The appointment in this review was a couple weeks ago. I've got some pretty severe pain happening in regions pertinent to the study of urology. I rode MARTA for an hour to get to the place, then waited over 90 minutes to get in for my appointment, with a female doctor, as the male doctor I requested was off on an emergency. She gave me a cursory exam, claimed to have looked at my previous CT and ultrasound, and said that there was nothing causing the pain.

She recommended going to one of the pain specialists in the city (whose business cards she gave me), where they would inject pain meds directly into the afflicted region. I explained this situation to my general practitioner (a resident at Emory), and he said that this was exactly how they tend to deal with drug-seekers. He also saw several things on my scans this supposed specialist missed. Needless to say, I'm pissed.
