I've been coming to Dr. Sondra Kapnadak for all 3 of my pregnancies and she is an absolutely wonderful Doctor! She delivered my first child who is now 6.5 years old. I'll never forget when my daughter was breech and she was able to turn her head down so I could have a normal vaginal birth avoiding a c-section just weeks before I was due. Dr. kapnadak always answers my questions fully and I feel very fortunate to have found such a personable and knowledgeable Dr. for my ob/gyn needs. Highly recommend!

I've had great experiences with all 3 of my kiddos from the midwife team to the OB staff. Dr. Kapnadak was my primary OB during the last pregnancy and she ensured that our cord blood was donated for transplant, a cause very important to us. I felt she listened to me during the pregnancy, then when the decision was made to induce, and afterwards with postpartum follow-up. Her medical assistant is very efficient and always responded promptly with paperwork requests. Overall, such a great practice! Highly recommend!

I have been seeing Dr Thomas for a number of years and have always been very impressed with the level of care and time that she has spent with me. She has helped me during my peri menopause journey into menopause and is very attentive and easy to talk. She has readily given me options to make this transition easier and I am very thankful to her and Molly (her nurse practitioner) for all that they have done for me! I highly recommend Dr Thomas and the Seattle OB/GYN Group

Dr. Walton was amazing. I definitely avoided going to the gynecologist for a few years after a bad experience with a former provider. But Dr. Walton provided the best exam I've ever had. I felt heard, respected and safe. Seriously, a great practice and would recommend to anyone.

I'm currently about 7 weeks postpartum with my son and the care I received from Seattle OBGYN group was nothing short of fantastic! I originally chose Seattle OBGYN group as I LOVED the fact that it was an all women physician practice. There is something so special about being surrounded by intelligent women and feminine energy and I can't put into words how amazing my experience was.

I opted to see both Dr. Walton and Dr. Kimelman as a part of their shared practice and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the two of them. Both physicians are incredibly professional, warm, personable and overall incredible at what they do. Throughout my pregnancy, as well as postpartum, I have felt so well cared for, comfortable and heard, which is all you can ask for when receiving medical treatment.

I genuinely have so much love and respect for the two of them and I am so eternally grateful for their care for both myself and my son. I would also love to leave a huge thank you for Dr. Droz who was the physician on call that ultimately delivered my son. She was so professional, kind and encouraging and made my delivery as smooth as possible- I will never forget the experience.

As for the rest of the staff, from the nurses and medical assistants (a special shout-out to Noemi who took amazing care of me), to the front desk staff - everyone is absolutely amazing and personable. Whoever is on the hiring team is doing an amazing job! Thank you to all the amazing women I worked with throughout my pregnancy. You made the experience so special for me. I 10000/10 recommend Seattle OBGYN Group!

Seattle OBGYN is the best! I had Dr. Koala and the entire experience was amazing. She made me feel so comfortable the entire time, listened to what I needed, answered any questions I had and always made me feel at ease. With it being my first pregnancy, I was very anxious and nervous about everything, but she was so calming and always made me feel great!

Highly recommend her and this office as everyone I met with and worked with was wonderful. The birth and delivery was also great and I got lucky to have Dr. Koala deliver my boy, it was a really great experience and they listened to what I wanted and guided me to do everything that was best for me and my baby!

So grateful I landed in the care of the team at Seattle OBGYN. I switched from Seattle midwifery early on after some care gone wrong, lots of missed communication and just feeling like the care wasn't up to the level we were expecting. The entire team at Seattle OBGYN is fantastic. Dr. Thomas was our Dr. she was patient, knowledgeable, took her time with us, never made us feel rushed, was always on time, provided great care and advice and made me feel extremely comfortable with my entire labor and delivery process.

I was scheduled for a c section 4/13 higher risk and repeat c-section, but ended up going to Triage to be checked Friday 4/1 with some abdominal pain and consistent contractions - Dr. Kimmelman was the on call doctor her prognosis was that it was time to have the baby - he was healthy, I was healthy, we were full term and leaving left more risk than staying and welcoming our baby just few weeks sooner than expected.

She was incredible, awesome surgeon, really compassionate person - her team worked hard to help keep me at ease. I felt safe, loved the anesthesiologist and team in OR - My incision was perfect, my healing has been wonderful and I attribute all of this to the excellence in care provided by Seattle OBGYN. Oh, and let me not forget Molly, Dr. Thomas' nurse - she was great as well! Thank you to all of you who helped us welcome our darling Luca into the world on 4/2, he's a delight, we are so so grateful!

I am so pleased to have Seattle OB/GYN group for my first baby! Dr. Kimelman and Dr. Walton are the best. The doctors, nurses, and staffs are super nice and friendly, and deliver professional services during each routine checkups. And it was so heartwarming to receive phone calls from Dr. Walton asking my feelings during the last several days of my pregnancy.

Also very fortunate to have Dr. Kimelman as on-call doctor during birth. Can't say how lucky I am to receive care here! Recommend to anyone who want professional OB/GYN services.

It gives me great pleasure to provide a five star rating for Dr. Thomas, Molly and the incredible team at Seattle OBGYN. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Thomas and Molly. Dr. Thomas listened to all of my anxieties and always answered my questions with compassion. Her gentle touch and clear intellect instilled me with complete confidence from my first appointment at nine weeks pregnant to my planned c-section.

She was a total rockstar in the OR and I attribute my fast recovery to her personalized touch. Finally, Molly is an absolute gem. She always greeted my husband and I with such warmth and compassion. I remain incredibly grateful for them both and will be returning for all of my follow-up OBGYN care.

I was able to have a successful VBAC with Dr. Thomas as my doctor. I was extremely nervous about being able to have a successful delivery after having a traumatizing c-section experience with my first. Dr. Thomas was rational and knowledgable when addressing my questions and concerns, while still being emotionally supportive and thoughtful. I felt very supported in having my preferences for the delivery honored. I am very, very grateful for my positive birth experience with her.

I went to this place because it had great reviews. Unfortunately, I think they have way more patients than they can handle and that really ruined my experience with them. My first appointment was amazing. They ordered blood draws and I had no issues getting in. To start, every time I called in, they asked when the first day of my last period was. If they pulled up my file, they'd see that I have no idea and I did blood tests to confirm how far along I was.

They still bothered to ask if I was actually pregnant after telling them I did blood draws to confirm. Then when I told them I needed an appointment asap to check for down syndrome, they couldn't bother squeezing me in even though I told them how far along I was (this test has to be done within 14 weeks). The appointment I needed was just to get a referral for the blood draws for the test.

It would take 5 minutes max. Super disappointed in my experience and I transferred care to a facility that has taken way better care of me so far. The new facility at least told me my due date.

Dr Sondra Kapnadak is amazing, I highly recommend her to everyone. She took exceptional care of me from pregnancy to delivery, promptly answered all my questions and safely delivered my baby via a planned c section. Thank you so much Dr Kapnadak, we will miss seeing you!

So i wrote a previous review, just being a patient needing only gynecological care. Now i get to write one for someone who has been pregnant and had a baby with this group! I had my son mid pandemic, so it was definitely a different experience, but despite all of that I loved coming here. The staff are on top of keeping things clean and keeping patients safe!

As a first time pregnant woman, i had a lot of concerns, and being pregnant during a pandemic can give you quite a bit of anxiety. I saw Dr. Mckeever and she was nothing short of terrific. She's someone that truly listens, and offers options that best fit your needs. I left each appointment feeling excited for the next. I ended up being delivered by Dr. Kimelman, and she was fantastic! she was so calm and collected while I was in quite a bit of pain, and made my first birth experience perfect.

I felt very well taken care of, and she really motivated me during labor! I even had a visit from Dr. Koala the day after just to say hi and check in. What an absolute sweetheart : If you want quality care from a team of women who go above and beyond, this is the group to go to. Any provider here will treat you with a high level of care.

Found this place off of Google! New to Seattle and wanted to get a few things checked out. The front desk staff are very nice and helpful! A little disappointed that my testing had to be done outside of my visit (aka at Labcorp a few floors down). My appointment ran late and I missed the chance to have my bloodwork done. I've never had to do that at my old OBGYN - as they always took my blood on-site. My Doctor was nice, but I just don't think we hit it off and will probably have to go somewhere else moving forward or see if I can have another one

I had a wonderful experience with Seattle OBGYN. It's an all female team and they are the best . I can't say enough good things about Dr Joelle Thomas and her nurse Molly- they took very good care of me when I was pregnant with my first child. The health care is very good and the personal touch and friendly attitude of the team makes the place a 5 star clinic. Ladies, don't hesitate to go there.

Seattle OB/GYN is always great. Caring staff, excellent care. Almost always on time, even in afternoons, which is fabulous. Great at GYN care as well as OB (Drs Koala and Foltz delivered my kids).

I received care from both Dr. Kimelman and Dr. Walton (and their nurse Noemi!) - my experience was exceptional from pregnancy confirmation to birth and now into postpartum! They always listened to my questions and concerns during each appointment and provided the best guidance, gave me researched advice re: COVID vaccination during pregnancy, promptly answered my questions sent via their medical portal, and I always felt that I was being given the best care. Dr. Thomas was on call when I delivered my baby and she was fantastic as well.

I am impressed by the focus that the group has on women's mental / emotional health, especially post-pregnancy. I feel so grateful to have had the best support all throughout my pregnancy and beyond - I can't recommend this group enough! Love them!

I am so happy to have found this practice! From the nice women at the desk to the doctors' assistants, everyone is always very friendly and professional. Moreover, I just adore Dr. McKeever! She is the kindest, most personable, and most empathetic doctor. I used to dread going to my obgyn appointments, but now that Dr. McKeever is my provider I look forward to seeing her and my appointments are no longer stressful! Thank you!

All the positive experiences with my care and birth. As a nurse, I was nervous about being a patient for the first time. I felt very comfortable with everything that happened. I feel so grateful that my baby decided to come after Dr. Thomas had seen her last patient of the day and was able to deliver me. I would have been happy with anyone delivering me there but it felt extra special to have my primary doctor be on shift when I was at the end of my labor. Highly recommend this practice and Dr. Thomas. I'll be back again!

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Seattle OBGYN. I had originally been with another local doctor but wanted a more personable relationship with someone that instilled trust (after all, this doctor was going to deliver my first baby!). After doing research online, I made the switch to Seattle OBGYN and opted to go with the shared practice of Judith Kimelman and Anna Walton.

This was the best decision of my life. After seeing both doctors, I was completely impressed by how relatable they were. I knew I was in good hands. Lab results were reported with detail and urgency. Having been my first pregnancy, I was keen to know everything going on with my baby and wasn't sure what to expect. I was so thankful that both doctors took the time to explain all details to me every step of the way.

My baby was unexpectedly delivered one month early and I had a great experience delivering via C-Section with Dr. Walton. A few days later, I began to have unexpected back pain, bruising and swelling. After a quick phone call to Seattle OBGYN, they prioritized me for a follow appointment. For this visit, I saw Dr. Walton and couldn't be more grateful with how serious she took my symptoms.

I was immediately directed to get lab work done and later that evening, she called and informed me I needed to return to the hospital. I am so thankful she reviewed my lab results with urgency (we are talking just hours after submitting my bloodwork). It turns out I had severe complications with preeclampsia. I was quickly admitted to the hospital and eventually the ICU before I fully recovered.

Along the way, Dr. Kimelman/Dr. Walton kept my husband updated on the status of my condition and next steps for me to make a full recovery. Most of the time, my husband was not able to be in the hospital with me so they went out of their way to call him daily with my status. My husband, who was now juggling a new baby and a wife in the ICU, could not be more grateful for the professionalism and kindness of Dr. Kimelman/Dr. Walton.

It is thanks to them that I made a full recovery. I can't express how grateful I am. I literally owe them my life. The best decision I made was choosing them to take care of my pregnancy. They are incredible and your experience with them will be too. If you are looking for doctors who will provide you high quality care and an amazing pregnancy journey, Dr. Kimelman/Dr. Walton should be your choice.

A year ago, when my husband and I decided to plan a baby, I found this clinic and chose my doctor to be Dr. Luba Foltz from Seattle OB/GYN Group. Since then, she and her team gave me the best care and helped me before and during pregnancy, as well as childbirth and postpartum. All my questions were answered in timely manner and all the care was given regularly and whenever something would seem out of sorts (even a little).

She personally was there when I went to the hospital, did check up on me couple of times while I was there, and she delivered my baby herself when it was time and I cannot be thankful of her professionalism and care. It was an experience that is not at all scary to tell others about, and as a result, we got a healthy baby and a minimum recovery time for myself.

I definitely recommend her in case you are preparing to have a baby or need help in doing so or in general if you need care. Also, in addition, Dr. Foltz speaks Russian as well and so all Russian speaking patients can benefit from that in case they prefer Russian instead. Overall, I am happy I chose Seattle OB/GYN and most importantly Dr. Luba Foltz.

I am a post menopausal woman that thought my gyn days were over. I was wrong. I met with Dr Koala for an issue. She was amazing, compassionate and just so caring. I ended up needing a hysterectomy and met Dr Thomas. She was equally compassionate and caring. I immediately felt at ease and cared for. I cannot express how much I would recommend this practice for any OB GYN issues. They are an all women group.

I have been going to Seattle OBGYN Group since before my 13 year old son was born and loved, loved, loved my doctor! That doctor left two years ago for personal reasons so I had to find a new doctor at the practice. Yesterday I saw Dr. Koala for the first time and she was absolutely amazing.spent time with me, took my concerns seriously and compassionately, provided me with options and allowed me to choose to move forward at my own pace. I had a really great experience. If you are in need of finding a new doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Koala!

Doctor Kapnadak and Registered Nurse, Michelle are a dream team. I just had my first child 7 weeks ago and as I reflect on my experience with my care I only have positive things to say. Dr Kapnadak is calm, confident, and extremely knowledgeable. She has great bedside manner and makes you feel at ease during your appointments. I actually enjoyed going to my doctor appointments throughout my pregnancy. Michelle, the lovely RN was delightful as well - we shared laughter and our favorite places to get bubble tea in Seattle. The office itself is clean and well managed. You ladies are amazing. Keep it up! Looking forward to my annual exam, now who the hell actually says that :

Dr Foltz came highly recommended by some discerning women I trust so I was delighted when she was able to accept me. She didn't disappoint. She balances IQ with EQ perfectly, mixing compassion with giving you the data you need to make informed decisions. Her team is responsive and anticipate patient needs well. Could not be more pleased with my care.

I've had two babies with Seattle OB/gyn and wonderful experiences with the midwifery team, particularly with Erica Wikan and Sarah Chandler. The five stars are for them. Landing with the midwifery team was a bit of a beautiful fluke, however, because I was initially on Dr. Koala's schedule. After being referred from Seattle Reproductive Medicine a few floors up (that experience was terrible and unnecessary, turns out, since my problem was that I had been on oral birth control for 15 years and never given my body a chance to regulate my cycle.

No one there would listen to me, especially when I got pregnant on my own). Anyway, Dr. Koala was terrible. At my first appointment after confirming my pregnancy, which I should have forced my husband to attend, she told me my pants were tight. She then proceeded to tell me I had gained 5 pounds since confirming the pregnancy a few weeks prior. I asked if that was normal.

She told me to "lay off the carbs" and told me a story about a cousin who gained 60 pounds in her first pregnancy. I felt so gross after the encounter that I called the next day and asked if ANYONE else had room for me. The receptionist was so kind and got me on board with the midwifery team. Thank GOD for her. When I delivered our son, he had to be vacuumed out and thankfully Dr. McKeever was the person on call.

She was calm and kind, just as I knew she would be. So, thank you to Dr. McKeever, CNMs Sarah and Erika and all their teams. To Dr. Koala, I hope our interaction was a fluke and you treat your other patients with a more thoughtful bedside manner.

I went to Seattle OB/gyn for my recent (high risk) pregnancy. Dr. Koala was my regular OB and Dr. Mast-Drolet ended up delivering the baby. I was very pleased with my experience there. The staff were consistently kind and attentive. The doctors I worked with (I saw several during my many prenatal visits) all had an excellent bedside manner as well as being up to date on current medical knowledge. Dr. Koala took my preferences into account when making decisions, which I appreciated.

When I ended up needing an emergency procedure due to postpartum hemorhage, Dr. Mast-Drolet was extremely calm, competent, and efficient, so I wasn't afraid because I knew I was in good hands. I would definitely use Seattle OB/gyn again, they really were fantastic!

Dr. Daniel was an amazing doctor but she unfortunately retired. I've been trying for over a YEAR now to schedule a simple annual appointment. I'm 39 years old and it's important. The new doctor has canceled my scheduled appointments last minute twice now -- and when I call to reschedule, the first available is always 4-5 months later.

This week I get a letter in the mail again canceling and when I called to reschedule, the scheduler on the phone is absolutely RUDE and does not want to hear my frustrations on this -- literally makes it about her and her being respected instead of listening. I missed the entire year of 2019 having a simple annual exam due 100% to their scheduling issues. The office is awful to deal with and absolutely not worth the hassle. Go somewhere else that knows how to treat their patients with respect.

I'm so happy I found this amazing group of healthcare professionals. Dr. Kimelman is my doctor and Noemi is the nurse /pa who works with her. I've had nothing but exceptional treatment every time I've visited these caring women. Once I became pregnant, I knew I needed a really compassionate group. I'm so lucky that my sister recommended Seattle OBGYN to me - they delivered her kids about 20 years ago and they're still providing great service decades later. I'm not a person who's ever had a surgery or really liked visiting the doctor much.

The experience I've had at Seattle OBGYN has been as good as it can be! Each prenatal care visit I had felt comforting and personal, never rushed or like I was just a number. Dr. Kimelman performed a cesarean birth for me, something that was unplanned when I went to the hospital. I was nervous for the surgery but she made it as easy and compassionate of an experience as I could have hoped for.

Everyone who's seen my small incision scar says it looks fantastic, and I'm excited to see what it looks like as time goes on. Today, at about 14 weeks post partum, I saw my favorite medical team to get my IUD, a procedure I was dreading. Noemi put my mind at ease and Dr. Kimelman again made the procedure educational and as easy as possible.

I still don't like going to the doctor, that will probably never change. But if I have to get care, I feel fortunate that this amazing team is there for me to take me through the most important moments of life. As I sit here looking at my sweet baby, I get a tear of gratitude for the exceptional care I've had in getting him here. Thank you Dr. Kimelman and Noemi!

This is the most caring and precessional place I have ever received care. I've been coming to Seattle OBGYN Group for over 15 years. Everyone from reception, to nurse practitioners, to nurses, billing, and doctors have been amazing - and I've had the gamut of experiences, including 2 traumatic miscarriages which were handled with extreme kindness and sensitivity.

The staff are consistently keeping my complete health in mind and focus on a wholestic approach to care. I usually see Dr. Foltz and her regular nurse Cindy, but am confident seeing any provider here.

I went through Seattle OBGYN with both of my pregnancies with Dr. Kapnadak. Every single person I interacted with, from the doctors to the front desk are absolutely lovely. There is something to be said about wanting to be friends with everyone in a doctors office! I ended up seeing multiple doctors for birth as my son was a long labor and my daughter was a month early.

Despite my regular doctor not being there I was at ease, comfortable and cared for throughout the whole process. I really like how they look out for each other's patients, and communicate with each other. Even when I called in with questions or concerns, there was clear and thoughtful follow up. I also always appreciated how they always asked about me, and my family, remembering everyone's name and details I had mentioned before. I recommend Seattle OBGYN to everyone who is pregnant or needing related services.

I've been a patient at Seattle OB/GYN since I was 16 years old (I'm 27 now). The staff at this facility are excellent and I have had 11 years of thoughtful, attentive, empirically-based care. I have had so much confidence and comfort in this practice that I actually moved to Portland six years ago and still come back here for all my gynecological care.

The front desk staff are friendly and helpful and I am almost always called back within 10 minutes of my appointment time. The one time there was a billing issue (on the part of my insurance) the support staff advocated for me with my insurance company and solved the issue without me having to pay an extra cent. Dr. Luba Foltz is my primary physician here and she is beyond words.

I actually tried to find an equally good OB/GYN when I moved to Portland, and didn't find one that came anywhere close to her (hence my yearly drives to visit). From when I was 16 to now, she has been knowledgeable, non-judgmental, kind, funny, warm, and just a remarkably skilled doctor. When I call her with a question or concern she or her wonderful assistant gets back to me promptly and with a warm and positive attitude.

I recommend this practice frequently and I've heard nothing but good things from those I've referred. To sum up, it's hard to look forward to a trip to the gynecologist, but I actually do (?!). If that's not a testament to this place I don't know what is.

One particular experience I had here was just above and beyond and perfectly exemplifies why this practice stands above the rest. Last year for two nights in a row I was awakened by sharp one-sided abdominal pains. I'd already had my appendix removed, so that was easy to rule out. My choices were either to make a same-day appointment at my GYN's office or go to urgent care.

Mind you, this is a busy practice and I wasn't sure they were going to be able to get me in, but I called and they did so without question. Dr. Mckeever worked me into her schedule and did an ultrasound on me in the office. Sure enough just normal benign ovulatory cysts - no big deal. I left feeling so reassured and well taken care of. Not to mention that it saved me the cost of an urgent care visit. Everyone, from the front desk staff, to the MAs and nurses, nurse practitioners and PAs, and the doctors, demonstrates a high level of commitment for their patients.

This is all to say that this group right here is gold. I'm, of course, partial to Dr. Mckeever, but you really cannot go wrong in your choice for a kind and compassionate provider.

I have hesitated to say anything for fear of compromising my care and they have absolutely no way to provide feedback. I do hope they see this and take my comments into consideration. I had a uterine biopsy done at the recommendation of my physician and was told repeatedly it would not hurt at all except for some minor cramping. During the procedure, I felt such intense radiating pain that I screamed involuntarily - I've had some serious injuries and this was well beyond my threshold because someone was literally scraping my insides.

When I told the doctor it hurt and to please hurry, she again reiterated that it was just a cramp and I was imagining it. I cannot express how violating it was to have my pain dismissed, especially by another woman. I have a history of sexual assault and have been told something very similar under very different circumstances - to not be taken seriously as a woman is one thing, but the lack of trauma informed care was downright appalling.

To top off this experience, they inserted an IUD afterwards but didn't trim the strings, like at all. I asked if them touching my external genitalia was normal and they again reassured me. I was too shaken from the entire experience so I walked out with the strings scraping me. The next day I called and explained the situation - they denied that it was possible for the IUD strings to be extending outside of my vagina.

I insisted on an appointment anyway and was able to see a nurse practitioner that day after a bit of a back and forth. I'll never forget the nurse audibly gasping, saying "oh wow", and having to figure out how to get the speculum in without shoving the strings in (she basically had to thread a needle, if you need a visual). The kicker is they charged me for this appointment, when they were negligent to begin with.

This happened over two years ago and I haven't visited a gynecologist again because of how traumatizing it was. Please, if you read this - I know I am just one person but this experience has really damaged my trust in getting the care I need for my condition. It is not okay for patients to feel scared, violated, and unheard. I don't want to be further dismissed with something tidy like being dramatic - we do that enough to fellow women in many different fields (would you tell a man he's being dramatic or imagining something?) and we need to start validating our experiences for each other regardless of our own perception(s). From one woman to a practice of many: we all deserve better.

After being a patient here for 15 years, I have chosen to leave and look elsewhere. Absolutely no compassion from the midwife Lucia, very unprofessional when I was going through a tough pregnancy/ miscarriage (didn't know it at the time). I was getting sent to take tests and ultrasounds with absolutely no answers given to me. She led me to believe that my baby was fine, but wanted me to come back a week later to check the measurements, but also advised me not to tell anyone I was pregnant yet.

I was very nervous and anxious during my entire visit, which made my heart rate go up. Lucia told me I should invest in a stethoscope to practice on at home before I go to the doctors office in the future. I was anxious because of them! While listening to my heart she asked me "has anyone ever told you you have a heart murmur?" Umm NO! Then she sent me to a cardiologist, who after checking my heart, said I was perfectly fine and its just the babies heartbeat beating with mine. Lucia is an idiot.

All she cared about was CYA. (Cover your ass). Mind you this was all happening while I as in limbo waiting to take another ultrasound to determine my babies due date. When I complained to my Dr about the midwife, she brushed me off and didn't want to hear it. I was shocked since I was her patient for over 15 years! I have gone through two miscarriages in the last two years.

The first time, I thought my hormones were the reason I felt so awful leaving the drs office after every visit. But the second time around was much worse. I wish I had left sooner. Lucia failed to tell me when she prescribed me the miscarriage pills, I would have to put 4 up my vagina, and experience the worst cramps of my life for 5 hours. I had to have the male pharmacist inform me.

How nice would that be ladies? I also felt criticized for telling my Dr I was going to be a stay at home mom, because as she presumed to tell me, women can still work and have kids, then asked me if my husband was forcing me to stay home? I should also mention that when I was a teenager and saw my dr for the first time, she told me I was her youngest patient.

Why do I need to know that? Seems a bit odd she would mention this to me. After my AWFUL experience with the midwife and zero compassion from my Dr made it very easy to leave this time. I would not advise first time mothers to go here.

Co-signing the other women who called this place a baby factory. If you are a first-time mom who needs a little more attention and care because something new and different is happening to your body, this is definitely not the place for you. I heard nothing but praise for this practice before becoming a patient when we moved to Seattle in 2015. I knew we were planning to try for a baby in the next year, so I put a lot of thought into picking my OB.

I really thought Dr. Droz was going to be it-- at my first well woman visit she was so caring and patient, and I was looking forward to seeing her once I got pregnant. Every single visit I had, from my first appointment at 8 weeks to my last at 39 weeks, was rushed. Dr. Droz always seemed to be in a hurry, only gave one sentence answers to all of our questions, and her mind always seemed to be elsewhere.

When I developed sciatica she tossed me a prescription for PT and a massage (which my insurance didn't cover), never offered any suggestions to help resolve it. The day after I gave birth Dr. Droz came into my room at 7am after I hadn't slept all night, asked me if I had any questions and was gone in under five minutes. Never explained the tearing I experienced, never gave me any advice for follow-up care.

I was too exhausted to ask these questions myself. At my six-week visit I was also rushed in and out, and told to come back if I was still in pain. Between the birth of my daughter and my follow up visit I never got a single call or email from them-- my child's pediatrician cared more about how I was doing than my own OB did. The whole practice always felt like a big assembly line to me, which is definitely at odds with all the praise I heard about them before becoming a patient. They do the bare minimum required and nothing more. I will be finding a different provider for my next pregnancy.
