Dr Kasten is condescending and arrogant. I would never recommend him and I will not be returning. During my appointment I had mentioned another local doctor I had been treated by and he was completely unprofessional and judgmental. He actually stooped to name calling. I'm absolutely disgusted.

Dr. Kasten is great at what he does and if it weren't for him, we wouldn't have our daughter today! Thank you Dr. Kasten for being so compassionate, understanding and aware of all my needs & baby's needs during my pregnancy. Sad I moved and no longer get to have you!

Im 35 weeks pregnant and they are getting the 2 stars strictly for the nurses they are kind and willing to listen and try to guide you on how to go about things. Dr kasten is very rude arrogant poor bedside manner and neglects his patients concerns as far as the well being of themselves and their unborn child. I switched offices in the past couple of weeks because I felt like a huge inconvenience and as if I were being looked at like dollar signs, when I was being question by a new doctors office about some procedures I had no idea what they were talking about because he never did them on me like the stress test and having me come in weekly to check baby's fluid.

There has been a few concerns that I have brought to his attention and I was brushed off. For someone that has been delivering babies for 38 years should know the simple procedure for a gestational diabetic and I wasnt getting any of that care. I would not recommend Dr. Kasten as a delivering OB he has gotten sloppy, inconsiderate, and very stuck up over the past 8 years from my last delivery.

Save yourself the pain, time and money just to feel like an inconvenience and find yourself a caring OBGYN that wouldn't have a problem making sure you and your unborn are ok. There were many red flags raised when I went searching for a new office and the nurses were asking me why some of these things weren't done and I had no answer WHAT COULD I SAY? I'm glad im no longer a patient in his practice.

Posting from my husbands google account but Dr Kasten is hands down the BEST. I gave birth 2 weeks ago and throughout my whole pregnancy I felt reassured and comfortable about the care I was receiving. I'm a first time mom and had a previous miscarriage and I felt he did everything right the entire pregnancy. He was great during labor & delivery and I was scared but I felt I was in good hands the whole time! He's very kind and he knows what he's doing! One of my favorite doctors I've ever had! Definitely recommend!

Dr. Kasten has very poor bedside manner. He is a pompous windbag. Upon visiting him, he berated me to tears over a condition that I am well aware of and working on that has nothing to do with reproductive health, that I didnt inquire about. Instead of letting off, he kept up and felt the need to record his observations of my shortcomings in his notes.out loud, while giving me disapproving looks.

Very rude, condescending, and arrogant. However Theresa Lampe is an amazing nurse practitioner and I have seen her for years. She has amazing bedside manner and compassion for her patients. She will mention things of concern, but she wont beat a dead horse.

I have been going to him since 2013 he delivered my son, which was my 3rd child.the experience with him was good. I think everyone will have different experiences with the doctor and each case is different. My personal experience is all I am concerned about and if I had had a bad experience I would definitely express it so people could weigh out pros and cons.

I have never had an issue with his staff either, I have always been treated with kindness. I understand not everyone gets to have the same experience. Thus far I am a patient and will continue to be, I am comfortable with him since it is an uncomfortable situation having someone seeing you in a very private manner, I really hate going for my womanly physical but I do it and I am happy it is only every 2 yeas; I appreciate he delivered my baby and he is now turning 6 and is perfect.

He delivered my son earlier last year and was completely rude, ignorant and condescending. Having a child is supposed to be exciting and all he did was make my wife insecure. Told her she was crazy and that her pain "wasn't real". Clearly it was. Then continued to give her this injection that gave her terrible shakes and a little research later determined that the medicine was unsafe, especially when being used so much.

So my wife refused it. Which really seemed to "grind his gears". Basically it's his way or the highway and he has caused several unnecessary complications to both women and the unborn babies. His staff, the nurse practitioner and others did a fine job though. If you want to save yourself the trouble of talking to a doctor that makes the whole ordeal awful?

I'd go to Women's Health on Executive. Dr. Wilber was there for awhile and did a fantastic job for the birth of my wife's daughter. Dr. Wilber has since moved on to bigger and better things (goes to show what being a good doctor gets you), but the other ladies there are also nice. They make you comfortable and take every inquiry seriously and with care.

He saved my life and my babies life! Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. But he was a great doctor and I loved him. He really does Care about all his patients.

I was a patient of Dr. Kasten. He delivered my son in 1998 and my daughter in 2000. He took very good care of me during my pregnancies, always genuinely concerned about my children and I. On top of every issue that came up. Direct to the point was always what we needed. I would recommend Dr. Kasten to any new parents apprehensive about their first child. You will receive very good care!

My daughter in law went to Dr. Kasten's office this week and was treated in the most rude manner I have ever heard of. This appointment was for her first ultrasound. She was excited because it would be the first time she heard her baby's heartbeat. She wanted to share this moment with her mother and my wife. When she asked if they come in to hear, Dr. Kasten replied that he didn't really have time for it but agreed after much eye rolling.

Within seconds, he said, "There it is. Show's over." While waiting for the doctor to come in, she heard the nurses and/or staff arguing with each other in the hallway even telling each other to"shut up". Because of the unprofessional treatment she received, she is choosing another provider. I rated him "fair-poor" because there is no option to choose "Totally Unacceptable" or "Ignorant Bufoon".
