Time and time again I've had problems in the clinic.with different providers. Overall appalled by the lack of quality care offered, if you get any care at all

This was a bit ago but honestly it's been on my mind a lot. We used to live in trinidad and my husband is a type 1 diabetic. When we lived in trinidad he was still fairly new to his diabetes as he was diagnosed as an adult. We went to the ER for severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and his blood sugar would not come down. Not only were we told he just needed to stop smoking pot but we went multiple times and during one of those times a nurse told us we wouldnt be getting any pain meds and "do you have a warm place to stay tonite?" (It was very late at night so we were in sweatpants).

One stay yielded 14 days in the hospital with the doctor telling him that he had acid reflux. Turns out my husband kept.going into DIABETIC KETOACIDOSIS and it had nothing to do with pot. We just take care of his DKA at home if it happens because why go.to a hospital for insulin therapy when they wont believe you? Not everyone who is vomiting with stomach pain is there for pot. But this hospital wouldnt know that. Dont bother telling them that you have diabetes or.uncontrolled blood sugar. It wont matter.

I am so sick. I called to get a Covid test. They want me to go to the Community Center and wait in line with 100 other people to get tested. I do not want to bring my illness around all those people. They refused to let me do a drive through test and insisted that I go to the Community Center because the people doing the testing are prepared for Covid cases.

I drove down there. The people doing the testing are prepared, the people in line for testing are not. I do not feel comfortable going into a crowded space and spreading my illness. It is irresponsible for a hospital to ask me to do so. Unbelieveable how little these people care for this community when something might inconvenience them.

I was camping in Spanish Peaks when I got food poisoning and could not stop throwing up. Like I threw up 30 times, and then started vomiting blood. So we rushed here in the middle of the night to the ER and they got me back immediately, ran labs, did an IV and gave me anti-nausea meds through IV. Was there for about 3 hours, and they were attentive and caring and it was super clean inside. Over-all good experience, but I have not received the bill yet haha.

This hospital is hit and miss! I have had a few encounters with very sweet and caring health care workers here. There are a few nurses and doctors in particular that are awesome and will do their job to the best of their ability and actually care about your health. But for the most part, I have been rather displeased. My 1st encounter the doctor was rude to my husband and told him the emergency room was for life threatening emergencies only. However, he got hurt at work after the clinic had closed and had no primary doctor due to the fact we had just moved from alabama. 2nd encounter, they didn't have any of the necessary supplies for my 5 year old son who broke his foot and suggested I go try to find the supplies at a pharmacy. 3rd encounter the ultrasound tech had me insert the transvaginal probe myself and then refused to allow me to have a copy of my baby's 1st ultrasound.

They told me it was not part of their policy to supply mothers with copies and I wasnt allowed to take a picture of the screen either. I just feel that with all the grant money they received they could fully stock and supply their facility with the proper supplies and equipment instead of adding new decor and paint!

I am posting about my husbands experiences at emerency room on Dec 14th and 15th. He has covid with breathing issues. Was treated well 1st day, however sent home with covid and pneumonia, no antibiotic for pneumonia. Next day phone visit with primary care doctor, told to go back to Trinidad emergency room, needed to be hospitalized forbreathinv issuez.

Doctor would call ER and explain what was needed. My husband was treated poorly because he went back to Trinidad ER. NO COMPASSION OR CARE OR COMMON CURTESY PROVIDED. My husband is fighting for his life and did not deserve to be treated badly. SHAME ON YOU, IS THIS HOW YOU WOULD TREAT YOUR LOVED ONE!

One of the worst experiences I've had. My wife went into labor, and they told us they couldn't do anything to help the baby if it was not completely healthy, and sent us driving in our personal vehicle to Pueblo. My daughter who was just born had some eye irritation and we took her in, they sent us home and four days later we are in Memorial Hospital in CO Springs because it became severe, when we were told by Mt. San Raphael that it would pass. Worst staff I've ever seen, the "doctor" almost seemed irritated to be helping us.

He was rough on my 2 month old child to the point that I had to step in and take my daughter from him. They want you in and out, and if it's to serious for their liking they send you somewhere else. I will NEVER go here again, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else

Worst hospital in all of Colorado. You will not receive proper care or attention and you can guarantee they will send you an outrageous bill. Maybe you have good enough insurance that you won't see it, but I had pretty decent insurance and was still nailed with almost a $3,000 bill after my car wreck just for them to sit me in bed for three hours and then tell me to leave.

This is not even the first horrible experience with this hospital. I have had three other visits with family and it was the same soulless, heartless and and careless treatment. This hospitalnonly sees you as a number, and while they are in bheaet of expansion that number has a dollar sign before it. Greedy, irresponsible and unprofessional.

The ER staff was kind and efficient while taking care of my grandmother. They promptly treated my grandma and got her transfered to a higher level of care. My grandma felt safe and well taken care of at Mt. San Rafael Hospital.

Instead of helping me they caused more damage and distress. Worst doctors and staff I have ever experienced in a health care environment. The "doctor" had very poor communication and little emotional intelligence. Also ill informed about rabies. But doctors know everything right? I am a disabled Veteran. This hospital treated me very poorly. They did not help me but only made matters far worse. I urge you to go somewhere else. I'd rather drive to Denver.
