I have nothing good to say about this hospital. other than receiving excellent care from Mitchell he was so patient and wasn't in a hurry to get us in and out like most of the doctors. He was very informative and explained things in a way we could understand on the other hand our nurse Amy was very rude and acted as if she didn't want to be bothered by us

I recently had 2 procedures 3 weeks apart. Both times every staff member I encountered from the registration phone call, nurses, and doctors were very professional and caring. I go to Meadowview for all of my routine care as well and have always had 5 star service! We are fortunate to have this facility in out community!

After waiting for four hours in the waiting room. was finally called back and than received the most disorganized and disrespectful care. Doctor seemed to not have any concern at all and all I really got was judgmental looks and the least empathetic tone. I can honestly say none of the staff truly cared for their patients well being they were just their to get the job done and do the bare minimum. If you have other options I advise you to go somewhere else. I think the 2 star review on this place speaks for itself.

Went to Medowview Er against my better judgement. Hardly saw the Doctor or Nurse and I think they may have had more serious patients so that is understandable. The billing ladies were right there though even getting in the way of x-ray tech.and they came back several times all while I baffled and withered in pain. The told me my estimated cost and if I paid I was entitled to a discount which I did pay.(870.00) Today low and behold I receive a bill for 1209.05.

Now I understand a estimate is just that but if you cannot get closer than that you need a new line of work. I tried to call to ask for an itemized bill but it is impossible to talk to a person. I will not attempt to pay till I get it. I had to go to Harrison County after leaving there, had a scope ran under general anesthesia in the or and that bill was quite a bit lower. Beware people

I received excellent care while admitted on the medical unit. The nurses, medical staff and all healthcare professionals that took care of me were empathetic, caring and knowledgeable. I will certainly seek my medical care at Meadowview for myself and my family again. Great staff!

This place is the worse! My daughter had went to the er several times in severe pain and each time they told her she had acid reflux and sent her home. My daughter was eventually brought in by ambulance and was hemorrhaging from an ulcer. Her blood count was dangerously low and she needed a blood transfusion. They let her lay in that er all day (abt 9 hours) and never brought her blood.

We demanded she be transported to another hospital and finally they got her to St. Elizabeth. She spend 4 days in ICU, 3 blood transfusions and 2 surgical procedures. They saved her life.

Awful. No one in ER except me yet I sit in the lobby for a hour. Staff are nice but not everything is to slow.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Rude and unreasonable staff in the ER. Posting on the door allows 2 visitors per patient, but then told that only 1 person is allowed. And then, when someone's husband wants to swap out with their daughter, forcefully and rudely told that only 1 person per 24 hours, although that is also not posted anywhere! If that's the rule, that's fine, but make sure your information matches across the board. Also, kindness goes a long way.

I've never had an issue here in the ER or more recently the OB level. Fast wait times, doc comes in quick and labs don't take too long. The wait time is typically longer when I am in the maternity ward as most of the time you have to wait for the Primary Plus to close and the doc that's assigned to you to come over. However, there is one nurse specifically that always makes me feel welcomed.

Thank you Katie for always being so nice and heartwarming especially in a world we live in today. I really hope you are there when my baby decides to enter the world so you can meet her.

Went earlier this evening for my elbow. I thought for sure I fractured it but thankfully it was just a contusion. The nurse that worked with me Margaret was outstanding and very polite. She apologized for our wait but really we only waited 5 minutes or so to be called back. The PA which was Christian was very sweet and polite he had xrays done which didnt take very long and then the older guy unfortunately I didnt catch his name that came in and put my sling on and gave me my paperwork was very sweet and polite as well. Whenever I have to go here I really hope this is the crew that I get again. They were amazing!

I went there to get stitches in my finger. Possibly broken and cut extremely bad from a crush injury on Friday. It's now Sunday. And both of my stitches have came out. They only did two stitches when they should have done 3. Now I have none because both of them came out.

I know the hospital doesn't often hear good feedback, so I wanted to provide you with some. I can't say enough how appreciative I was of the staff member in the blood lab yesterday that I spoke with. I was definitely having a hard day. The tech I spoke with over the phone was the same person who ended up taking my blood the same day. She was incredibly helpful and kind.

I wanted to let someone out there know how wonderful she was. Got my tiny veins first go which is no easy task either. The intake person who checked me in was also incredibly kind and definitely showed some concern for me. Thank you to those two folks, and Meadowview who had the exact service that I needed yesterday. It was a blessing. Feeling much better already because they had the service I needed in the lab specifically.

Been in the emergency room for over 3 hours with my 3 year old daughter having a 103 temp. And still no sign of going back to be seen. Totally unacceptable.

I'd give it zero stars if I could. My mother came in with a gaping head wound, and they were worried about her having a stroke. Its been 4 hours, 3 of which we spent here in the waiting room, her head is still bleeding. But they're just walking around like they're aren't people literally bleeding from their faces out in the waiting area. Not a single person is hurrying around even with the "4 ambulances that have all come in at the same time" If my mom does end up being diagnosed with a stroke, idk what I'll do, but it won't be good.

Some people have been out in the waiting area since 6 p.m, and it's 9:102right now. This isn't the first time I've been stuck for hours waiting to see a doctor, the last time I couldn't breathe, and waited 4 and a half hours to be seen.

All of the nursing staff and social workers here are incredible. However, Dr. Dickerson is the most unprofessional and rude man I have ever encountered. I was with my mother in the ICU for 3 days and not only did I not see or speak to him, but when I did he was dismissive, uninformative, and belittling. He is starting his own practice and I would be incredibly shocked if he retained any patients.
