I went to Dr. Eleanor Chan, for an ongoing ear infection in 2016. I ended up having surgery to remove eroded tissue and repair my ear canal. She was very caring, gentle and gave detail information so I could understand. She did an exceptional job on the surgery. I felt no pain following the surgery, unless I laid on that side of my head. It was a pretty quick recovery, also. Currently, Oct, 2020, I need surgery again because I have some damage to the tissue inside the same ear.

I may have possibly caused by using q-tips. Not really sure but I will be getting a ct scan, but, once again, Dr. Chan, was caring, informative. She is very professional, kind and confident and I trust her 100%. Even the entire staff and anyone I have spoken to on the phone, are wonderful to deal with

Drove 21/2 hours to see Dr. Sargent with balance problem. Couldn't ask for more attention and a better examination. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Wonderful Providence Hospital complex. Additional tests were scheduled for my convenience. Thank you!

I have been going to see Dr. LaRouere for over a year. I felt he did as minimal as possible and I felt like I wasted my time driving 90 minutes to only see him for less than 2 minutes and for no results. I'm completely frustrated that my family doctor, my local ENT doctor could not figure it out but thought the Michigan Ear Institute would figure it out. They didn't and were stumped and instead of diagnosing the issue they just wanted to prescribe medication for the discomfort.
