So I was scheduled for an appt in April called to cancel. I was then told they couldn't find my message, then was told to pay a no show fee. When I complained to Stephanie which I mind you is so rude and disrespectful said to me I don't know what to tell you. I then proceeded to speak with office manager. She was the nastiest attitude. No compassion or empathy.

They clearly just want your money, and it's just another money grabber. I would save yourself the aggravation if your looking for pain MGMT. They are very unprofessional and rude. If I could rate this office it would be very poor. Just remember y'all were warned Have a good day Stephanie and office manager

I highly recommend Pain Consultants of East Tennessee. Everyone on the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I was having horrendous headaches and neck pain. Thanks to Dr. Smith, I am pain free, and I can live a normal life without the stiffness in my neck and no headaches. She and Dr. Killeffer, a neurosurgeon at the University of Tennessee have been a game changer for me, and I will always be forever grateful for their medical expertise.

They are very patient. I am a hard person to get an IV in but they did it and without hurting me. They treat you like you're the only patient there and you're VIP. They always take great care of me.

The staff at the Weisgarber office were so nice and patient with me. They treated me very well and showed concern about my health. I really liked all the staff I met. I can't brag on them enough. I want to thank all the staff at the Weisgarber office. you all are so sweet, nice, helpful and amazing at your job!

I was told to tell the truth about what would be found in my urine test. "We can handle anything but lying", the doctor told me. Today I just received a letter saying Dr. Martha Smith wasn't willing to have a patient/physician relationship due to what was found in my urine! I got the feeling the place was a rip-off from the beginning. I think I hit it right on the head. Useless place if you really need help.

Due to unfortunate complications from a cervical spinal fusion C3-T3 I have spent the better part of the past 3 or more years of my life in & out of pain management due to many other surgeries to correct the issues from the original surgery that began with sepsis almost killing me twice & left me with an open wound that would not heal due to deep infection caused by the hardware placed in my cervical spine. Sadly, I went through a couple pain management clinics before I found this one & I have to say this one is where I will stay until hopefully I won't need it anymore after my final surgery in the near future.

Everyone here has been so nice, caring & more importantly understanding. I would certainly recommend Pain Consultants of East Tennessee to anyone who truly needs pain management services. Thank you PCET for setting the bar for what should be a reputable & caring pain management setting!

I have recently started seeing the providers in this office and I am very pleased with how well I have been treated. It's more than just medication. They also offer Occupational Therapy to help with everyday life.

Clean. Disinfected 3 times a day. Masks are not required but many still wear them. Friendly staff willing to help you. You can bring your children because it's in a setting the same as any medical waiting room.

The employees here are really friendly, and efficient. I've been going there for over 5 years. They keep my back pain under control which is so comforting. I'm not going to any other pain consultant. Why should I? They are the best!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Like a review I read said "treats all patients like an addict" it is very true. I went with a family members to his appointment and have never been more mad. Darren McCoy is extremely rude and the worst nurse practitioner you could see. If that's who your appointment is with, just turn around and go else where. No respect for his elderly and absolutely no patient care. Darren McCoy = in his career simply for the pay check.

Went to this place 3 times, on the third visit I was suppose to have an injection due to a previous surgery. I was told by Martha Smith M.D. on the previous visit that the only risks were soreness at the injection location. Never was I told I had to be sedated for this injection or that actual massive list of complications and side effects until the third visit.

They gave me a giant waver saying explaining how the process worked and that there are very real, very serious complications due to the nature of the injection and how the injection had to be done with curved needles to go around the hip. After reading the paperwork I was concerned and when she came in she was offended that I was concerned after she had told me there were no risks in doing this.

I left the office and I would encourage others to look for another pain management location. Her attitude and behavior were appalling and frankly childish. I did have another problem, when they wrote that my appointment was one day and then called me days prior asking where was I when I had proof that told me a different date.

I can't recommend the surgery center there to anyone in good conscience. You get treated pretty well until the surgery/procedure is done. Then you get shoved into your clothes and out the door regardless of how incoherent you are, how much pain you are in, or how far you have to travel home. It's not a very nice way to treat people when they are at your mercy. I hope no one ever treats you folks at PCET or your loved ones that way.

This group treats everyone like an addict. Unfortunately doctors are being conditioned to treat all, even those with provable medical diagnosis that cause or result in pain, as they are seeking drugs. I will not go back to this clinic as the moment I stepped in I was treated horrible. It's not the front office staff or nurses. It's the doctors and nurse practitioners. They herd you like cattle from room to room, and when you actually have relevant information the nurse practitioners act as if your wasting your time. Shameful

The staff and medical team here are always so helpful. Not just another number to them. I deal mainly with the Oakridge office and the receptionist, BTW is awesome, nurses are great and practitioners really care. Thanks PCET!
