The City of Naperville, incorporated in 1857, is located in the northeastern part of the state which is the top growth area in Illinois. Naperville is 28 miles west of downtown Chicago and occupies a land area of 37.58 square miles with a population of 136,380. The city has grown by over 35,000 residents in the past 10 years.
Your eye has a clear lens through which light passes allowing you to see. When the lens loses its transparency, the cloudy tissue that develops is known as a cataract. Cataracts cause progressive, painless loss of vision. The lens clouds naturally as we age, so people over the age of 65 usually see a gradual reduction of vision.

I have been using Naperville Eye Assoc for many years. Dr Debartolo and Dr Kim are thorough, professional, and caring. I use contacts and glasses and get good care ffor both. The front desk is polite and helpful.

I just returned from my visit with Dr. Cox, which as usual, was a delightful experience. I have been a patient here for 15+ years, and the doctors and staff have always taken the best care of me (and my eyes). I appreciate the time & patience spent by Dr. Cox, and his assistants, Shana & Jamie. They are thorough, and take time to make sure everything is "Just Right." I highly recommend this practice!

This was my favorite doctors office and had gone there for years. Everyone at the front desk is really nice and friendly. Dr. DeBartolo is also really funny and makes the appointment more fun.

I've never left a bad review for a doctor but I will not be going back to this place. They have what I consider unethical billing practices. They don't return phone calls and the billing person Samantha treated me very disrespectfully.

Beware of how they do their billing to insurance. They don't accept vision coverage but instead use your medical. The way they code the bill is not covered under medical insurance. Went to another practice for a second opinion who did the same exact exams/testing for my daughter and they processed the payment correctly with my medical insurance. I was left having to pay out of pocket for this place as they do not bill medical insurance correctly.

I have very good insurance and this is clearly an issue with this place. The place just told me it's my insurance issue when it clearly is not. If they are going to act like a specialist they need to bill you like one. Avoid this place or pay out of pocket!

I made an appointment with this practice because I wanted to have an exam by an ophthalmologist. Instead, my exam was with an optometrist. I have worn contact lenses for over 40 years, and this was the first time I ever had to make two separate appointments - one for glasses and a second for contact lenses. The front desk staff and technicians were very friendly and efficient! I do not plan to return!

The manager, the technician, and the doctor were very kind and helpful. I would give them 10/10. They did their job with ease and made me feel like this was a nice place but the front desk staff? I now see why all their negative reviews come from them they are rude, short, and not informative. They also do not care to help patients and were actually sarcastic with me when I asked why my charges were what they were. I am not sure how those women got hired. not helpful at all. If you don't want to assist patients do not be front line of customer service.

The only reason I'm giving NEA two stars is because I really like the Ophthalmologist, Dr DeBartolo. I've been coming here with my family for years, and I finally had enough of the support staff; the front desk staff in particular. Coldest and rudest, front desk staff I've ever dealt with. Multiple members of my family have experienced this rudeness and I've witnessed this behavior with others while waiting for appointments. How certain members of the staff are allowed to get away with their treatment of patients, I have no idea. There are other great ophthalmologists who also have great staff.
