him in the system to wait and be seen.

Just said they couldn't see him. My fiance stormed out and I went back in, confused as to how a hospital could say they couldn't see someone in need. They told us they could see him but it's a long wait. They then took his information and said they would have a nurse come out and look at it and asked if my number on file was correct. I told them it was.

They told me to take the baby outside and they would call me to meet a nurse in the entrance where the vending machines are when the nurse was ready. We waited 10 mins and I never got a call. So we went to another hospital. It's the next morning and THEY NEVER called me. I'm pretty sure they just told me that to get me out of the hospital with the baby as they acted like him crying was such a disturbance to everyone in there. They didn't even offer us a rag for his toe which was bleeding so bad it was dripping blood! Never ever will I go back to that hospital!

What the heck does it take to find a good doctor today! For the last 30+ YEARS from Cincinnati to Columbus NONE encourage healthy life style just prescribe pills upon pills with horrific side effects and what ails you never cured nothing changed. A Dr at HCH told me the system is broken! Only thing I've heard that makes ANY sense.

I came here a few months ago for severe pain in my abdomen and I found out I actually had appendicitis. I was laying down on the medical bed waiting for the surgery team to call me down to the room. after 10 or so minutes of waiting, this nurse or doctor came in and started rushing me to get in the Wheelchair causing me some pain, to go down to the surgery room.

I had no idea what his problem is but I had horrible pain in my abdomen Every time I moved, and he didn't give the slightest care. Thanks for fixing me up, but I'm never coming back here. You "people" are sick.
