Morris Hospital - Mark T Gibson

I was seen due to an injured elbow. I was in the worst pain that I have ever experienced. The hospital staff were great! They quickly did the x-rays in the ER room. After the results, pain medication and inflammatory medication was giving to me. Male nurse was a hotter and very sweet. The staff was very professional and kind. My doctor advised me on the cause of my elbow pain.

It wasn't broken! I was given prescriptions and a sling. I was worried about the reviews but I seen nothing negative about this hospital! I will use this hospital again if needed.

When admitting my son into the ER on March 9th at 4am the attending ER intake nurse (Scott) was 100% unprofessional by exerting unnecessary aggression with handling his IV, sloppily administering his care in the room with throwing discards onto the floor, taking exception of his check-in credentials, muttering derogatory explisitves while outside the room. Making it a complete uncomfortable experience.

If I could rate lower then a 1, I WOULD! A disappointing /unsettling health care experience. How individuals like this, get hired into the healthcare industry - is BEYOND me. :/

Not only was some of the staff racist and unfair to my Mexican father and sister. But they nearly let me die of internal bleeding because I was already diagnosed with an ovarian cyst. There was a rude nurse who told me to shut up and to stop screaming when I was in extreme pain. Dr. Fitsgibbons was the only person with a brain that I truly appreciated and liked.

She is a very kind person and actually cares about her patients. Had I ignored my pain and stayed home I would have died a slow painful death because they didn't want to look further into me quickly filling up with liquids despite telling them I had just went to the bathroom.

This is the worst hospital ever to exist. Their ER IS TERRIBLE, they discharge patients for THEIR OWN SCHEDULING ERRORS, they discriminate against people with mental illness and disabilities they are ignorant of. They've killed and nearly killed many of my loved ones from malpractice. They have a revolving door for employees. They are lazy, rude, uneducated, disrespectful, and have not one ounce of bedside manner in and out of the hospital.

They hire off "who they know" basis over qualifications. Snotty, uptight, and all around terrible behavior. HIPPA laws are always being broken from their big mouths. I wish I could give Morris hospital and healthcare centers a negative star rating. If you want to live, stay far away from there.

Amy on East wing is the best nurse she is very attentive and very patient. She works nights I think. Thank you so much for caring Amy

A sincere thank you to Morris Hospital ER. The entire staff on the night shift 1-11-22 are truly professionals. It was obvious how busy they are during this pandemic, yet the care and attention they gave me was above and beyond the call of duty. I appreciate you. Mike Kennedy

Just wanted to say thankyou to the staff and everyone at Morris hospital for getting me back home. From the outpatient staff, surgical, icu and 2nd floor south wing nurses you guys and ladies are the reason I'm home today. I'd put all your names but honestly don't remember most of them but all of y'all deserve credit for saving my life. There's a reason I'll drive 30 minutes instead of 10 for my care and you all are the reasons why.

Hope y'all have a Happy New Year. Thankyou again for saving my life. If I forgot any department you're all in this because I know you're moving around departments and not everyone was where they're supposed to be. Thank a nurse, doctor or whoever you see because you never know what they're going through or what pressure they're under. I'm thankful for all of them.

My aunt was sadly taken to the ER and was so touched by the care she received from one of her nurses named Audrey. She said she was caring and attentive and mentioned that this has not been the case in the past. Thank you Audrey for taking such good care of her!

Had to go there for 3 days, 2 night's. 1) the beds are extremely uncomfortable. 2) while the nurses were polite, and tried to be helpful, they were pretty bad when it came to putting IV lines in. After 6 attempts, they finally had to bring in a ICU nurse to do it right. 3) instead having showers, they give you antibacterial body whipes to clean yourself with. I'd never willing go back to this hospital again. The only reasons you'd find me there, is if I was taken there while I was unconscious, or it is an absolute emergency!

Went in recently for a procedure. Finding a vein to draw blood was difficult at best. There were two gals running the afternoon and night shift that did a terrific job! once they found the vein, it was in and out, with very little discomfort. And that is not typically the case for me! The nursing staff was also terrific! Thank you all for the kind and expert care!
