Services
We are your medical home, providing expert clinical care to the children, adolescents and teenagers in our community since 1984. At our office, we believe that raising a child is a rewarding-as well as a challenging-experience for a parent. Our goal is to help you enjoy this experience and to ensure that your child's full potential is reached.
The Preventative Maintenance visit is more commonly known as a Well Care visit. You can expect at this visit for your child to receive a thorough head to toe review. The provider will review body systems and a perform a physical exam. You will answer age specific questions about nutrition, development, medical history, social history, behaviors and also be able to talk through questions or concerns you may have. At these visits, at specific periods in time your child will receive childhood vaccines.
A phone nurse is available during office hours to answer any routine questions you might have about your child and after hours our answering service will connect you to one of our on-call providers listed below. We are conveniently located on the East side of Florida Avenue directly between Sonny's BBQ and the US Post Office.
We participate with most major insurance carriers, but today carriers offer numerous plans some of which we do not have contracts for. We recommend that you contact them prior to making an appointment to make sure your child's visits will be covered. We will submit your claims, however we must emphasize that as medical providers, our relationship is with you, not your insurance company. In no circumstance will we be responsible for the accuracy of information provided to you or to us by your insurance company.

Initially we started with a completely unrelated pediatrician's office, but I am so glad we switched to Lakeside. Everyone is friendly, calls are returned in a timely manner, and there is even after hours help for emergencies. The doctors are not only knowledgeable and helpful, but they don't rush you and actually take the time to answer questions. Highly recommend this office and I am so glad we found them!

I used to visit this pediatrics as a child and since having my own child I naturally wanted to bring her to this establishment but the level of unprofessionalism was astounding, the doctor seems to always arrive an hour late on top of that it takes about an hour to get checked in. I will never be coming back here, Lakeland Regional Health was more professional and considerate of my time.
