We have been mask free for a very long time now and this office still requires it. Highly inconvenient. How do we move forward 2.5 years later when there are still places that require them and not make them optional, like everywhere else.

This was my first time going there to Kane Hall Berry Neurology. From the moment I walked in to the time that I left they made you feel like a "real" person and not just a number. The nurse who did my first part of the testing was outstanding. She was extremely friendly and explained everything she was going to do. The doctor then came in to finish the last part of my testing and he was extremely friendly also. If I need any further testing in this area, I will most definitely be going back to them. Thank for you help!

There should be a zero star option for this place. My family member went here in 2019 to see Dr. Barry. She was complaining of headaches, dizziness and other neurological issues. After a few visits Dr Barry told her "there is nothing I can do for you" however, he continued to strongly encourage her to continue coming to see him for some strange reason. Dr Barry did nothing and my family member discontinued seeing him.

After some time passed I found another doctor at UT Southwestern on behalf of my family member. This new doctor immediately noticed strong signs of Parkinson's Disease. This new doctor quickly scheduled important scans and did an extensive investigation. This new doctor asked who we had seen previously regarding our concerns and we declined to tell him.

He asked if he could guess and we said sure ok. On his first guess, he guessed Kane Hall Barry. Our new doctor stated he has seen quite a few patients who come to him after poor service from Kane Hall Barry. He even said they never added any charts into a system for all doctors to review nor did they ever perform any brain imaging or scans. To my heartbreak, it was to late.

The family member soon passed away from an aggressive cousin of Parkinson's called MSA, Multiple Systems Atrophy. I can't help but day dream and wonder what would be different and would my family member still be here today had Dr Barry actually done his job. Additionally, I spoke on the phone to the staff while my family member was a patient here and they were extremely arrogant. I recommend staying as far away from Kane Hall Barry as possible. Heck, I wouldn't even drive by this place.

I had such high hopes for this place. I recently switched from UT Southwestern, and really liked the doctor at my first and only visit so far. This star rating and review has nothing to do with her. It has everything to do with the medical staff that is supposed to return phone calls regarding medical and prescription questions. Their voicemail states that if you call before 3 p.m. you should receive a phone call that same day.

False advertising. So, I gave them an extra day, they still didn't call. I called back two days after my initial call, and they were closed for the holiday. Gee, thanks for getting back with me before your long holiday break. I called yet again after the holiday, and was transferred to the same line. Left a frustrated voicemail. Never heard back. Finally gave up and called my pcp, and he did what this office should have handled.

They finally called me today, TWO WEEKS exactly after my first call and message. How is this allowed? They are supposed to be handling our care and prescription needs? Our concerns and any issues that arise? But they never get back with you? That scares me to death. I don't want to be in a situation where I need to reach the doctor but the staff can't be bothered to check messages or return phone calls. TWO WEEKS. I am seriously considering going back to UT Southwestern. They get back with you within a day, plus you can message them through MyChart. I am so disappointed.

Dr Kahlon and his assistant performed a series of EMG tests. It was an interesting experience. I wasn't sure what to expect but all my questions were answered.

Great staff Drs nurses front desk are all outstanding. Very comforting and eased my mind in a scary time. A little difficult to get on the phone at times but I would never consider going anywhere else.

This whole year I have been trying to reach them. I have to call on lunch, when I should be eating. Luck if I got to talk once or twice to someone all year. I am supposed to get Prolia shots hear. They won't answer phone, or contact the place that allows for a small out of pocket expense. Usually $50.00. When I call the phone number they give me for Prolia they hung up on me bc I did not have a number only the office has. Suffering, and puts me at risks for fractures all bc they refuse to do what normally is done to help patients who are referred by there physicians office get what needs to be done.

It's around $2000.00 out of pocket. I cannot afford that. All year this office has ignored my calls. And won't answer there phone. I gave up. They sent me something in the mail. Don't go here. Terrible to be treated like you do not matter.

I saw Dr. Barry. He was very good at explaining what he thought my problem was. Ordered an MRA on my brain and he personally called me within an hour of my test being completed. Diagnosed immediately. He personally called me back the next day after the first call because I had more questions. Then had one more test EEG of my brain waves. Saw him right after the test and ruled out another symptom.

He went over everything & asked multiple times if I had any more questions for him. Wasn't rushed & you don't sit in the waiting room long at all, which is a plus to me. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

I'm a physician, so "picky" on healthcare providers. Huge respects for Dr. Ansari. Office staff very receptive. Initially they "fumbled" an issue with scheduling an appointment and test procedure, but once aware, it was promptly resolved.

The staff is amazing the doctors are fabulous but I feel like I had to pay for test that really weren't necessary. Maybe they were but when I've had a migraine for a month I don't need to know if I have carpal tunnel. I know the arm pain is crazy but my head though. lol

I saw Dr. Shah a couple times and his bedside manner and personality was demeaning and rude. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!

Dr. Ansari has been a blessing in my 16yo sons life. He suffered for over 6 months from Back pain that radiates to his torso and chest. He was even hospitalized at Cooks Childrens in Fort Worth where they couldn't explain or treat his pain. We went to two other spine doctors and they both referred us to Kane, Barry, Hall. After our initial consult, Dr. Ansari was appalled at all the hard medication my son was on.

He said he wanted to try a conservative approach and the goal is to get him off of all the meds. After trying one other medication - Dr. Ansari found one that not only worked, but he will be able to live a normal life and soon will be completely off of it. Dr. Ansari did a complete nerve study, read the MRIs and treated my son within two visits. Now 3 months later, I have my boy back! He's playing soccer again and enjoying life and doing well in school again! It's such a blessing to have found a doctor that really listened to him and worked with what is best for him and doing it safely! So lucky that we came here!

I am giving one star because it won't let me leave zero. My daughter went today for migraines which have changed in frequency, intensity, and duration. Rather than actually do any testing or speak with her about her debilitating headaches, the doctor told her that "women just get migraines" and spent the entire visit trying to figure out what was wrong with her face (she still has no clue what he was looking for).

He was extremely rude and dismissive. Then he gave her a prescription for migraines (which she told him she has had before and which was completely ineffective). Then he told her to come back in a month. Ummm. no thank you. We don't actually pay doctors to be dismissive, rude, and completely unprofessional, but thanks anyway.

This is my Neurologist for a few years and I am always very satisfied with their service. From the front to my doctor. But the reason for the 5 stars is because of Deborah Stapel who is treating me. Very professional & determined to solve your issues.

This company has horrible service! The office staff very rude! They changed my appointment twice and then when I finally get in, they refuse to see me unless I give them $450 up front even with Insurance. I had to take off from work for this appointment and it is extremely hard to get time off! They refused to bill me so I lost money to go to an appointment that I could have to begin with! I guess its not about not doing harm to the patient anymore. Do not go and see them because all they see is $$$$$$!

This was the most useless appointment I have ever been too! I was seeking actual help and paid a very expensive co-pay to do the exact same thing I'm already doing! I already cancelled all of my appointments and I will not be back! I honestly wish I would of followed my guy and cancelled my appointment before I even went!

Called for a new patient appointment, and Rachel was so very rude, I just told her never mind. I would never even try a physicians group with such horrible intake. If they are that bad at just taking an appointment for a new patient, I can't imagine how the rest of their practice is.

I really like this office. The office staff was really nice, from the front desk to the assistants. Dr. Barry was very knowledgeable, and was very quick to come up with an initial plan for me. Yes, my appointment was running a little behind, but I've come to expect that at doctors' offices. I would rather be late and thorough than on-time and rushed.

Dr. Shah came in and was very rude. Didn't seem interested in helping at all. As he was examining he made remarks of something being different and then said everything was normal and fine. Then he recommended on sending me elsewhere. If you want answers or help I would recommend finding somewhere else.

If you want a doctor that cares and listens to you keep on looking. Patients are just another person that needs to be treated and just hands you a prescription and goes to the next person. They hold your medication hostage if you don't make an another appointment that isn't your yearly appointment and sends your medication to the wrong place. Keep on looking.

This place WILL help you. Came here for severe pain and they were able to give me relief on my first visit. Deborah Stapel was amazing and very caring. She asks all kinds of questions and made me feel like she really wanted to help me. I will never go anywhere else! If you have any pain issues this is the place to go. Thank you Kane Hall Barry Neurology for helping me return to "normal" life. I'm changing my review to 3 star.

Not because of the care but the office staff. I have waiting over an hour just for a follow up visit. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional. FIND SOMEWHERE THAT VALUES YOUR TIME.

The office staff in Keller is very nice but when I went to see Dr. Barry for the first time he made weird faces the whole time and judged me off of past cause of certain medications I was on and wanted to me to follow up with another doctor to do testing which is understandable and since I didn't want to do the testing HE wanted me to do he terminated me which makes no since you want me to go to a place where they take me off my seizure meds and watch me have a seizure to tell me what type umm no I already know I'm epeptic. I thought his decision was not very understanding and wouldn't go back there and would advise everyone that as well I am in complete utter disgusted

Went for my first appointment today and after reading the reviews I see small things that are still prevalent in the Doctors demeanor, but nothing that would prevent me from going back. He seems eccentric and extremely smart so perhaps people mistake that for being rude or having bad bedside manner? I'm not sure but I didn't find him rude at all.

I tried to not let the bad reviews mold my opinion and focused on business. He did introduce himself to me and I felt he paid attention to me while I spoke. I'm a migraine sufferer and they keep getting worse. I was given some sample meds to try and two scripts. He took the time to talk to me, exam me, ask a lot of questions about my headaches and frequency, so I was satisfied with the visit. I will be going back. They have a migraine room in another office. I found that interesting and will definitely be trying that out.

If a half star was an option, I'd give it! I just paid $85 to stare at a wall while Dr. Barry made faces at his frozen computer. He kept looking at the door like he wanted to be anywhere but with his patient. He wasn't happy that I was put on my original prescription that's worked for most of my life. I've had a chronic headache for a long time and wanted to talk about it instead of living on ibuprofen.

He didn't want to talk about It! All he said was probably not migraines because it wouldn't be constant. Dr. Barry agreed if it ain't broke, don't fix it and said I don't have to come back for a year. He set up prescriptions for a year BUT, it's not the exact same thing I'm taking. It's a different form that's $60 more! I won't be buying that! I have the green light for another year. So I'll find a new Neurologist before that year is up. Still fuming in DFW

My mom's experience with Dr. Jerome Kane has been very disappointing. This review is based on 4 office visits and his care of mom in rehab. He has no personality, a terrible bed side manner, no compassion, is rude, arrogant, disheveled in appearance, could not/would not give us a care plan for the future and berated my 85 year old mother who suffers from Dementia Alzheimer's.

When I asked how him how his services would help us and what the plan of care would be his reply was "if you want to let another doctor handle it that's fine". When he did finally enter the room, he threw himself down in the chair like a teenager, placed his head in his hand and stared down at the chart for a minimum of 60 seconds before he ever bothered to acknowledge our presence.

I found him appalling and his attitude uncaring. Our presence, questions seemed a nuisance to him. My opinion, when dealing with issues with the brain, a physician needs compassion and patience. At least act like you care please! Disgusting. Does not get a passing grade.
