Most uncomfortable experience of my life. I had a male gynecologist and he belittled me. When he weighed me, he said I weighed too little so I needed to take my clothes off to get my actual weight. Then continued to say that it was unacceptable and that I should be put on birth control. I did not want birth control due to my mental health and the hormones but he just kept pushing it.

I also told him that I have slept with both male and female partners and he gave a dirty look and wrote it down. He made little comments towards me that made me feel as if I couldn't tell him the truth about my health. Instead of making me feel comfortable and safe it felt as if he was not on my side. He didn't talk about other options to help with my weight besides birth control. This was such a horrible and uncomfortable experience. I just wish to feel safe when I see a doctor.

Really disappointed with the complete lack of professionalism with this office. First, they lost my referral (twice) and I was forced to wait 4 weeks until they found it and were able to book me, after FINALLY being booked they cancel my appointment less then 48 hours before my appointment because now the doctor has meetings that day. Why would they book me when he has meetings?

Feeling extremely frustrated I agreed to reschedule for the following week, and guess what, THEY CANCELED ME AGAIN! Again less than 48 hours before my appointment. This time the doctor has surgeries scheduled when the appointment is. I live 3 hours away and my husband has to request time off to watch our 3 children for me to make the appointment, Not to mention I am being told I need this test done to confirm cervical cancer.

I have been waiting over 6 weeks to get in with this office and all they care about is not inconveniencing themselves. It's sad a healthcare provider has such a lack of care for its patients. I hope this review is seen by some sort of management and another patient doesn't have to experience this and can get answers about their cancer in a timely manner.

I've interacted with their OB/GYN department, and all the doctors, nurses and midwives are great. What I want to say is there are some serious problems with their billing department. They bill the incorrect insurance company and they have problems to correct it. In April 2021 I switched my insurance from Aetna to BCBS, and in June the bills were all correctly billed to my new insurance.

But in July I noticed a statement I got wasn't shown in my insurance account. Later there is another statement like that. I called North County and was told they sent them to Aetna, and I should wait to pay for the two visits while they bill BCBS. I never got the new statements. I had a follow up call in a couple months, and asked at the front desk during a visit.

The front desk person told me those two bills were never sent to the correct insurance - so she put a note there and told me to wait for the correct statements. In Jan 2022 I delivered my baby and got a bill. I paid that bill, but later on got another bill saying my bill in January was partially paid and I have a balance in my account. So they applied part of my payment to the two incorrect bills from last year.

I called, and was told there's zero balance to all the 2021 bills, so they can't do anything. I need to contact my insurance for a refund. The person even asked me to find someone to help me understand the procedure. Excuse me? If you couldn't bill the correct insurance and send me the correct bill, you should correct it. How could you expect a patient to ask her insurance for a refund for a claim they never received?

Finally the person from the billing department agrees to try to reimburse the amount applied to the two incorrect bills and bill my insurance. I don't know if that will work out, and how long it will take, given the experience I have had with the billing department.

I had a wonderful doctor, Dr Abbott. Unfortunately he had bad medical assistance/nurses. It seemed like the pandemic took a toll on him, because his stress rolled into my care. Like many of these reviews, I called and left message after message after message with no replies. Finally somebody told me that that person doesn't even work there anymore.

So who's checking her messages? Because, that was the phone number I was given if I needed to get a message to my doctor. The communication got so bad that my doctor said he didn't want to be my doctor anymore. I suffer from mental diagnosis and a physical handicap. I needed open-mindedness and understanding, not rejection and abandonment. If you're reading this, and you have any type of mental diagnosis, this is not the clinic for you.

It will stress you out, it will trigger you, and the doctors are already stressed and triggered themselves. So two triggered people trying to come up with ways to make life easier just doesn't work. They overwork these doctors. Their referral department is no good, which was another edition to the problem as to why I had to continue calling over and over.

Since I can't be there and do their job for them, I'm a troublemaker because I'm calling and trying to get them to do their job. Thanks for the feeling of abandonment. I highly suggest Northern Arizona Health Care over this clinic.

My doctor didn't listen to me and told me that a rash I had on my face was acne. Now I'm dealing with a severe case that is taking over my eye. Will never go back because the doctors don't listen to their patients but just dismiss them.

I have had a few good experiences with North Counrty. I absolutely love Bethany Davis, but her schedule doesn't work with mine. I stopped using them for my OB services. Now I'm in the process of switching my kids' pediatric services. This place has wasted too much of my time and caused too many hassles. Having all my doctors in one place was appealing, but this place just doesn't operate effectively. The automated phone system has always drove me bonkers as well.

Everytime we come for scheduled lab work, our lab work is never ready. We get to labcorp for lab work only to find our lab work was never ordered. We get sent back to the department and someone has to talk to our provider. When we don't do our lab work, our provider will give us a lovely lecture about how she needs it. Everytime we meet with our provider, I always ask if our paperwork will be ready. It always end with, "Yea. Just head over to the lab. They should already have it.". Always a hassle every time we come. What a disorganized company. So frustrating.

My family has been going to North country for many years. Started When I was in Grade school I started taking my children there Honestly this place has definitely gone down hill I have left message after message after message for my son's doctor The front desk has always told me we will get your message to the doctor we will have them contact you back.

I have had to go sit in there and wait for them to bring the doctor out to me and then the doctor tells me I'm sorry I have not received any of your messages. The front desk is terrible bad attitude, Disrespectful, Honestly I am thinking about changing Clinics and it's sad because it's not the doctors that are doing bad the doctors are so wonderful especially our doctor we see she is amazing Doctor song goes above and beyond for her patience I am absolutely thankful for her.

But the front desk they are definitely terrible at their job they don't relay the messages Especially when these are urgent messages. I cannot rely on this clinic anymore for care.

I loved this place till yesterday I had a really bad experience with the girl that does the COVID swab! She had me tilt my head and put the swap so hard in my nose for minutes and I told her she was hurting me but non catering! She told me to wait 10 minutes in my car and after a half an hour and a bloody nose I left to work! I had one in California and it was much nicer and professional and if you are going to be in the health care don't punish people and treat them right! Next I will call my insurance and some supervisor for this is not right!

When I 1st came to North Country healthcare I would have given it 5 stars. Since COVID-19 hit they must have downsized everywhere. You can't call in and talk to anyone without getting stuck on hold forever. My pharmacy has faxed in refills and they do not respond.

Saw them for an initial appointment for sebaceous cyst removal, they said they could do it and had me make another appointment. Other appointment was almost 2 months out, came for that appointment and they took measures of it and said they couldn't do it that day. Said they would send pictures and measurements to the other doctor and would make an appointment if she could do it. Said she could do it so I made another appointment a month out.

Appointment time comes, I walk 25 minutes in the snow to the doctors office they charge me for the visit before I even see them and the doctor ends up saying they can't do the cyst removal and that I need to see a plastic surgeon. They don't refund me for my visit either, complete waste of my time, time after time. Thanks for nothing and wasting my time.

This was the WORST lab experience that I have ever had in a lab. Very rude and uncomfortable and unprofessional. I had blood work drawn and was told to go to my car afterward and get a lab sample bring it back in to the lab instead of dropping it off in the mail. However, I had to sign back in and the lab tech "Shannon, " took every client before me after I signed in.

Other patients came in and signed at the end of a sheet that was filled and I started a new one, common sense. Anyway. I walk in the and yall her I was next. She states " I don't see your name on the sheet." I said, "Its right here on the new sign in sheet, and you didn't even ask me my name." I tell the lady that went ahead of me to go ahead, I'll wait, the lady said, no you go, I said no, go ahead." This is the second time i have been in this office.

It is discriminating with a capital "D!" I had to go back and forth about labs with the doctor (so did my husband), doctor refused to give us routine blood work, young lady at front desk for doctor appointments was rude and all she wanted to know is if I had in insurance. I am not from AZ, we relocated here a year ago and this was the first experience we have had with being treated different. I'm done with this office and we never return. It was a HORRIFIC Experience, that I would not wish on any patient.

If you care about yourself and your health, please do your homework with your insurance company and find Dr's not from this place, they do not care about their patients and let the staff treat them with disrespect and prejudices, unprofessional and unkind actions. And you are second in their oath, their first is their staff that represents them. Starting with the lab that lied to me and told me they didn't accept my insurance (that was a lie, I have since had blood work done with them) were you techs in the lab busy that day? Is that what you tell the people you don't like or don't want to service?

It's not hard to figure out your common practice when you have been exposed to the truth of it. lieve me, By the way Gyno dept., I will follow up with a decent surgeon, I wouldn't allow your Dr./Dr.s touch me with a ten foot pole! And wild horses couldn't drag me into your Arizona Country Healthcare facility.

I have been going to North Country for six years. During that time, I rarely saw the same doctor twice. Today I attempted to make an appointment with the PA who treated me earlier this year. I was told she was not taking new patients. Receptionist looked at my chart and could see that I had seen this provider. However, she insisted that I would be considered a new patient?

I have had nothing but fantastic customer service when I call to make an appt or just ask questions. Both Daniel and Sandra have helped me and they both made me feel like they really cared about me, they have positive energy and showed nothing but patience when dealing with me and all my questions! Thank you both for making my experience positive and leaving me with smiles! :D

Dr. Lee was the most professional and kind doctor I've ever had. No ones taken the time to explain things to me the way she did. Everyone in the office was extremely helpful and nice as well. I can't thank you all enough.

The worst Dr. Office in northern az. Ya'll need to do better. Like I've scene the same Dr. For a couple years and she asks me if we've ever met? Then you can send the bill to my current address but don't know where to send my lab work? Really? And that's not the first problem I've had there. Y'all generate a ton of revenue annually, but want to do the bare minimum.

Just do better. Obviously it will never be the best place up here, but you can definitely do much better. Everyone that works there has to realize by now, no one wants to come there anymore and are all looking for new Dr's. So, please, just do better.
