Even though I was a first time patient, I was in and out pretty quickly and efficiently. The technicians and nurses were amazing and Dr. Kurzman was absolutely amazing. He is the nicest person that I have ever met. I cannot recommend this location or this doctor enough. He was very kind, with a low tone and a untouched "Ready to go" attitude even after a long day of work. Again, I cannot recommend him enough.

The price was very low, insurances for diff people and diff plans covered everyone who has stepped into that office. If I can rate higher than 5 stars I would. Thank you for an amazing and quick experience!

I have been coming to Dr. Kurzmans office for years and although it takes some time to get an appt with him it's well worth it (no longer then a month) he is always such a pleasure to see, a truly genuine sweet doctor that cares about you and your concerns. The staff is so wonderful as well, specifically speaking about his assistance Amanda! Always so sweet and welcoming she even helped me with my son when I had to step out for a moment! I have been to numerous dermatologist in the past and I have to say I probably won't be going anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Kurzman and Amanda!

He misdiagnosed me. Kept me on strong medicine, which helped. But didn't treat the course of my skin issues. His waiting room is small with many patients waiting for hours. His staff isn't kind or professional. He kept upping the dosage on my meds every month or so. So I went into NYP Cornell and one or two visits and my conditioned was cleared. I would never go back

The doctors and their staff are amazing! Danielle at the front desk is an absolute gem and has been soo helpful!

Dr. Kurzman is the best! He is kind and generous with his time and provided me with the exact care that I needed. The entire staff was super helpful and a pleasure to be around. They booked me quickly and when I was there, I was seen at my appointment time. I highly recommend Dr. Kurzman's office!

I can't recommend this office enough. Dr. Kurzman and his entire staff are the most kindest and caring people. I did not feel rushed at all throughout my appointment. They listened to all of my questions and concerns and answered every question I had. I can tell Dr. Kurzman definitely cares about his patients and their well-being. I was very unsure of the procedure I was going in for, and the doctor helped me choose what worked best for me and I am ecstatic over the results!

The dr and team he works with are amazing they make sure they can accommodate and help as much as possible. They make it stress free and look out for the safety of their patients

Dr Kurzman does my Dysport and Filler injections. He is always very kind and makes me feel at ease and comfortable. The office staff is always nice to me from the moment I call to make my appointment to scheduling a follow up before I leave. I see Caitlyn the PA for my general exams and she's extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Kurzman's assistant Amanda is the sweetest! Thank you for all that you do for me!

The doctor himself is a great guy, very nice and respectful, but he has some very disrespectful employees. The girl who is responsible for taking appointments who wears black and answers the phone most of the time is extremely disrespectful, it was my first time there a few days ago and she had a very disrespectful attitude, then when the doctor came out her attitude magically changed and called me "honey" as if everything was going on very sweet.

Before that as i was sitting in the waiting room the other employee let 6 people in before me, when i confronted her about it she told me whats your name again? she ended forgetting that i had an appointment! she said ill bring you in next, laughing it off like its no big deal, what really got me is this lady walked in with her 8 year old son, she showed up 15 mins late to her appointment and said the to the employee my son needs to go first because if he inst playing the game he will go crazy. and that same employee laughed at it and said sure, and guess what they where let in before me to, extremely disrespectful staff, i for sure wont come back again.

I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a caring dermatologist office in the area. Both me and my two daughters are patients there. The office staff is so friendly and there is virtually never a wait. The Dr''s there have shown kindness and patience and I never feel rushed. I'm so happy to have such a knowledgeable office staff on the island.

My family and I have seen both Dr. Kurzman and his PA Caitlyn for several years now. They are both very thorough with there exams. Caitlyn has spotted quite a few skin cancers that my father had. We always feel that we are in good hands when we visit the office. The staff is accommodating and nice. Highly recommend.

I love Dr. Kurzman! He's very knowledgeable and experienced and very kind and gentle. The ladies in the office are very nice also which is so important! My entire family goes here and will continue to.

Not sure what these other reviews are, but for more reliable ones, I recommend checking those on Google. Time and time again, Dr. Kurzman proves to be a life saver with my very stubborn skin. He and his staff are very nice and knowledgeable. Amazing bedside manners! I am very apprehensive when it comes to dermatologists because I do not trust just anyone with my skin, but Dr. Kurzman always makes me feel at ease. I 10/10 recommend him.

Dr. Kurzman is an excellent dermatologist. I make sure to see him every 6 months and he does a thorough skin check to make sure all my moles and freckles are okay. I appreciate the time he takes to explain my skin conditions. It's always a pleasure to speak with the staff to make my appointments. His PA Caitlyn is also great!

Dr Kurzman and Caitlin are excellent! They are both very knowledgeable and have great bedside manner. They both take the time to explain things to me so I would understand. All of the office staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr Kurzman's office of you are looking for a dermatologist!

Unfortunately, I had one of those horrific customer service experiences you think are made-up reviews. I called Dr. Kurzman's office to make an appointment for my elderly mother. The office person who answered the phone said they accepted my mother's insurance but they would not provide the information needed for my mother's primary care physician to send the referral.

The information I needed was a standard HIP insurance number that any doctor accepting my mother's insurance would have. When I asked if they would be willing to speak with my mother's primary care doctor's office they said no and hung up. I can handle poor customer service but have a problem with claiming to take a certain insurance but then not being able to support that claim by providing standard information for a referral. Shameful.

I made an appointment over a month ago for my 13 year old son. The office sent me 5 text messages and 4 emails confirming my appt. I called the office a week before his appt to confirm. I went to the appt and i filled out all the paperwork and the receptionist proceeds to tell me she doesnt take my insurance. i drove all the way to the office, left work early to be told they do not take my insurance. no one could of called me or emailed me before the appt?

Then the receptionist lies and tells me she left me a voicemail after i made a big deal about not being told weeks before. Very unprofessional and disorganized office. BEWARE!

Wait time wasn't bad at all. Had no issues at front desk and found Dr.kurzman to be very sweet and informative. Have no complaints at all.

When you have an appointment with the doctor your appointment is at 10 you get in at three. If you need to see him for an emergency you have to wait for appointment for months! After you get to the office the staff over books your waiting for hours and hours to be seen. Susie at the front desk is rude nasty and no customer services skills. She is the worst!

You call her she gets nasty and is lazy to help out. She is horrible! I am surprise she is still there. Many people complain about her and her nasty attitude. She is the only one with a bad way about her self. She needs to know if it wasn't for "US" customers she would not have a job to do. Horrible I would never go there again. I found a great doctor in Brooklyn he is the best!

Dr. Kurzman is a great doctor. I truly appreciate his care. But please, Dr. Kurzman, why would you invest money in your education and practice and then hire such unprofessional staff? They should be a reflection of you and represent the quality that your practice maintains but as a patient I am very disappointed. The individual that handled my call, at the end of your day, on a Thursday, was neither professional nor caring of my needs as your patient.

She was abrupt, had no desire to listen to what I needed, and made it clear she wanted to be off the phone. I too work in office and pride myself in maintaining proper phone ettiquete at all times. I was experiencing a skin cancer scare and just wanted to get in to see you. No appointment was set. She rushed to hang up, nothing accomplished. I am very disappointed in your office. Please hire people who take the job more seriously. This our health we are dealing with. We need serious people to do serious care.

If I could rate this office I'd say it was a zero. tried to call to make an appointment for my son, myself and my husband! The receptionist told me they don't see families! She said they had problems with families never showing up! Ok, so does that mean I won't show up! Just feel you can't single people out! Life is to hectic for inconvenience! I need to go according to my schedule not run to the doctor's office 3 different times! It's absurd!

I took my son over a week ago for a skin condition. Dr. Kurzman prescribed medicine. He handed us a business card for a pharmacy in Manhattan, that would fill the presciption. I called the doctors office back and informed the person on the phone I wanted the medicine called or electronically sent to the pharmacy of my choice (obviously a local one where all his scripts are).

The person on the phone said that they would not call/electronically send it to the pharmacy of my choice. After some back and forth and a hold she said ok. It was sent to my pharmacy and the pharmacist called me and said Kurzman has to call the insurance company and receive an authorization number. The pharmacist said this is common now that the office calls the insurance company for an authorization number.

I called back the office and the person on the other end of the phone (same person from before) said that they don't do it (they are to busy was what I was told). I explained that the pharmacist said that it is done all the time. I even called the Office of Medical Professional Discipline and they said that the doctor has to call. After back and forth and holding for a period of time I was informed that they would do it but it could take 2 weeks.

It is now over a week and obviously the doctor couldn't care less about my sons (yes a minor) condition. Kurzman is all about making money and couldn't care less about the patient.

Fantastic! I see him for laser hair removal and he leaves no scars, marks or puffiness! One place I went to I was marked up so badly I missed four days of work! Not the case here. Also he doesn't rush you out and will answer all your questions. He also removed a mole for me and it was painless as well. He's a great doctor. Very hard to get an appointment with so you may have to make an appointment way in advance.

I don't normally rate doctors because I don't think it would be fair of me. I am too scared of any doctor and hate going that I don't think I would be able to be objective. I am making an exception for Dr. Kurzman so I can let you all know how awesome he is. I recently went to him because of a keloid I have on my back. It was obvious that I was super nervous.

He was extremely patient with me and answered all my questions. Also, I barely had to wait at all. One of my biggest pet peeves about doctors is that they have no respect for your time. I understand things can get backed up but sometimes it's out of control. Wasn't the case here. I think I waited a total of 10 mins before I saw the doctor.
