The focus of the first visit is treating current problems you are having, using natural therapies. Dr. Ruhland earned his doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in 1998. He was trained at the Hyperbaric Oxygen Department of Virginia Mason Hospital. Dr. Ruhland taught for five years at Bastyr University.

Cancer, Tumors - Please note: We are a Naturopathic Clinic in Washington State; while treating cancer is outside of our scope of practice, we can offer complementary care for patients with cancer who are under the care of an osteopathic or medical physician. Oxidative therapies are used for a broad spectrum of health challenges.
The office is located in a residential area east of Jefferson Park on Beacon Hill on the corner of 25th Ave. S and Andover St. South. Because these streets are one-block long segments, and not continuous with other sections of 25th Ave. S or Andover St. South, we are only accessible from Cheasty Blvd.
Bring any recent laboratory reports, as well as a list of medications and supplements you are taking. We recommend a hair analysis for all new patients in order to check for heavy metal toxicity. Due to patient allergies and chemical sensitivities, please refrain from wearing cologne or perfume. Please leave electronic devices, including cell phones and computers, in your car, in order to protect other patients who have electronic sensitivities. All new patients are required to write-in this confidential form before an exam or consultation.

Dr. John Ruhland is a human angel. He is very compassionate, very caring and listens to his patience. He is the top-notch best homeopathic doctor I've ever met! I tried other alternative doctors before And I've never felt as healthy as I feel now with Dr. John. I have seen Dr. John for 10 years for me and my kids and he has dramatically changed our lives.
I was suffering severe depression which really impacted taking care of my kids, working, and being active. Because of Dr. John, I am now an active mother who is very involved with her kids and full of energy, and is really becoming invested in my kids lives with extracurriculars. For my kids, he's changed them positively. They weren't doing well academically, and my son was extremely hyper.

I am very thankful I found Dr. Ruhland. He has helped me and my family when traditional medicine failed. He has earned my trust, and I am deeply grateful for his gift in natural medicine. Prior to finding Dr. Ruhland, I had never sought alternative medicine and was somewhat apprehensive about it. However, the lack of findings and guesstimates by traditional medicine simply left me no other choice but to look for the alternative in natural medicine. It was the best thing I opted for.
