Dr. Houston is a 5+++++++. He was amazing with my child - kind, patient, attentive - everything I could have wanted and more. The facility is new and clean. Up until my experience with the doctor, and in room staff, I'd rate our appointment a 1. There are nine check-in counters. Immediately giving off the impression that we are numbers, not patients. Trying to have a pleasant conversation with the receptionist that yelled, Next!, I was just handed an ipad.

No time for small talk or human interactions. There was a larger waiting room with a ton of people and we waited just about an hour. Once we met with the doctor, again, he was amazing. But it's always disheartening when an awesome doctor is in an office with an unfriendly staff.

Overall positive experience at Coastal ENT. I could have done with shorter wait times (as with any doctors office). All the staff is competent and friendly. The front desk people have a good understanding of how billing works and willing to talk you through it, which I appreciate because it's my biggest anxiety with going to any doctor.

My husband just had his second visit with Dr. Houston. Dr. Houston's is a very personable & compassionate Dr. He is extremely knowledgeable concerning his profession. He goes out of his way to equip you with helpful advice for your overall health, which is much appreciated. I would highly recommend him if you're looking for a wonderful otolaryngologist Thank you Dr. Houston & staff. Will B

Dr. Danielle Wall, the audiologist for coastal hearing did a wonderful job giving me a hearing test and adjusting my hearing aids to my new test. She took her time helping me with my phone app explaining what different features where on it. I was extremely satisfied.

Had an appointment at 4:30pm, which THEY canceled at 8am the morning of, without telling us. Apparently they left a voicemail a few days prior confirming a payment to a credit card that I had on file, but since I didn't return the voicemail, they didn't charge the card and then decided to cancel the appointment the morning of (listening back, the voicemail was not clear that they desired me to call back and confirm, nor did they say they would cancel the appointment if I didn't).

The reason I had the card on file was for it to be charged as needed. People are busy and breeze over voice mails, it's life. Regardless, after they decided to cancel the appointment the morning of the actual appointment, . now this is laughable so get ready. we received a text from the automated system at 9am (1 hour later) asking us to confirm the appointment, which we responded to.

You would think that at this point someone would have at least reached out to tell us that the appointment was actually canceled, right. especially after we replied and confirmed the appointment? No. Instead, they let me drive 30 minutes to arrive there at 4:30 only to then tell me that it was canceled. Logic? Nope. Common sense? Nope. Basic decency? You guessed it. Nope.

I've never written a bad review before but just want to save people from this sneaky business! They charged me for services I never had or needed and gave me no option to fix it. I have health insurance and work in healthcare so I understand what's going on. When I called them to figure out why I had all the charges they told me it wasn't going to collections but when I got home it had already been sent. Apparently it happens often (I know one other person that went and had the same experience) so save your money and don't go to these scammers!

I had an appointment with the audiologist, Brad Buchholtz, who thoroughly re-evaluated my hearing aides as I had been having difficulty with them. He was able to make some changes that have made a huge improvement in the clarity of my hearing. His determination and his expertise have made quite a difference in my day to day interactions. Thank you!

My 90 year young mother required an emergency appointment, which the staff scheduled within 24 hours. Mom met with Dr. Parker who in turn managed to have her also seen by Dr. Houston. Dr. Houston was on his way out to do rounds at the hospital, but took his lunch break to see and remedy my mother's medical condition. She was then returned to Dr. Parker for completion of her appointment. Professional, caring, gentle are a few of the words which come to mind. Thank you so very much. She left your office a much relieved patient.

Stay far away! I feel compelled to write a review as I am absolutely horrified by Coastal ENTs lack of compassion and patient satisfaction. I drove a half hour to my appointment to be told they would have to reschedule me for having my 5 mo. old baby with me. When asking the manager to make a one time exception as I hadn't realized my baby qualified as " a visitor " she was rude and obnoxious.

I have been a patient of them for a few years but trust me going forward I will make sure to find a different Dr. that is actually reasonable and accommodating. I will also make sure to let my friends and family who I previously referred to Coastal, to stay far away as his office staff is rude, nasty and unaccommodating. Behavior like this is unacceptable and not professional. Find yourself an office that values your business.

Worst experience ever. I was in pain and was refused to be seen. I have a terrible ear pain. Simply needed some drops. Upon making an appointment I explained I had sinusitis week prior took z pack was fine. Also informed that my covid test came back negative which was done fThursday five days PRIOR! I told this to the person that gave me an appointment.

On my flight back August 28 2021 Saturday, when I landed my ears felt like I pooped an eardrum. That was three days ago and I still can't hear and I am experiencing terrible pain as a result. The doctor Dr. Banes did not even come in the room. She sent employee to tell me she was not going to see me. ( I took a covid test before coming because it's required for me to do so before I go back to work.

And I was honest, it was for work) I explain I have no symptoms. just simply ear pain. Dr banes still refused to see me. Although I was in so much pain. Very unprofessional! If the office has policy's that they can't see a patient that took a recent covid test they should have told me this. I traveled an 45 minutes. I would have given a 0 for stars but it wasn't an option. Before you make an appointment keep mind you might be refused treatment!
