La Clinica was founded in 1971 to address health barriers and create better lives for the underserved. Today, La Clinica is the first choice for providing multi-lingual, accessible full-scope health care services in the East Bay, no matter a patient's income level or insurance status. Before coming here, I had a stroke but I've been able to stay healthy now because of La Clinica.

If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be here. I just thank God for La Clinica every day. Not only have they helped me in receiving medical attention, but also with housing, and trying to get a job.
Services
La Clinica was born of the efforts put forth by a group of UC Berkeley students in 1971, and has been providing health care services to the communities of the East Bay ever since. The aforementioned students, aware of the gap in health care for lower-income populations, held a conviction: that every person deserves access to high-quality, culturally appropriate health care, regardless of their ability to pay.
La Clinica's Annual Report provides an overview of achievements from the past year while highlighting our unique programming and impacts. The Annual Report also gives a glance of La Clinica's financial and patient profile and recognizes the many donations and investments that help support important La Clinica programs and services.
La Clinica's mission remains the same because the reason why La Clinica exists has not changed. Our strategic plan sets our course for how La Clinica will continue to fulfill its mission in the next few years in light of where we are today and what the world we live in looks like today.
Below are just a few of the many stories from the thousands of people that La Clinica positively impacts each year through its innovative health programs and amazing staff. I had a lot of issues: cavities, problems with my teeth, infections, you name it. But it was those experiences, plus my interest in science and wanting to be of service to people, especially underserved populations, that brought me to La Clinica.

Doctors and nurses are fine, they are very educated, respectful and treat patients with dignity. But, the front desk stuff make of every doctor's visit a nightmare, they are very rude and treat people with no respect at all.

As a patient who has been attending this clinic since childhood I am greatly disappointed in the attitude that the front desk staff have portrayed. The are extremely rude at times and are unwilling to help patients. I speak for my family members and friends with this review and I also look forward to making an official complaint toward this clinic.

If there is anyone who is looking to go to this clinic I recommend you don't. I understand if this was a one time occurrence but I have been extremely disrespected more than once.

People who answers the phone are so unprofessional. I was verifying the address and have her wait for a sec to get a pen. She gave me a sigh. Which is not acceptable.
