Northpointe Foot & Ankle Specialist Bunions are misaligned big toe joints that can become swollen and tender, causing the first joint of the big toe to slant outward, and the second joint to angle toward the other toes. With a diabetic foot, a wound as small as a blister from wearing a shoe that's too tight can cause a lot of damage.

Diabetes decreases blood flow, so injuries are slow to heal. Plantar fasciitis (or heel pain) is commonly traced to an inflammation on the bottom of the foot. Our practice can evaluate arch pain, and may prescribe customized shoe inserts called orthoses to help alleviate the pain.

10/10! two thumbs wayyyyyyy up! five stars! I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Chad and his office. They made the process of fixing my toe so easy and painless. He was able to explain to me every step of the process and ease all my anxiety as well as working quickly and efficiently to get me in and out and feeling better as soon as possible.

Not to mention they were able to get me into the office ASAP after I had put off getting it taken care of for so long. Although hopefully, I won't have to go into his office again anytime soon if I ever have an issue I will be back and recommend him to everyone I know having any issues with their feet!

This place is the best. I have never gotten better medical care than i have from Dr. Chad Schwalb and the medical assistants. Everyone is always pleasant when i arrive (even late because i cant walk), and the niceness just continues through your visit. Dr Chad is the best, i cannot type the words to describe how comfortable he made my broken toe process go, he never rushes me out or treats me like a number, super nice informative and good sense of humor. Go see Dr Chad and get good care!

From the second we walked through the door, Dr. Alan Schram and his staff went above and beyond for my 5 year old son. They did a fantastic job with the surgery and even decorated the office chair with balloons (made from surgical gloves) and a cool name tag for Sabastian. Thank you for going the extra mile, we could not be happier!

I had bunion removal surgery in 2008 and my foot STILL looks and feel fantastic. I went back to them for other foot issues until I moved out of state and have had nothing but great results, I had my husband go there in 2014 to take care of an issue he had and he's been please with the results. I could not recommend them more highly. I see many people who were unhappy with office staff.

I would never rate a doctor based on the office staff, but I would, instead let the doctors know your displeasure with their staff. People are coming to reviews for excellent medical care and if they are missing out on this because the chick up front ticked you off, is that fair to the potential patient? Just my two cents.

I wanted to take a moment to send an important note regarding Ms. Maxine, who is a staff member at Northwest Podiatry. I have been coming to Dr. Schram since 2009, and most recently since December 2015 when I had a new surgery. Dr. Schram is awesome! And so is Dr. Hoffman! But two great leaders such as these extremely skilled and personable physicians need a team of consummate professionals to support their mission to provide excellent care. Maxine is the first person I encounter when I enter the office for each visit and she is the embodiment of someone who is consistently kind, caring and professional.

She is knowledgeable and is quick to assist in any and EVERY way. She is customer-oriented, customer-focused and customer-driven. While the entire team supporting Dr. Schram had been great to work with, Maxine has been EXCEPTIONAL. As a busy corporate executive, time and accuracy were very important in helping to expedite my care and the insurance approvals.

I really am glad that she has been on hand to assist me with information, appointment updates, even bandages! Thanks also to Dr. Schram for being a great doctor, and for having a great team! V. Williams

The staff is completely rude! The front desk receptionist (Maxine). I called to make an appointment for the following week for my results and my treatment and she disregarded everything I said and she wouldn't allow me to make an appointment with NO GOOD REASON. So three days later the Medical Assistant called me with my MRI results, she had NO clue how to read the results nor pronounce them.

I had to tell her what it was. She told me she'd call me back in 10 minutes, she didn't. 3 days later I called and the rude receptionist, MAXINE stated the clueless Dr. Schram mailed me the results because I was the rude one. Okay, yeah right! The doctor didn't look at my foot he just came in with a diagnosis and said here's a brace. I told him I am having "these issues" he said okay. That was it. I have to find another doctor to treat me. I'm glad I don't have to deal with the rude staff now though
