Excellent physicians. They are thorough, informative, caring, answer questions fully and address any concerns. There are no long wait times; however, you not feel they are rushing you out.

As a medical professional, I am appalled that the lab results for this clinic take over 10 days to be delivered to patients by mail. This could have happened in third world countries 50 years ago, really never seen such practice anywhere

Dr. Hoermann and her staff are incredibly attentive, caring and responsive. I have called from out of the country and received immediate assistance. I can't say enough about the professional care I have received from MCH for more than 30 years.

Today, I needed to talk with Dr David Wolf's Med asst, Maddie. What a delight! She is very personable, professional and, best of all, kind and caring. She is the perfect person for this position! (This is not my first contact with Maddie. She's a keeper!)

I've personally been a patient of their practice (Dr. Schatz and Magid) for over five years. They're incredibly efficient at the practice of medicine, yet helpful and compassionate. I have not experienced the billing problems that other reviewers have. I understand their ire, and I get the impression that such things are endemic in the medical industry---especially for more complicated procedures.

I just haven't had it happen yet here, for either me or my fiancee (knock on wood.) I'd recommend them unhesitatingly to anyone with a PPO, and looking for a new GP. Though definitely double-check what's being ordered on your behalf.

I was a long time patient at Medical Clinic of Houston. When my primary care physician, Cassandra Wertz, left the practice, I needed to find a new physician. I tried one and it was not a good fit. When I tried to schedule an appointment with a different PCP, he refused to grant me an appointment because I had already seen one of his other colleagues.

It seemed rather ridiculous and I was not interested in being held hostage with a physician that I did not feel I would work well with. They didn't seem to care that I was going to take my business elsewhere. I'm sure Dr. William McKee is a lovely person but he needs to be a little more open minded and remember that the patients are his customers.

Called my doctor 5 times leaving a message. I had tested positive for COVID and needed a course of action. No return call at this most crucial time. Don't count on this clinic. To say severely disappointed is an understatement.

Incompetent billing department. Continuing to get bills in the mail for services fully covered by my insurance policy due to their negligent billing practices. Then they reply to this review- I call. Still no resolution. It really feels like they are trying to steal rather than advocate for my needs as a patient.

The doctors are very good, especially Dr. Martin White who is excellent. Dr. White is kind, knowledgeable, and explains his recommendations very well. The staff, including Dr. White's assistant Ann, are helpful and friendly. The clinic is lovely, with pleasant waiting areas with tables and comfortable chairs. The clinic generally runs more or less on schedule and many lab exams, such as X-rays, can be done on site.

This clinic is the absolute worst! My doctor Daniel Schatz is fine BUT They are so outdated on their process, technology and they are so careless. I had to chase them down for my labs 2 weeks later after my annual physical. They have No online portal, everything is paper trail just like the 1980s! They can't even email results because they can't encrypt emails.

They say they will call you back and never do. Basically YOU have to chase them down on next steps. Veronica all she does is answer the phone and attempts to help but the nurse Rachel will say she will call you back but does not which is very frustrating especially when you're expecting her call back for next steps. Not to mention if you get a test done in a different floor they have to physically go and pick up results and hand deliver them to your doctor.

How ridiculous! A fkn sh*t show! Shame on Medical Clinic for managing a horrible office and not investing in the right technology and personnel. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. I will research a 5 star doctor and a practice that is up to date with technology and that actually cares!

Doctor on-site provides efficient and quality service but the billing process is a complete mess. The service was for regular Annual preventative physical exam. 1st set of charges through multiple claims was rejected from insurance, resulted in multiple calls trying to figure out what's going on. 2nd set of claims insurance deny 4 claims, seems like the doctor/clinic submitted a few non-preventative service that insurance company does not cover.

One of our specialists moved over to this inept place recently from Methodist and what a disappointing difference. We have been trying to get a Prolia injection arranged for weeks and weeks. When we call, we get the same useless idiot who does nothing or transfers us to infusion, where apparently, they don't answer the phone at all. We loved this Physician when she was at Houston Methodist, but it looks like we may have to find another one.

This place is a total joke (at least the office she is now in). Follow-up: After posting this, I was contacted by MCH via email and was informed of phone issues that have been going on recently. I was given a number to call for Nursing Administration. Administration immediately contacted infusion and then connected me. Kylie was absolutely great and quickly got my wife scheduled for her injection. I've upgraded the rating from one to three stars for now. If the visit goes as well as today, I'd move it up to five stars then.

First class facility with first class Docs. Parking attendents are particularly helpful. Or, you can park it yourself for a longer walk (Inside) but cheaper than valet.

My Doctor moved to this Clinic from Methodist, the doctor is Awesome but the clinic staff is horrendous and rude. I would love to keep my doctor but not sure I can deal with this place. Can not get anyone to return my calls or help me at all. They just send you to a voicemail that is preachy and lecturing the patient about all kinds of things. Just not good service at all. I have been calling for almost 2 weeks with no results. Receptionist has a nasty attitude. Good luck getting any kind of help if you choose this place.

I have gone to this Clinic for over 27 years. Upon arriving the valet service is warm and welcoming. They are always prompt and courteous. I especially appreciate how they help people in need of extra help. I have witnessed them take all the care In the world to each and every person that comes to the clinic. I have seen several doctors over the years.

Some are no longer with the clinic and some have moved onto the concierge model. So Hence, I am being seen by Dr Jennifer Guss. She is always prompt and courteous. She takes time to review your case prior to meeting with you. She seems to generally care about your health but your overall well being. She orders the necessary test to help you maintain your overall health.

Her office staff is gracious, friendly and books your appointments to work around your schedule. I always say the sign of a great doctor is one who keeps the same office staff. I love that they email to confirm your appointments and text to remind. I love that feature. I also appreciate having all the services available at their location. Wonderful place to receive medical care.

My husband and I see Dr. Goldfarb. He his very thorough and makes sure to answer all your questions before seeing next patient. My late grandfather Dr. John G Hull was one of the founders at this clinic and would very pleased to know Dr. Goldfarb cares for his patients as much as he did. You're treated like a human, not a number. I live in Clearlake and always enjoy driving in seeing the beautiful old live oaks, shopping at the store 'Surroundings' (directly across from clinic) and heading to Pauline's poboys off Holcomb and Bellaire for lunch (nextdoor to Molina's)!

You can make a doctor visit day a fun day! I sure do! People need to be grateful that Houston has top notch medical care and to stop complaining about how much parking is, or a staff member wasn't sporting a Colgate smile like June Cleaver or Mary Poppins. Staff members are humans too, and the negative patients on here need to understand that everything they are complaining about is so ridiculous.

We need to be grateful we aren't living in a third world country! The staff member who wasn't friendly might've had a bad day because maybe someone died in their family, or spouse lost their job? As for insurance billing.dealing with insurance companies will always be a challenge for every provider. Be grateful your doctors actually takes your insurance instead of complaing about having to pay a few extra dollars.

You're investing in your health.should be worth every penny. 5.00 parking is worth it! Your car is secured from thieves plus they have security cameras. Also, understand valet parkers have to work in Houston heat, so if they appear rude. they are probably hot and thirsty so offer them a water instead of a complaint. Kindness is contagious!

Your imaging program and facility leaves much to be desired. My number 1 issue, is the fact that you make clients wait in an open gown with barely nothing on in front of other strangers with no privacy. I know you have made changes in the last year with this but if people can't wait in a private area, one that is not off the main corridor, you should allow for them to change and wait in the procedure rooms.

The 2nd is the fact that your gowns come in two sizes which are inadequate. I am 5'-10" and weigh 220. There are people much larger than I and a "L" gown does not fit me. I could not even close my gown in the front which further explains why I am not going to sit and humiliate myself in front of strangers in a waiting room. 3rd issue, your gowns are not ADA accessible.

The top bin that houses these is not in compliance with ADA reach range. 4th, you need better way finding and signage. Your facility could be so much better than it is and its unfortunate no one goes the extra mile to make it great. I have photos of all these conditions.

Dr. David Wolf is a phenomenal Gastroenterologist. After a year and a half of suffering from malnutrition, pain and unexplained weight loss, myriad of physicians, a PCP that said drink Ensure and see me in a few months I found Dr. Wolf. Straight off he listened while I explained what was going on with my body. I offered what I thought was wrong and he still listened.

He offered diagnostic tests and solutions! It is hard to find a Dr. that has empathy, knowledge and a genuine resolve to find out whats wrong with a person. His office staff is remarkable from Serena at the front desk to Maddie the nurse. They are friendly, helpful and have great communication skills. I drive 100 miles to this practice if that tells you anything about the extraordinary care I receive fromfrom Dr. Wolf and his staff!

My husband's doctor, Dr. McKee, is awesome, intuitive, he is straightforward and listens to his patients. The building has easy access to inside parking which is only $5; the valet parking is $13 and the valet attendants are beyond wonderful; they will go out of their way to ensure patients are taken care of. This organization is a bit behind the times though when it comes to communication and access to patient's information.

There is no patient portal available (yet) like MyChart in which to view test results, make appointments, communicate with staff, etc. Everything is done in an old fashioned way which I think many people may like. My own doctors are with the Methodist system where communication is streamlined and the patient's own information is readily available which includes upcoming appointments, past and current test results, communications with personnel and a host of other personal information. Not having access to this may not be an issue for most people.

I'm another one of those patients with a surprise bill. It really shouldn't be a surprise with other complaints from other patients. They're happy to bill me over $400 after they my insurance, but they don't care to disclose the potential costs. However, I will give them credit, they DID call me to tell me they were going to charge me over $800 for an abdominal CT scan (with contrast) WITH insurance; I shopped around and found places that would do it for less than half the price WITHOUT insurance.

I'm never going to this clinic again. UPDATE: So they admit THEY HAVE CONTRACTED RATES to bill according the patients' insurance, but they don't care to disclose the costs upfront. See for yourself. "These insurance contracts obligate MCH to bill the patient their portion of the total contracted fees" I find it funny that other clinics are able to provide CT scans that are "on-par" with TMC's standards as a different facility accepted these scans for a fraction of the price that MCHLLP charges. Take your time reading other's reviews.

By far, the valet staff is the most friendly, welcoming group of people. Considering the fast paced tasks they have before them, they never fail to greet with a smile and salutation.and I self-park! Nearly this time last year, on the recommendation of a friend, I visited Mildred Bennett. The first visit was pleasant and ostensibly thorough. The fact that the battery of tests could be done in the same building was of great convenience, however the results took so long, they were rendered useless to my other doctors.

I called to inquire many times, and during a time when we were advised nationally, not to ignore our medical appointments even with the uncertain danger of the Corona Virus. All I got from the assistant was, "Dr Bennett's not coming in. She has all her files at home and she'll get back to you when she's done". I expressed concern to the referring friend, adding that I would now have to pay for NEW tests, because, my specialist indicated the MCH results are now "too old".

Word has circulated through the MCH office and the greater Houston area that Bennett (and half of America) is going through a difficult divorce. I'm caught between a rock and a hard place, trying to show sympathy for her while faced with the reality that the money I paid out of pocket for my tests has gone down the drain, not to mention, I don't know what, or if I even have a condition about which to be concerned. Meanwhile, medical professionals still plead with Americans that we should not cancel or postpone medical attention.

We mourn the tragic and untimely desth of actor, Chadwick Boseman. Again, more doctors entreat us to see our doctors, regardless of social distancing orders. But ME? I've got to sit and wait until Stella gets her groove back. She cancelled 2 appointments on me, one of which was cancelled within 90 minutes of my arrival. Clearly she does not have a rapport with the other doctors in her suite.

I am simply told, "She's not feeling well". While Bennett's health issues and marital problems are none of my business, MY HEALTH IS MY BUSINESS and I THOUGHT IT WAS HERS ALSO! Instead of accepting yet another invitation to reschedule, I asked for a suggestion on another doctor in the suite who would at least have access to my patient records. Doctor Brian Goldfarb was recommended to me.

I did get a call from the nurse on Bennett's direction, that someone came into the office asking about my medical records - That Bennett found it to be a highly "inappropriate" threat to my privacy. Turns out that my friend, who recommended Bennett, was there for an appointment and mentioned my bad experience, stemming from HER recommendation. It's too bad that Bennett took offense to a 3rd party asking about the delay in my results, rather than calling me personally to apologize about how long she had put me off and how much money had been wasted because she's at home crying in her patient files over her divorce. Now, her staff declares she wants to be called McAfee. WELL, HALLE F-ING LUJAH, STELLA GOT HER GROOVE BACK. WHO GIVES A FLYING F---? Finally, I had my 1st appointment with Brian Goldfarb.

His nanny must have been the incarnation of Livia Soprano. He is a FIRST CLASS ASSHOLE. I have more ghastly details about him but he doesn't deserve the time it would take.though if provoked I'm ready. I am just glad it's not the 1950s, and I'll bet he wishes it were. Amazingly, after that 1st visit with Goldfarb, I got my OBSOLETE test results in the mail from Bennett.

Oh pardon me, .McAfee. Mr. Bennett, your club is growing. I've divorced her ass as well. Clearly she doesn't care. I am waiting for my patient records so I can be rid of the lot of them. I filled out the request form on my phone which reached them in jpeg form. It was rejected for a PDF. NEXT, they'll request the release be sent to them on scented stationery. A CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES

I refer my friends and family here, 3 generations. Houston is known for quality healthcare, and you will find it here. Dr Magid is great, he is locally known and has internal medicine training from top programs. He has my trust. The staff is superb as well, kudos to whoever is managing, training, and keeping the quality. The experience you have here as a patient is 5 star from the time you enter the door. The parking staff is great too!

My doctor is great and I won't go into talking about him, but the Medical Clinic itself is terrible as the only way to communicate with them is by phone and they never answer the phone. No email, no patient portal, no online records, nothing. Call on the phone, listen to a 15 minute phone tree instruction, leave a message, never get an answer.

Repeat the next day. It's very frustrating, especially when you're trying to transfer records to a specialist or get a test pre-approved for insurance. The delays in communication have cost me HUNDREDS because they've ended up not being pre-approving something after I've been trying to get it pre-approved for weeks. Telephone only! And they don't answer. My doctor is great and I don't want to change, but MCH is behind the times and incommunicative.

PLEASE READ! I moved to Houston about 6 months ago and so I wanted to look for a doctor. I called this clinic and it took them 48 hours (even though the voicemail said 24 hours) to call me back. My appointment was scheduled one month in advanced because that was the earliest date. So the day of my appointment (which was today), I was 5 minutes late, and they told me I had to reschedule.

I was 5 minutes late because I had to park in a parking garage (like getting a ticket so that you can pay for parking). I also kind of got lost because there were no simple, visible sign that I could see to tell me which floor Dr. Jennifer Meyer was on. It would have been nice if I was told prior to the appointment that you had to pay to park and what floor I was to go to.

It also would have been nice if Someone warned me about not being late, not even for one minute. I'm new and it's hard to determine time/traffic here. I even left for my appointment 45 mins in advanced, even though the place was only about 8 miles away. Unfortunately, there was an accident on the way to my appointment. With all of my other doctors, dentists, etc, I always had a 15 minute window until my appointment would get canceled.

This is 5 minutes. In my opinion, I don't think this Doctor is really passionate and actually cares about patients, because she cancel my appointment because I was 5 minutes late. So it's okay for their office to call me 24 hours after the 24 hour promised callback, but me being late 5 minutes is unacceptable. It also sucked because I was required to fast for 6 hours before my appointment.

So not only was I starving at work, I starved for no reason majority of the day. So please be aware before scheduling an appointment with her. There are other caring doctors out there.

I have been coming here for a few years now, and overall I am very impressed. I have visited many doctors' offices in the past, and this one has raised the bar for me. I love my doctor, Dr. Cassandra Wertz, and her nurse Dee. They make an awesome team, and always make me feel supported and never rushed, the way that many physicians tend to be these days.

All my questions are always answered fully and I leave feeling reassured. Dee is also a rockstar when it comes to drawing blood! She makes the whole process fast and as pain free as possible. I'm not a fan of needles, and she makes it much more bearable! The facility as a whole is well-kept, crisp, and modern. There is even a little refreshment room in the waiting lounge for the patients.

The only downside is that you have to pay for parking, but it is only $5 and I can usually find a spot pretty quickly. You pay for your parking at the front desk when you check out, which makes it a smoother process to leave rather than tracking down a machine. Valet is also an option.

I saw Dr. Magid twice. The first time was a pretty normal visit and he ordered tests. When I came in for the follow-up a week later, he changed completely. He came in agitated, yelled at me, wouldn't let me speak without yelling over me and told me he didn't know what was causing my issue and didn't want to treat me (he could have just said that before).

I have NEVER seen any professional any this way, and I started crying. He then gave me the number for an ENT and left the room. No one this abusive should be allowed around patients.

It is ridiculously difficult to get test results from this clinic! I love my doctor but it should not take 5 phone calls and 2+ weeks to get results once they are available to the clinic staff. This has happened on more than one occasion and is super stressful when you are worried about a result. The paper chart system is outdated and the staff don't have a commitment to get results to the patients in a timely way.

They don't follow through on promises to call back with results once they locate your chart. If you want to access a copy of results you have to wait 15 business days for medical records to count the pages in your record, send you an invoice, pay the invoice and then wait for them to be delivered via snail mail! If you care about timely access to test results, you should choose a provider that offers electronic health records.

Overall I found this place to be very clean with upgraded amenities such as nice soap, coffee, filtered water. When we checked in, even though we were early, we were immediately called in and prepared to be seen by the doctor. Five stars for that service! The in rooms are clean and similar to other clinic rooms but this one is definitely upgraded in terms of the wood floors and painted walls.

Otherwise the room is about the same size and layout. Service: Great! Ambience: better than other clinics in terms of decor and amenities Parking: you have to pay for parking which is a definite dislike for me

I've been seeing Dr. Goldfarb here for almost 8 years, and he's hand down my favorite doctor I have ever had. My very first experience with him, we did a full physical and talked my medical history for a solid 45 minutes. "Thorough" is an understatement. Since then, every physical and every sick visit has been met with the same bedside manner. He's never in a rush to move on to the next patient, yet also never behind schedule.

They clearly prioritize each and every patient to have ample time with him, and that's rare in today's healthcare world. His staff and nurses are all wonderful too! I've never had a single issue with making appointments, getting refills, or asking for new medications. The whole team takes the time to listen and help without ever making you feel like you are an inconvenience.

I have been coming here since October 2017 and I have been here many times for multiple reasons. I see Dr. Khatri specifically, who is absolutely wonderful. When I had my physical, I went to multiple floors to have multiple things done and it was extremely organized and done quickly. Every time I come, I am greeted nicely and they take care of me in a timely manner.

To me, that is what counts. I work in customer service and being completely upbeat and happy ALL the time is exhausting to one, so I don't always expect over the top for anyone in this field. I am usually in and out within 30 min if not less. Which is pretty great compared to other doctors I have been too. However, keep in mind, always be early to your appointments! If you are late, you are the one causing others to wait longer in the wait room! Overall, I love Dr. Khatri and her staff and would recommend!

This review is for the clinic and especially the billing department, not the doctor (doc is great). I had several bad experiences and will probably not return here: 1. Billing: They seem to charge more than they should and don't check if you had previously overpaid (have a credit to use). When I asked, I was actually told their policy is not to use the credit you have - makes no sense.

I have had hundreds of dollars on credit with them (from wrong billing) for more than a year - only after calling and complaining they would send me the money. They said it is the patient responsibility to check. It's the only clinic and business I know that does not refund your money and does not even tell you if you have a balance. This is not acceptable. 2. Appointments: they are average in setting up if not in a hurry, but every time I needed a quick appointment (when I was feeling sick) with a doctor I have seen for years, it was always impossible to get something within 1-2 days.

I expect my primary doctor or clinic to be able to work me in within a few days if I am sick. 3. Follow-up: I rarely received the follow-up I was told (e.g. we'll call you with X) and it is very hard to get to talk with someone / nurse about medical issues. You have to leave messages and it usually takes 1-2 days to get a response or call. 4.

For a vaccine (preventive care covered 100% by insurance) they insisted to charge me for a doctor visit - although I only received an injection from a nurse. They would not submit it as preventive and I had to pay. Sad that good doctors have such a poor support staff and processes.

Dr. Mona Elhaj Iversen is just amazing! She treats me Lupus and has been for a good 5 years. She's always so helpful and caring and and her staff are just so great! The reception lady on the 4th floor is always so friendly and welcoming. She always makes conversations with me and my mom.
