Services
Once you have scheduled your appointment, please take a few minutes to learn more about your procedure. Some procedures have specific preparation instructions which if not followed may require you to reschedule. If you have any questions regarding your exam, please call us at 718-428-1500. You may take any other prescribed medications, including hypertension medication and seizure medication.
We accept most insurance plans. Some insurance plans require pre-authorization and/or a referral. We will work with your referring physician to obtain these. We will ask for a copy of your insurance card and any referral form that is required by your insurance company when you arrive for your appointment.

I've been going to Main St Radiology for years without issues, but something must have changed. I recall being able to make an appointment online - that's gone. So I called and got a message saying the wait time was 22 minutes, but that I could get a callback without losing my place in line - I opted for the callback. About 20 min later, I received a callback which immediately disconnected after I answered.

So I had to start from scratch and called again, and this time I was told that the wait was 33 minutes! But I decided to wait on line this time. Suprisingly after 7 minutes of recorded messages, I got transferred to a ringing line, so I thought I got lucky! No such luck! It rang 50 times (no kidding - I was keeping score!) before I decided that this company just was not worth my time. Moving on and finding another provider that has more respect for its customers.

I called 2 times 718-428-1500 to make an appointment for chest xray on 6/14/22 and 6/15/22 and spoke to 2 different girls and they both told me that is not necessary for appointment for x ray you can walk in before 7:00pm. I left my job and drove and arrived 4:30 pm on 6/15/22 at the door was a lady and she ask me for appointment I told her that the center when I called they told me that I don't need an appointment for xrays. and then I went inside and spoke to Irma (is a guy) and he was insisting that since I don't have an appointment he cannot help me.

I was insisting explain to him but he was saying one of the machines are broke and I cannot help you. He gave me an appointment for today 6/16/22 at 11:00 am. I arrived at 10:30 am Irma today he was at the door and ask for his name the other lady she wasn't there today. He send me a link yesterday and I pre-registered also and then I went downstair Level 1 and I finish by 11:00 am.

The other employees and the lady that took the xray was very nice and polite Place was very clean. These 2 people they don't have no respect for the time of the people. I left my job to arrive there lost half day yesterday and another half day today. Please put these people in order, the center, and the registration department to see which one is giving us wrong information. I felt that these people they don't have no respect.

Everyone was professional, helpful, and friendly. They did everything they could to make the experience as easy & as comfortable as possible. I was impressed by the effort put forth by everyone involved and I would definitely recommend Main Street Radiology.

Have been going to Main St. Radiology for all my radiology tests for several years. The process is easy, the staff friendly which puts me at ease, all are very professional. Would recommend Main Street to my family and friends.

The Radiologist was very helpful, respectful and courteous. Appointment is easy and works with your available time. Facility was immaculate and covid19 rules in place. Staff makes you feel comfortable before procedure.

I love this place. I love the valet parking It is organized I use a walker & someone always opens the door for me. Staff is very friendly & helpful I always end up getting an IV and that always goes well Was back there again! Everything great again! Back again! For copies of disk & print out letter Always free & just a short wait Was back AGAIN! Great as usual Organized & friendly

I took my son with autism for an MRI and I must say the front desk did their job maybe not the most friendly but they did get to the point. The wait was minimal thank God, they had to put a line in for sedation, and the tech doing it was amazing, gentle, and understanding( Not everyone has patience for autism) The tech performing the MRI was sweet and understanding as well. I must say considering it was his first-time

The stuffs at Main St Radiology are so kind and caring at the two Bayside locations. They are true leaders in patient care. Some of these tests could be really scary especially for the first timers. However, they made it better by telling me what's going to happen next every step of the way, reaffirming me that I'm doing great, checking with me if I'm cold, and even holding my hands at times. I'm very grateful. Highly recommend.

I scheduled an appointment for an ultrasound which was smooth (1 star). On-site personnel were very friendly and took me at the time I was scheduled (1 star). During my ultrasound, the examiner seemed uncomfortable with where I needed an ultrasound and the procedure seemed very rushed (5 minutes. really?). The bill came, I was billed for a procedure not even close to what the prescription was for.

I called billing to fix the incorrect item on my bill with no help what-so-ever. The bill was submitted again at a higher price than what I was originally quoted at the time of my appointment ($200 more). I do not recommend this location based on billing and the bedside manner making me feel uncomfortable.

In two words. Excellent experience. From check-in to testing. I have tested at this facility multiple times. The techs are considerate. Patient and professional. The check-in experience has been streamlined and is seamless for me even during Covid-19.

I had an MRI at Main Street Radiology! Making an appointment was easy. The person making the appointment was kind, helpful and accommodating! The day of the procedure I was taken in almost immediately and the technician was knowledgeable, pleasant and made me feel very comfortable.

The staff is alway professional, polite and helpful. The facility is clean and very COVID conscientious with plenty of sanitizer and well spaced chairs and shields. The appointment time was promptly kept on schedule. The testing done efficiently with state of the art equipment. Making an appointment was easy too.

I had an appointment at Main Street Radiology and was pleasantly surprised that they had a parking lot (valet) for patients. Everyone was extremely nice and efficient, from confirming my appointment, to registering, to having an ultrasound. I was called in, actually welcomed in, by an ultrasound technician whose name was Patricia. She was extremely kind, assisting me when necessary. She was very through, explaining what she was doing. Patricia had a very calming demeanor, and if I ever need another ultrasound, I hope she is the one to perform it.

I had to get renal sonogram done and I picked this location due to its convenient. Bonus point for having a parking lot behind the facility. My appointment was 11:30am, was told to arrive by 11am. The check-in process was fast, I was in and out by 11:35am! Everything was easily instructed and provided. The facility looked clean and neat. I felt safe and well taken care of. Patricia took me in quick and was friendly. Overall a good experience!

I came here to do my ultrasound exam yesterday and before I got registered, I let the front person know that I wanted a Korean translator since I can't speak English well. She told me there was a Korean translator in the front desk. I was waiting for a little bit and she gave me the tablet telling me its in Korean to fill it out. It was my first time doing this and I didn't know what to do.

I filled the first page and was confused on what to do next. I looked up and I was the only one in there waiting. Almost all the front desk were on their phones and chatting while one person was registering another person. I stood up and the front desk told me to sit down and wait. When they called me, they didn't have a Korean translator translate for me instead they told me to fill it out on there tablet since it is in Korean.

I asked her what I should do next and she told me to fill it out on there and if I don't know to just press next. She didn't really help me and was sighing while I was in front of her. I wanted to make my mammo and ultrasound appt after I finish registering for my exam that day and she helped me make appt but I didnt understand. Thats when a Korean translator came and helped me make the appointment. They started treating me better and was friendly once my voice got a bit louder. It was a very horrible experience and I felt like I was being looked down.

I had to repeat my first mammogram ever because a part of the imaging wasn't clear, so my doctor ordered a diagnostic ultrasound just to be safe. The staff provided a quick check-in process and followed strict COVID regulations making me feel safe in these times. I was especially impressed with Patricia who was my ultrasound technician, she was overwhelmingly professional and charismatic.

She did a thorough examination until she finally found the the small 3mm mass in question. Her experience and determination was demonstrated when she was able to find what turned out to be nothing but a small cyst. There aren't enough words to express how valuable I think she is to this organization by keeping me calm and helping me reach an accurate diagnosis in order to walk out of that office with a sense of relief. Thank you Patricia for all the effort you put into providing such excellent care.

I had to come here for a barium swallow test and, boy, was I nervous. Calling to make an appointment was easy peasy, and I was able to get one on the same week. It was going to be my first time and my mind was racing: "How long is this going to take?" "Are the people going to be friendly?" "Will I know what to do? What if I mess up?" "Am I going to die?" (I'm a worrier, not a warrior) So.

I went in, not knowing what to expect. Still in the days of the COVID-19 pandemic, they had a check-in system. Limited seating made me nervous, but it was no problem. I arrived early for my appointment and, despite it being my first visit, checking in was speedy and I didn't have to wait long (probably five minutes only). After waiting, I had to go down to another part of the building, where there was another waiting room.

The wait was again short (probably another five minutes). I was then escorted to the testing room by a front desk staff / medical assistant, and she sensed my anxiety. She reassured me that I didn't have to be nervous, and that helped. In the actual testing room, the medical assistant was pleasant, straightforward, and thorough, giving me a breakdown on what to do and what to do expect.

I had to briefly wait again for the doctor, but when she did, she was just as pleasant, straightforward, and thorough. The actual test lasted about five minutes, and I left with nothing but a positive impression of the place. Because of the short waiting time, the pleasant and sensitive people, and the lowering of high expectations, my first time here was a five-star experience. Oh. and I didn't die (silly worrier. be a warrior). I don't think the experience could've been any better.

I have been to this radiology center a few times and the customer service and caring nature is consistent. In the Heath field by having friendly and positive employees makes a difference some a majority of the patients are there for something that may not just be routine. Elissa, Gerry (nurse - loved her!), Dr. Lu and Pina are a few of the outstanding Heath professionals I remember. Imagine that, actually remembering their name since they left such an impression. Thank you Main Street!

This has got to be the nicest staff of any office. From the reception to the radiologist Christina was awesome and Fabulous as she explained in detail what was going to occur. Christina made it seem to me that this was the first time she was explaining the procedure but she must have said the same thing to many others previously. Kai was also very helpful and very attentive to everything. Dr Han Kim had the best attitude and deminior he was efficient and professional as well as being very friendly and amazing and Fabulous. This will always be my go to place whenever I need to get any prociders done.

I had to make multiple phone calls to my doctor and Main Street Radiology to straighten out paper work I already emailed them and my doctor already faxed. After I insisted they look for my email it was found. My doctor had to fax the authorization a second time. All this extra work was dumped into my lap by Anna L who refused to follow up with me and the doctor for paper work they already had.

Horrible. Waiting over an hour for a mammogram, with 3 other women that came and went. I got dressed and left. With my images for another place. I ask the girl 3x what was going on she at me like I was asking for a blouse in anothelookedr color. Very unprofessional, this is my body, my life. Horrible experience. Will never go back

I'm having surgery in a few weeks and came here for a few clearences. The place is being renovated/upgraded so there is a bit of a wait before seeing the technician. Please don't be upset with them, it's not their fault. Try and be a bit understanding. I waited about an hour once they got my checked in upstairs, till I saw my tech. They have a TV in the lounge, and free wifi, so feel free to use that to spend the time.

My Tech Georgia, was an absolute sweetheart. I was a bit nervous because I've never had any type of surgery or anesthesia before, and the standard workup has been a bit stressful, because it's just getting me closer to surgery day. Georgia made me feel very calm, and comfortable. It was like talking to a friend. She is, friendly, warm, and very knowledgeable.

She made sure I knew what she was doing and if she had to put some more pressure in certain areas, so I was aware. Overall it was a great experience, and I'm a bit more comfortable with having surgery.

Registration is very organized. I got to see my technician ahead of schedule which was great. My technician, Patricia, was so nice and professional. Be sure to check with your own individual health insurance plan to understand cost of services.

More like 1.5 stars. Staff does shepherd people in and out quickly. Xray tech was nice. My issue is with billing department. I was quoted $80 out of pocket for the 2 xrays I had from the initial meet. The lady at reception mentioned that if I billed insurance it might be a 'little' more expensive. I knew prior and told her specifically that I know I would have to pay the full amount since I needed to fulfill my deductible prior to insurance copayment. However, imagine my surprise when I logon and see that Main Street Radiology billed $700+ to my insurance. (Of which I will have to pay to satisfy my deductible).

I am beyond disappointed with how this turned out. This is not a 'little' more expensive. This is close to 10 times more than what I was envisioning my out of pocket cost to be. What I don't understand is why they didn't bill the amount they quoted me as the cost for the xrays. In addition, their CD burner was broken. I was not able to receive a copy of the xrays. Echoing what others have said: for first time visits depending on your insurance plan be wary of using your insurance here. I will not be returning.

Everyone was super friendly and professional. They all introduced themselves and let me know ahead of time what they were going to do. I was register, filled out forms and completed my X-ray in approximately 15 minutes. Not bad for a walk in without appointment. Plus they have valet parking & there are tons of residential parking - so no hassle.

What a Wonderful Facility! All of the Staff from Gwendolyn at the front desk to Patricia who did my 2 ultrasounds to the woman who did my x-rays and Cary who did my mammograms and Pauline the office manager. All these women were caring, compassionate, understanding and patient. I had to have six procedures done at this Radiology and aside from one guy who was rude and disrespectful to me because I only wanted a woman to take care of me.

Everything went perfect. There is no lack of compassion and empathy from these women or the majority of the employees. With more invasive procedures they show incredible respect and privacy, and the many occasions I have been to several of these locations they have treated me as if I were a personal friend or someone in their family. They have All up-to-date equipment and they take all insurance. Also, all of the equipment is clean and the facility is clean and well organized.

You also get your own locker to store your belongings safely and securely. If you truly want good service, reliable staff and feel assured about your tests being performed and it's accurate results. I find it extremely comforting If you prefer a woman for any kind of test internally or mammograms that you need they always have women on hand so you don't need to feel uncomfortable having a man.

The wait time usually is short the majority of the time. They also have extensive staff speaking almost any language needed, Such as Mandarin, Arabic, Hebrew, Spanish, French, Chinese etc.

It is my first time to write negative review on Yelp. I was planning to do an ultrasonic exam at Main Street Radiology, after sending over my insurance information and made the reservation, the front desk confirmed that the exam will be covered by my insurance. So I just went in for a 5 minutes ultrasonic diagnostic, and after 2 weeks, I got a $800 bill, get the feedback from my insurance company I have to pay for the full amount because there is a deducible in my policy. 2 things I want to mention: 1.

I did ask if the insurance will cover my expense before I proceed, the front desk confirmed that(I highly doubt their never bother to check for the insurance info). 2. Not a word about the deductible or anything regarding the exam expense was mentioned by these guys during the whole process. I call the customer service, but the only answer is they will send the message to their supervisor. This is really an unprofessional way to treat your patient. It is really a awful experience with Main Street Radiology.

I think this was the best experience I've ever had in one of these places. I'm here on a Saturday morning, there aren't so many people here (a lot of space and seating!), the staff is nice (and they actually seem happy, what a relief!), and the place is clean & well kept. I should note that I was only in L1 (the basement). I can't speak for the other departments here.

I had an ultrasound done, and they've got a gel-heater, which makes its application to one's belly much more comfortable. I had to take off my shirt for a chest xray (because of a graphic on the front that could interfere with the results), and they've got some nice, wooden lockers in which you can keep your belongings during the test. My wife was upstairs, and she adds that it's the same experience than it is downstairs, pro and friendly staff, clean, and fast service.
