I was basically shrugged off. Came in for pain in my calf and thigh. They took xrays, but was told by my doctor basically that I'm too fat for them to help. Couldn't even get a brace because he said my leg is too big? Never been so offended by a medical practice. I expected much more from this place, which is why I made the 40 minute drive. Disappointing.

I wish they gave option for 10 stars. Dr. Klifto and his nurse assistant has always been stellar and have seen me and my son both. I wish my brother could come to NC from Florida to have his surgery don here with him.

I had 2 hips replaced by Dr. Scott S. Kelley this year after they began deteriorate. He did the work in the middle of the Covid mess, so April & June & they are doing sooooo well now in November. I can walk again. I have developed a sciatica for which I have see Dr. Tawney at the same clinic and am going through physical therapy at the same clinic.

All stop shopping for those of us with messed up bones! LOL The doctors are professional, good listeners, know their specialty, & are fantastic about letting you know they are serious about your procedure and the healing thereafter. Their staffs, Emily, Adrian, & right hand guy, Jamey Messersmith for Dr. Kelley & Malinda for Dr. Tawney are kind, informative, & efficient. No fear here, just great work! Thanks to all! Q

I wish I could give Dr. Klifko's office more stars but until they root out the unnecessarily rude behaviour of the screening person at the door (Kim?). It was confusing to know where to check in and the lady berated me repeatedly. I will say that Dr. Klifko is an outstanding doctor and deserves better representation. I came very close to the first time ever walking out of an appointment except that it was an urgent need.

So thankful for Dr. Kristo and staff, both in office and at Duke Regional Hospital. So caring and compassionate with me. Most definitely will recommend to others!

Two months ago, I had a total hip replacement by Dr. Scott Kelley. It's an amazing procedure. I was most impressed by the efficiency of North Carolina Orthpaedics and how everyone from Dr. Kelley to Jamie Messersmith to the rest of the staff took time to provide high quality and and to answer all of my questions. I had full confidence being with such a top notch surgeon and well trained staff. Additionally, the care from everyone at Duke Regional Hospital was exceptional.

So the initial consult was great, Dr. Klifto was very helpful, super kind, very knowledgeable. I had to bring my kids with me to the appointment and, he even went out of his way to bring them a cupcake. The reason why I'm giving this Clinic a 2-star is because there was no communication when it was almost 2 days before my scheduled surgery. So I had been speaking with a clinic but it wasn't this direct Clinic they told me I needed to get in contact with NC Orthopedic Clinic.

Fast forward I spoke to someone named Vergie. When I spoke with her it seemed like I was bothering her when I was asking questions and trying to make sure stuff was clear and that I understood what she was saying. So someone calls me about an hour after she said they would give me a call, mind you I had been calling and talking to the other clinic for 2 days before NC ortho finally returned my call. 2 days before my scheduled surgery, they told me oh we can't do it because we can't find time to get doctor Klifto another location because of your BMI.

My BMI has been on my chart since forever, why wasn't it scheduled appropriately when I initially made the confirmation for the surgery. They knew my BMI then so it should have been handled differently. My scheduled surgery is on the 5th of November. They offer to reschedule it for November 29th. I'm not happy at the way they handle this so I will not be scheduling my surgery with them, I was coming from another city and I had already taken off my leave for work and so did my spouse.

I'm highly pissed. This was very unprofessional. I will be scheduling my surgery with someone else! ***And when someone from the other office called someone put in the wrong hand for surgery! If, i wouldnt, have said something they would've been, doing surgery on the wrong hand!

It is hard to believe that 4 weeks ago I was in an Operating Room at Duke Regional getting a hip replacement. I want to thank Dr. Rhett Hallows surgical and support team for their amazing care and communications before and throughout the hospital stay and after. A huge shout out to the nursing and support staff in the Ortho Care unit. Thank you for letting me get 4 hours sleep that night.

The physical and occupational therapy team was great. They got me up and moving quickly and often. 31.5 hours after checking in I was heading home. Ellissa my home PT support was great and pushed me. Now I am an Outpatient of the Duke Sports Medicine Center. I can happily say that I am virtually pain free and pretty much on my own doing exercises and daily Tasks.even driving to work and checking up on the team.

I was impressed with this facility from the second I walked in the door! Everyone was so friendly, caring and knowledgeable! I have been to several offices and didn't receive anything close to the quality of care that was received here. Dr Rhett Hallows is amazing, I finally feel that I'm getting the care I need and he has a genuine care for his patients. I would give them 10 stars. based on one visit, X-rays, exam and injection! Can't say enough wonderful things!
