Services
In an Epidural Steroid Injection, a local anesthetic and steroid is injected into the epidural space. This is the area that surrounds the spinal cord and the spinal nerves. The purpose of the injection is to reduce pain by reducing any inflammation of the nerves in the area of the injection site. The injection only takes a few minutes and is usually performed in the office under conscious sedation.
The entire staff at Metro Pain Associates is dedicated to providing your patient with quality care and that starts with their initial conversation with our new patient clerk. We want to sincerely thank you for your referral and we look forward to working with you and with your patient. On your patients first visit they will be scheduled for an evaluation.

Dr Reasor is wonderful. He explained my procedure in a very clear and concise manner. The procedure went very well, and I have experienced significant pain relief.

Enjoy Dr. Reasor and his staff. All work as a team and provide great care. Especially those who help in surgery with my epidurals. The nurses are very sweet and get you in and out quick!

To whom it may concern, I went to Dr. Reasors office for two visits, and this physicialn has got to be the best top notch pain management Dr in this area! Unfortunately, HIS NURSES MAKES HIS DECISION WHO H E SEES AND WHO HE DON'T! I had been to my family dr prior to this appointment and my family dr called my medicines into my pharmacy and placed them on uto refill for the next 90 days.

When Dr. Reasor called my medicine in, the pharmacy had ALREADY refilled my meds from family dr, but i had NOT picked the medicine up. When I got a text from pharmacy that my meds were ready, I went thru drive thru to get it and when I open the bag up it was the meds from my FAMILY dr NOT Dr. Reasor. So I went inside the pharmacy and told the pharmacist to destroy this meds because i had went to a pain management clinic and was given A different script and I couldn't recieved both!

So pharmacist put some kind of liquid in the full bottle of medicine and destroyed it. I video.this. In 2 days I was to get the medicine Dr. Reasor BUT INSTEAD I GET A CALL from HIS NURSE and she tells me that SHES DISCHARGING me as a patient BECAUSE I got a script from family dr filled. I explained how it was an AUTO refill and I didn't even know until i picked up thru drive thru, told pharmacist and she wrote a statement saying she destroyed them but SADLY, WITHOUT LISTENING TO ANY OF THIS.SHE MADE A DECISION FOR DR. REASOR. The pharmacy suggested I seek legal advice! Against the nurse.

When other pain management facilities have dogged around, Dr. Reasor came up with a plan to reduce my serious pain level without adding opioids which are great for short term but for long term can cause major damage to human beings. In other facilities opioids seem to be the drug of choice but I didn't realize the long term affect it was having on my body.

Another point to bring up at Metro Pain Associates is the staff. From when you walk in the door to the excellent nursing staff they are #1 top notch professionals. If you are in need of major pain management Metro Pain Associates is the place to go. They are also providing great results in Stem Cell Therapy.

I came to Dr Reasor 11 years ago. I've been treated with kindness and compassion from day 1. He is an amazing person and amazing doctor. The staff is also great. My pain has always been treated appropriately and am thankful for that. I will say whoever gave Dr Reasor and Metro Pain Associates a 1 star has him confused with Dr Nair, another pain management dr in Louisville KY. Thank you for all you do for me and so many others!

I've seen them treat their patients with nothing but dignity and respect as I was from the moment I walked in the door. I finally feel like I'm in good hands. I was confident going in to my surgery knowing they would be there for the long recovery I now face, I Thank God for them and I'm so grateful to be a patient there. Thank you Dr. Reesor and your kind and caring staff.

I've suffered so very long and the peace of mind you have given me, knowing those days are over means so very much to my mental and physical well being, I can't thank you enough.

Dr Reasor is one of the Good ones, Both me and my wife saw Dr Reasor and his team for over 10 years, he doesn't mess around and won't put up with any tom foolery (which is why I like him), but he does care and will listen, especially when there is a mistake made or when there is a miscommunication, as long as you act professional, with respect, and follow the rules, he returns that respect.

You act like a fool, your treated like a fool and shown the door (again, this is why I liked him). we moved to FL a little over a year ago and loosing Dr Reasor was one of the worst things about moving because its hard, especially in today environment, to find a good Dr because trust isn't a one way street and just as a Dr must trust you, you must be able to trust that Dr and I trusted Dr Reasor.

I know he got new staff right before we moved so i cannot review any current staff at MP beyond 2/2017, but Dr Reasor, Carol and Rachael will always have my gratitude and respect for the professional service and care they provided for me and my wife. Thanks again Dr Reasor, his PA Carol (not sure if still there), and Rachael (also not sure if still there). Carrie and I miss you guys, God Bless M.M.

I was a patient here for 6 years. After a few months of having a pain pump implanted, I wanted it out. I was worse off than before. I was told that I would still have to pay $50 every month that I DIDN'T receive morphine refills. After 6 months of not even putting in my notes that I wanted it out, I was finally given a surgery date. Then, 2 days before the surgery, Dr Nair's officer called and told me they had to cancel the surgery.

They said I would have to come in and talk to the doctor again and told me an appointment that was a month later. I was understandably angry, so I was dismissed from the practice. Please take heed with this doctor. He will act like your best friend at first, but or ends up being all about the money. He is the only doctor and has more patients than some practices with 4 or 5 doctors. I highly recommend that you go anywhere else than here.

Since moving to Louisville we have visited Metro Pain. Moving to a new city and trying to find a Pain Management doctor is very difficult and the fine staff at Metro Pain was great from the start. Since 2013 we have never had any issues with the staff and they are always helpful. The staff is very professional and they have always appeared to follow all state and federal guidelines for pain management facilities.

For those of you that are not familiar with this last statement, let me assure you, this is very important when dealing with a pain management facility. The staff has always been open and honest with their policies and have always been nice to us. If you're in the market for a good professional facility give Metro a try. This service isn't available for everyone but when you need a service like this, Metro Pain is as good as it gets.
