My initial glasses didn't quite have the correct prescription so Kennedy Eye rechecked my vision, free of charge, and corrected my lenses. They were so friendly and accommodating to my vision needs. The staff is always professional, friendly and accommodating.

Kennedy Vision Health Center is by far the best eye care I have received! Dr. Traverse is intentional, kind and very thorough with my eye care needs. They also have a great optical department with a very fun and friendly staff to help style you with quality frames and lenses for clear and protective vision.

Poor patient service. Edit: I did NOT receive any such phone call informing me of non coverage. I scheduled an appointment and mistakenly cancelled it same day believing I was out of network for my insurance. Kennedy eye care is in fact part of my in network coverage. I called back to schedule another appointment the following morning and the same time and date were available so I booked another appointment.

What you are apologizing for is incorrect. The customer service issue I have a problem with currently is mirrored by your response and that is inconsistency. I booked and appointment and when I showed up I didn't have an appointment and my time was wasted.

Got an eye exam today. I found this provider via my VSP insurance website. They seemed to do a thorough job and took their time getting measurements. However, I was charged $40 that insurance did not cover for a service I didn't ask for -- some sort of retinal imaging. I had requested a basic eye exam. They are also pretty pushy with the glasses sales after the exam.

I had vision issues that developed that other optometrists had brushed aside. Dr. Sell at Kennedy Vision took the time to listen, diagnose my problem, and propose a solution that worked. The rest of staff I've interacted with have been professional and eager to help. Highly recommend!

Excellent service and very friendly staff. Great choices for eyewear. They have all of the best tools for ensuring your eyes are healthy. A high end pair of frames with the best lenses using VSP insurance was $762 in 2022, yeah. Pretty steep price for a pair of glasses.

I didn't get the technicians name that I started with but he was really helpful at explaining all that he did. He was quick and efficient. Dr. Kim was great as always. I have seen her for many years. She takes the time to give the details on what she is doing and the condition of my eyes. Her expertise is un matched. I always enjoy my appointments with your office.

Rude staff tried to use my medical insurance instead of my vision insurance which has a lower copay and better benefits. I booked online, specified I had EyeMed but was booked with the one doctor who didn't take it. Had to cajole them to look up my EyeMed, then they wanted to reschedule. I pay good money for my insurance so it's important for me to trust providers will use it correctly and not be dismissive of my concerns when they don't.

Definitely would not recommend. My eye dr. of several years moved out of market so transferred me to this clinic. Called several times to order contacts, make eye appointments, follow up - no response. Finally text a number and got a response. They told me how to get through. FINALLY reached a body and they couldn't order contacts because i needed to have an eye appt, which is why i have been trying to get ahold of them for 3 months. They obviously don't need additional clients.

Dr. Kennedy and his staff are wonderful. They are vey thorough and always explain what tests they are doing and why they are doing them. Not only do they address my current issues but provide information to help me keep my eyes as healthy as possible going forward.

Great place. Very knowledgeable and love the option to do the optimap. Lenses were insanely expensive though. I will likely go somewhere else for this in the future. But everything else there is great.

I always have a great experience during my annual eye exam. The staff here is so friendly and makes you feel very welcome. I have been seeing Dr Traverse for many years and although thorough explains things in layman terms. It never feels like he is rushing to get you out the door.

I've been going to Kennedy for annual exams for the past several years. It's always easy to get in for an appointment and the staff is well organized and efficient. The store is clean, the glasses selection is great, and they make it extremely easy to order contacts as well. Highly recommend Kennedy Vision!

While the eye exams are top notch, I hate the fact that this clinic uses high pressure sales tactics to sell you overpriced glasses. The eye exams are the only reason I didn't give this place ONE star. In fact, while still in the exam room, one of their salespeople came in to take me over to the glasses to pick them out. To be fair, the salespeople are really helpful, and will even show you colors of a frame they don't have in stock, but it's like going to a car lot to buy a car, at least in the old days.

Even car dealerships learned to get rid of those sales tactics because it hurts business. You're NEVER given your prescription. EVER. At least not voluntarily. They legally have to give it to you if you ask, but because I have VSP (Vision Service Plan, or whatever it's called) and this is the closest provider, I feel I'm stuck. VSP really needs to vet their providers much more carefully.

From the moment i walked in to the moment I left I had a great experience with Kennedy Vision! The entire staff is great including the front desk staff, the nurses, my optometrist and the eyeglass specialist who helped me choose my new glasses. Kennedy Vision took all precautions necessary to maintain a safe and clean environment in these covid times. I felt very comfortable and cared for. Love my new frames, loved my experience will definitely be returning for all my eye care needs!!

My sister and I. We pulled into parking lot at her appointment time she is post Covid positive and still on oxygen. Steff has a brain injury. She is mentally and physically disabled. Because of her disabilities it took me about ten minutes just to get her from the car into the clinic. Once inside I was told we were late and would need to make another appointment.

We were not late, it was just challenging to get her into the building. We waited for 20 minutes to see if the doctor could fit us in and see her, but her oxygen was running low so we needed to leave. In the meantime I had asked to speak to the Doctor. He came out and met with us briefly and upon a quick assessment thought that she wouldn't even be able to get into his chair due to her disability.

The doctors saw other patients and finally came back out and said we might as well just go. It was the most humiliating and infuriating experience I have ever experienced in a clinic. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone, there was a complete lack of compassion from the front desk, to the doctor and all staff. Do not go here

The staff at Kennedy Vision are all super friendly and helpful and make having an eye exam and ordering glasses a breeze. Kennedy Vision has up to date technology so that you no longer have to have your pupils dilated- yeah!!! . Dr. Kennedy is very kind, thorough, and proactive in his caring for your eye health. I am very satisfied with the care and service at Kennedy Vision and have been a client for years.

I've been one of Dr Kennedy's patients for close to 40 years. Very thorough exams and staff is excellent. More like a visit with friends than a "doctor" appointment. Highly recommended for full vision care.

I could get in an eye appointment within a week of my initial call. Never having glasses or contacts before the staff was able to help me find glasses that look great and didn't cost me a fortune. Also, for first time wearing contacts and the staff was patient and kind with me. I was also able to get contacts quickly for my vacation in less than 2 weeks. I didn't give five stars because I did have a hard time scheduling with one receptionist one time.

Eye appointment itself was fine, but don't order contacts or glasses from there. What was suppose to take less than 1 week to make my glasses as they were supposedly "going to be made here" has turned into a nearly 3 week disaster and no one can tell the truth as to where my already paid for glasses are. Calls aren't returned as told they would be, and when I call, every single person tells me something different.

One person says, "they were ordered wrong"; one says, "the lab made the wrong lenses"; one says, "they had to be sent to the out of state lab", and now they say "the lab is waiting for the office to send the frames". I definitely will not ever make the mistake of buying glasses from here again.

I want to thank the staff at Kennedy for helping me out while traveling. I had left my contacts at home and they were very helpful in accommodating and providing me with some trials. The staff were friendly and did a great job. It's nice to see that helping people in need still exists today. Thanks Kennedy.

I was on my way to visit relatives in Minneapolis early Friday afternoon when I started to have eye problems. Kennedy Vision Health center saw me that afternoon. They were very thorough and took the time to explain to me what was going on with my eye. On the weekend I had another concern about the eye and the eye doctor answered that question by phone even though the offices were closed. I was so impressed with their service and with Dr Bugajski.

I have seen many different eye clinic's in the past. The Kennedy vision health center is by far my most positive experience. Staff were happy, respectful, easy to talk to, efficient and my eye examination was the most comprehensive examination that I have ever received. All of my questions were answered during my appointment. Kennedy vision truly cares about your eyes and who I will trust with my next eye exam.

Awful customer service. Was 15 minutes late to my first time there (got lost, I just moved to Minnesota from California) I told the receptionist I would be late. When I did arrive I was told I would have to re schedule and pay a 50 dollar cancellation fee. I have very specific contact lenses I need for me eyes that are very very expensive, and its really sad that the doctor would turn me away and make me pay the $50 when he could have made much more money from being my regular optometrist.

The receptionists are catty and talk badly about the patients behind the counter as well, me being one of them. Needless to say I paid the 50 dollar cancellation (even though I did not cancel) fee without rescheduling. They do not value new patients. On top of an appointment at a new optometrist, I have discovered that they had pulled my VSP insurance without being seen.

Therefore I am having difficulties being seen elsewhere. Beware of this place! And to you're response Dr. Kennedy, do you have any idea how many HIPAA privacy laws you just breached by releasing my appointment and payment info? It was not an oops I'm late, it was an "I am a student, going through finals, and yes the health of my eyes did not prioritize over my 4.0 GPA" I'm sure you went to school once.

My review is honest, and you're response makes YOU look worse. You're receptionist Christa had a lot to say and was quite "catty." But it's okay, because I did have great luck at my new optometrist! Thanks again for taking $50 bucks from me, and be prepared for the medical privacy suit.

Soon as you miss one appointment, service becomes very unfriendly, you get treated like a deadbeat. I missed one appointment because my boss delayed me after a training class that I was organizing that day, and the traffic. They told me no worries, we can reschedule you. I got the text and I confirmed, but my bad assumption thinking it would create a calendar event for me.

I missed the rescheduled appointment. At the next appointment I asked if they would waive the $50 fee since it was the first time I had these problems. That's when things went downhill. I find the staff also lacks cultural diversity, as I am a minority and have an accent. I feel they could have been more pleasant. They said they lose money if someone does not show up during on-demand times. I offered to have my next appointment in one of the less on-demand times. No dice. I am not going back.

I've been going to Kennedy Vision for a few years now. They have a really modern office, the service is really great. I will agree with others here that you are not best served by buying your glasses in their office - way overpriced. However, this is a really great place to get your eyes checked once a year.

I have seen Dr. Traverse multiple times for different eye issues and have been extremely pleased with the level of care, medical knowledge and professionalism of him and his staff. The facility is beautiful and clean, the technology is up-to-date and the experience is exceptional! I would highly highly recommend Kennedy vision health center

Not a good experience! After three appointments, a $160 "contact fitting fee, " one set of contacts that made me dizzy and having to plea with the doctors to go back to my original brand of contacts.after all of this I was told I would need to pay full price because they no longer honored my insurance. I (and my whole family) am going elsewhere. Front office staff snotty and unwilling to help.which makes me wonder why I didn't just walk out at my first appointment.

What was my wife thinking? She brought my 6 year old son there for his first set of glasses, and somehow a pair of glasses ended up being over $600 by the time we were done. Then, as part of a routine doctor visit at Park Nicollet were were told that his correction is so minor that he doesn't even need to wear them full time, if at all. I think these guys are too focused on making money. Our family won't be going there any more.

Mixed experiences. In general the office staff is snobby and cold. Don't plan on being greeted with genuine friendliness. Seems to be a pretty ridged business culture. Some of the doctors seem more concerned about profit than care. High priced. Not a great deal of customer driven focus. Seems like they do what makes money, not relationships. They took financial advantage of my condition for their profit even when provided with a prior doctor's records stating that the condition they were testing for wasn't an issue and the results of the tests proving so.

We had to pay for additional tests that had already been preformed. They benefit from discounted contacts and when offering to return unused contacts they do not give you the full price you paid. But, a discounted amount. They charge at the highest level for even minor visits and provide no care unless they can bill. There are better options out there. And, then they have the nerve to ask for a review on Yelp using the email provided in your medical records. How unprofessional!

I have been to Kennedy Vision twice so far. The doctors are great in explaining details about the process and test results. They were very clear about what is necessary for a good vision and what is optional while looking for lenses. There was no sales push for costlier lenses, but a genuine effort to let us pick up what is right for us keeping in mind the insurance and our preferences and lifesytle.
