Children who are overweight or underweight or who have special diet needs may benefit from a session with our nutrition and fitness counselor. We provide healthy recipes and creative strategies to get the whole family on board with a healthy lifestyle. Children need a physical for Pre-K, Kindergarten, 6th and 9th grades, and any time they switch schools or play sports.
You've gotten past the newborn phase, and now, in the second month, you're starting to get a sense of your baby's personality. You may find it hard to believe, but you've made it halfway through your infant's first year! Your toddler now has a favorite toy, may run to the door if the playground is mentioned, and even throw a tantrum at bedtime.
Pediarix: combination vaccine of DTaP (Diptheria, Tetanus, whooping cough), Polio and Hepatitis B. Babies generally do well the first vaccine series; some side effects include low grade fever ( 100- 101F), fussiness, excessive crying, vomiting, sleepiness, and swelling at injection site. You may give about 0.4 ml (1/2 dropper) of Tylenol Infant drops every four hours twice or more if needed (up to five times) in twenty-four hours. If baby is straining or having a hard time passing stools, give about 1 tsp of Karo syrup (mixed with formula or breastmilk) or 1 oz of prune juice.
No vaccines are needed at nine months unless your child needs to catch up on any missed vaccinations. Use a rear-facing infant seat in the back seat of the car until twenty pounds or one year old. Although each baby develops in her own individual way and at her own rate, failure to reach certain milestones may signal medical or developmental problems requiring special attention. If you notice any of the following warning signs in your infant at this age, discuss them with your pediatrician.

Terrible people. My son has suffered all day. I've called this place all day. 8-3 I was lied to once and hung up on the next. Then I ask to speak to who is in charge and they want to put dr ready on the phone who only wants to hear the sound of his own voice and doesn't care what any parent has to say. I will never go here again or will my children. I hope they are happy my son suffered all day because they don't want to do their jobs.
