This is the most unprofessional hospital I have ever experienced. They have no respect for privacy or quality of care! They have unqualified staff making diagnosis that they don't understand themselves. I was told by 2 different staff that they were treating based on their own diagnosis but then also said they were not equipped to handle this type of care?!?!

If that doesn't concern you then I don't know what would. I understand this is a small town hospital but they need to act like one! It might not be your child that needs help but imagine how you would feel if it was! Shame on you! You know who you are!

I believe that I may have torn tendon in my finger and have been here for five hours and still have not seen a doctor. They took my money and some X-Rays hours ago. However I have no idea what's going on. The staff is totally unconcerned. Not many folks here but they seem understaffed. No other options locally. Lots a great reasons to visit and live in Havre. Unfortunately, medical care isn't one of them.

My friend who brought me here 5 hours ago needs to work in the morning and I am left with a choices. Leaving without diagnosis or treatment so he can go to work or staying and keeping him up all night so I can get my finger fixed. Two doctors in the hall arguing over who ate last. My whole family is in the medical field and this is the worst service I have ever had in a medical facility. Including hospitals in Mexico, Venezuela, and pre-Glasnost Poland

Completely inadequate care. Northern Montana Hospital in Havre Montana. Is the worst Medical facility I seen period. My grandson has his finger cut off and they didn't have enough sence to ice it. We had to ask. You can clearly see there ER staff talking to each other as if there's nothing wrong. I pray to the Lord nothing serious happens with the type of staff working here. Incompetent people with no care in the world for doing there job.

No assessment has been made to any of the patients waiting. the registration person was completely clueless as to what should be done.we had to ask for ice to be placed on the finger.

Went in emergently. Gave them my insurance card. Ended up getting admitted for 3 days. Wasn't told until after admit and treatment they didn't accept my insurance. Why in the heck would they not tell me at check in. For 6 months while dealing with billing, was told over and over they would take care of it and not to worry. Here I am a year later and they are now sending me to collections. They have some serious communication issues. Why wouldn't they have told me upfront. I would have gone to another hospital.

I took my mom to the ER and the doctors and nurse were of the very best! They replaced her cast and they were so good to my mom and very caring and professional! Thank you!

Went in to the er was checked in at 1:26 nurse left me in a room at 1:42 at 2:42 I still hadn't seen the doctor. The nurse never came back in to check on me or inform me it would be a few more minutes. After sitting there and still not receiving care I walked out at 1:42. On my way out the nurse ask why and I informed her it had been an hour since she left the room and I still had not seen the doctor.

She stated something (I could hear or make out what she stated). I told them to have a good day and left. This hospital is ridiculous as all the nurses where sitting at the desk and there was not very many patients.

The only good thing about Northern is probably Physicians assistant Anita Kellam. Let's Hope she stays. Usually all the ones that are good or have potential go. Seriously: I've personally, been marred by them surgically and their notes ( the doctors ) are a bit redundant and unnecessary ( I've seen this in other medical records too) They pay very little attention to their patients.

The ER is included in this. You're screwed if you get Parham if you need the ER. I've had three people I've known either die or have a sustainable injury that could have been prevented and mitigated and they didn't listen or catch it. Broken necks, Torn ligaments, to sepsis. They tend to treat their patients as cattle, or an assembly line.

Good luck, if you have any serious pain or injuries that cause severe pain or anxiety because automatically they assume that you are seeking a narcotics. Anyways, Kellams is Wonderful. I'm sure one or two are okay there. But people, go to Benifis if you can. Or see Kellam if possible.

I've end up in this ER twice and I have physical therapy here. Both places I was/am treated very well and am always happy when I leave. It's a better hospital than some I've been in.

My experience with Dr. Daniel Sparks was absolutely first rate in every respect! He's genuinely compassionate and spent far more time with me than I expected for such a busy man. Northern Montana Hospital should be proud to have such a gifted surgeon on board. He's a terrific asset to the community.
