The maternity center at geisinger bloomsburg is absolutely wonderful! The nurses and midwives are so friendly, caring, accommodating and considerate. My daughter gave birth there May 10 2022 and both her and her fiance were so pleased with all the staff there. I too am so grateful to all the wonderful nurses and midwife who cared for my daughter and my new grand daughter. Exactly how the birthing experience should be.

Wife delivered our child here blood pressure was very high so they gave her magnesia for bp also had to check her muscle reflex every 15-30 minutes we're the one nurse look like she was swinging a baseball bat to do a muscle reflex nurse got very aggravated screamed for somebody else want to give this a try, they discriminate against any of your past, wife just had to change her own bed sheets they don't come in there and clean the room during 'COVID-19 can't bring a child up there to see the mother or the other siblings because of covid. Bloomsburg hospital staff is just outright rude disrespectful and disgusting.

Geisinger Bloomsburg has always been the best experience for a hospital for my family. The young students make some of the most kind staff. They are always eager to help or on your side with solving problems.

Horrible service this was our first ultrasound after losing our baby in October. First our appointment was for 10 am we had to ask twice to be seen and when we finally got back. The ultrasound technician was very rude and said she was backed up even though we saw people come after us and got seen before us for ultrasounds. Then she asks how many pregnancies my gf had (which is a normal question) my gf replies this is her 3rd pregnancy she said so you have two at home we say no.

No type empathy no sry to hear that or anything. The last time we go to this hospital we will drive another 25 minutes to Daniville like we have been doing previously. We were even discussing having our baby there before this experience but actually the pregnancy before the ultrasound sound tech was very rude so this is strike #2. Definitely having our baby in Daniville they need to hire new friendly ultrasound technicians.

I was admitted to the hospital and there's multiple times I had to send my meals back cause the food that was to be hot was cold, some of the nurses and aids aren't very friendly but they are tolerateable, and one of the days they even didn't wake me up so I ended up not waking up for one of the meals.

Please for the love of god don't go here if you're in pain, I've got chronic pancreatitis and several other conditions that cause severe pain and the ED refuses to do scans, give medication or admit you if your labs look normal to them despite any other symptoms you have

If I could give them -0 stars I would. My 20 year old daughter went in with severe lower stomach pain, a low grade fever and urine full of blood. They told her they could not find anything wrong and sent her home advising her to take Tylenol. They also kept asking her if she was sure it wasn't her period. How completely insulting. The next day, in even more pain she drove herself to Danville. Turns out not only did she have a UTI but she also had inflamed kidneys caused by ecoli bacteria. She has now been in the hospital for 2 days. Something that probably could have been prevented if they had cared or bothered to do their job correctly.

I usually have terrible experiences with Geisinger no matter where i go but let me just say, Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital was by far the best one yet. the staff was beyond amazing. i had 4 different nurses, an aide & 2 doctors checking on me at least every 20 minutes. making sure i was warm, comfortable & asking if i needed anything at all. making sure the medication was working. even made sure my boyfriend was comfortable & he wasn't even the patient! i have never felt so at ease being in an emergency room in my life. usually i'm tense & i just want to leave as fast as possible but i truly felt cared for. & i am in no way bashing hospitals in my area ( i'm from Wilkes/Barre ) but i have just never received this level of care before. like they really listened to me & what was wrong & did everything they could to make sure i left feeling better.

I had an emergency surgery done, and my surgeon Dr Lozo was very nice. My favorite nurse was an Asian lady named Kelly! She gets a 5 star rating! She was sooo sweet and understanding. She didn't make me feel bad for asking for pain relief medication like the other nurses I had during my 3 day stay did. The respiratory therapy lady was horrible! She asked me to blow into this machine and I couldn't due to the pain. She never came back in to check my lungs and breathing before being discharged a day later.

People are nice but I don't get it how I can't go in with my fiance and my 4 month old to check his milestones and if there is any issues or etc. I heard there is only a few people that have COVID. I feel like there should be a acceptation with wearing n-95 mask. Like you check my temperature and then just Throw me out. But also I see old couples and more than 2 people going into the pediatrics. Disrespectful and disappointing. Go to woodbine and have your baby checked out there cause you can have a family go in at the same time.
