This Hospital is very professional. Excellent staff members at every level. I had a total knee replacement here and was treated like royalty. Dr. Ben Panter and his PA Stephen Isernhagen are of the highest quality. I highly recommend them for any orthopaedic issues.

Did something to my shoulder yesterday, and went to the McBride ER. $300 later they tell me to put ice on it, take some naproxen and go see a doctor. They naturally wanted me to go to one of their doctors, but I did not. Went to a reputable doctor in Norman, and they are pretty sure I have completely torn my rotator cuff. Do not waste your time going to this ER.

Had to go to the er tonight due to complications from a tib/fib fracture I sustained while I was in Texas last week. Went in, was greeted by the receptionist, was taken back to a room within 20 minutes. The nursing staff and xray tech were so friendly and genuinely seemed to care about me, my concerns, and how much pain I was in. Dr Geha was amazing as well. Listened to my concerns, really wanted what was best for me. Ordered my tests, treated my pain in a timely fashion, explained everything and answered any questions I had. Got me set up with a surgeon, and explained the treatment plan for the upcoming weeks. Gave me prescriptions I needed to get me through till I could meet with the surgeon who will be completing the treatments I need. Just an overall great experience. Thank you to the hospital, Dr, and all the staff involved.

The front desk, nurse, Xray tech and provider get 5 stars. The facility 2 or less! I had already been to another ER 2 days prior and that ER doc told me that if I was not better I needed an MRI. I called McBride ER at 3 am, as I had a severe surge in my pain and it was unbearable. Was told on the phone if I came in at 3am, they would have had to call a tech in to do my scan but if I wanted till 6:30 am they would have a tech there.

So I waited till the morning and went in As I was advised. They took me back then provider advised me that they STILL had to call someone in to do a scan AND that even then he was only allowed to do a CT, not the MRI which I was told I needed. So. Basically the ER visit was a complete waste of my time and money as I didn't even get the MRI of my leg which is the ONLY REASON I CAME THERE in the first place!

I let them do a CT as I had already been seen and would get a bill I might as well get something evaluated. So this is an orthopedic ER and the doctors can't even order an MRI when warranted!? Absolutely ridiculous! I have referred to this orthopedic ER for years, but after my experience I will send people elsewhere. Now I have to get ANOTHER appointment with another orthopedist to get an MRI ordered. Incredibly frustrating.

Didn't even go there. Just called & asked the nurse a simple question & she was rude like it was a bother to her.

Dr. Shreve did a great job fixing my hand. The caring nature of everyone involved has made this a pleasant experience. The excellent quality of care has been a blessing. Thank you .

What a nightmare trying to schedule an appointment. I tore my Achilles and they wanted me to go to the hospital and pick up a disc of the sonogram, even though I had an obvious torn Achilles. I begged them to let me make an appointment and they refused. Don't waste time here

Kudos to the staff for being very professional and nice to my daughter with her broken arm. And to the woman manning the door for making sure that every person followed the guidelines while not letting people slip by. Even me. Thank you for protecting us during this pandemic.

Every staff member was very friendly from admissions to housekeeping. They promptly got me scheduled and I had a good experience with my surgery and overnight stay. Dr. Rush was great. My overnight RN Kayla was awesome! I wish I could remember the name of my tech but she was such a sweet heart. My day RN, Stella who did my discharge was great. When I called with a concern after discharge, the RN I spoke with was polite and answered my questions.

I was impressed that the house supervisor called me soon after to follow up and make sure my questions were answered! Food was actually pretty good and came quickly. On site pharmacy is convenient. I also like that the hospital, clinic, and physical therapy are all in 1 convenient location with valet.

Mom had surgery here. Only complaint was the hospital bed was so uncomfortable. Wouldn't be a problem except you have to lay there immobile for 3 hours before surgery and she was in agony with her back. The facilities are nice and people were friendly enough. Clean bathrooms.

I had back surgery at McBride a few months ago. My husband and I (as well as my visitors) were very impressed with the hospital and staff. From the surgery to the 2 nights I stayed afterwards, everyone was very accommodating. I would recommend McBride to anyone!

51 years old, knees beginning to kill me! I saw Dr. German yesterday for my first knee steroid injection due to no cartilage, bone spurs developing and pressing on nerves in my knee. The McBride Orthopedic Hospital was recommended to me by my life long neighbor. She recently had both knees replaced successfully here with Dr. German and is super happy.

It was a wonderfully inviting office with tons of reference photos on the walls along with the doctor's accreditations. I was not only satisfied with my first service but am now looking forward to treatments and replacement with Dr. German and McBride Orthopedic Hospital.

One of the worst ortho facilities I have been to in 30 plus years. no doctor on site. staffed by an incompetent PA. his assessment lasted 8 seconds. mumble a few words and walked out the room. how do you assess an injury in literally 8 seconds. comes back and says I didn't see anything. my question is did you even look.patient says on a scale of 1-10 how painful is the injury he says an "8" after taking Motrin and you're response on treatment of his pain is nothing.

I like the new offices for Dr McBride, this section of the facility seems new too. It seems they are trying to make things easier for patients by co-locating and providing several services in the same area. I noticed a DLO Lab here, MRI capabilities, physical therapy, the hospital, and the doctors are all located in one location. Staff seem courteous and even gave my hubby an appointment that someone else had cancelled so he could be seen earlier.

They even pride complimentary coffee in their roomy waiting area. Wait time for the office doesn't seem bad either. Also, appreciate the professional atmosphere here, unlike the meat market feeling experienced at other Dr. offices. We like having all our questions/concerns heard and answered fully, in manner that is understandable and respected. Many thanks to Dr. Pascale and Brian.

I have been going to two different doctors at McBride for approximately 8 to 10 years. Today I was refused treatment because I needed to pay in cash. This is ridiculous. The staff were very rude which is fairly normal for them.

Was scheduled for surgery. They called and told me I had to pay the whole amount up front or no surgery. Not having the surgery now. This goes against their hospital statement.

I have been going to McBrides for approximately ten years for my RA. Dr. Arthur is my doctor. I am very pleased with my treatment. Dr. Arthur is very knowledgeable and experienced. He is not a physician that is in to see you for a few minutes and then on to the next patient. He answers your questions, explains your condition, and gives you the best options for your treatment.

I have also had a total knee replacement at McBrides. Dr. Pascal was my Physician. I am very pleased with my new knee and highly recommend Dr. Pascal as a surgeon. I have never had a bad experience with anyone associated with McBrides.

Other than location, this place is a mess. Nearly every time I call I am hung up on or incorrectly transferred. The other day they told me they couldn't find my records at all! I'm really not looking forward to having my procedure here!

My husband just had his 4th surgery with McBride. He had one at the downtown location, 3 at 9600 Broadway Extension, and has seen physicians at several locations. I love that they moved so much to this one location on the Broadway Extn. It is easy to get to. Our follow-up appointment is scheduled here rather than downtown. YAY. We live in Ponca City so the drive takes a while.

With all of the time we have spent here we only had 2 little glitches that did not affect my husband (the patient) in any way. I am talking minor issues. Everyone has been helpful and knowledgeable about their jobs and have been willing to find out if they didn't have an answer. Sometimes it is a pain to arrive early but you need to look at what plays out behind the scenes of your surgery.

First off they want to know that you are there and that they have time to get you ready. Some folks take more time than others. Sometimes lab has to be does just before surgery and the lab needs draw and run time. If the surgery before you is super fast you do get to go in early if you are ready. Heck ya I don't mind waiting a bit and having a chance that I get to go early!

If the one before you takes longer you unfortunately are all dressed down and have nowhere to go. Darn. As for the assembly line comment someone made on here, I don't see it. Yes, they have ways of doing things. Their processes have been studied and they should have research showing that this is a good way to treat the patients and get good outcomes.

This is the most personalized place we have come for surgery. I have no complaints about the way they pay attention to detail. Anesthesia has just been excellent. They pay attention to the patient's needs. They have adjusted down to lighter anesthesia as the procedure allowed. Nursing staff seem to not be overloaded as you find in some hospitals.

They hustle to you and don't hurry out. The physicians we have been cared for by seem to be at the top of their fields. I tried to find the right surgeons for my husband and I still can't believe how fortunate we are to find people in Oklahoma who listen to you and explain what they see and how they want to fix it. If you leave here with questions it is only because you didn't ask when they asked you if you had questions They give you the options and you get choices.

We follow the preop directions because we want to enjoy the super low infection rate they keep. We follow the postop directions because we want the best possible outcome. They can't do it all but if you pay any attention at all you should look forward to the best possible outcomes. Overall, this is the place for orthopedic care or surgery in Oklahoma as far as I am concerned.

Mother in Law had new knee out in yesterday. Facilities were very nice and doctors were good. Because of construction the parking was difficult. Hope I don't have to go back. Only for surgery

My husband injured his leg on a Friday night and by Saturday morning we knew we needed the ER. We decided McBride was the place to go and we were SO PLEASED with the service and care in the emergency department! Parking was easy and super close to the ER entrance, we were greeted immediately with a smile, the check-in process was quick and my husband was seen within about 15 minutes of our arrival.

We were in and out in less than an hour with a walking cast and excellent education on his specific injury. We could not be happier with the way we were treated and the care my husband received. We would recommend this ER and will not hesitate to use them again if the need arises.

Most of the staff are pretty rude. Was advised to arrive 30 minutes early, but was only 15 minutes early. When calling to let them know, the very rude person that answered made a big deal of the "doctors not liking it when you are late." It took us all of 3 minutes to complete their paperwork, and then we ended up waiting for ten minutes past our actual appointment time to be called back.

The doctor and his nurse and the woman that checked us out were very friendly and helpful. The receptionist and X-ray tech were so rude that I wanted to walk out after dealing with both of them.

My dad just had his second hip replacement here with Dr. Mitchell. The hospital is 100% physician owned, and it shows. The facility is very nice, and I love that it is a safer place to have an orthopedic surgery than a traditional hospital because there are not sick people here, Just people who need new parts. Also, much different from a regular hospital, McBride is small, so parking is easy and you can get in and out very quickly.

The location is convenient and the staff is friendly. It seems like an overall more pleasant experience than having to be at a regular hospital where anyone you might encounter could be facing the worst moment of their lives. Most people here are starting a journey that will improve their quality of life, and as a result it's less somber than what you think of when you think of a hospital. Both of my dad's surgeries went well, the nurses and orderlies were pleasant, and of course, Dr. Mitchell is amazing!

We're frequent visitors of the cafeteria. Food is always good, and the staff is so friendly. Salad bar is a great value too. I can get out of there for around 2 bucks!
