A Hancock County native, Dr. Bret Bahn received his undergraduate degree at The University of Findlay. He went on to obtain his Medical Degree from the University of Toledo and following this training, served as a US Naval Flight Surgeon on active duty. He deployed twice with the Marine Corps in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
At NWO, our physicians offer complete care in orthopedic services from preventative care to diagnosis and treatment including rehabilitation. Dr Brian Hecht performs general surgery procedures of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, foot and ankle. He also performs arthroscopic surgeries of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle.
Bruce E. Heck, M. D. graduated from Youngstown State University (1986-1988) at the age of 20 with Bachelor of Science in Combined Science (Summa Cum Laude). Dr. Heck received his M.D. From Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM/NEOMED) in 1992 where he was inducted a member of Alpha Omega Alpha in his junior year.
Dr. Doug Steiner is a Hancock County native, graduating from Cory-Rawson High School in 2005. He completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Findlay in 2008 with Magna Cum Laude honors. He earned his medical degree at The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013, where he was awarded with the Outstanding Medical Student Award in the Centers of Osteopathic Research and Education.

I went to therapy at Nwo Findlay for severe lower back pain. I was assigned to Team Anna. After one month my pain was minimal. At 2 months I have 0 pain and I have my life back! I would give 20 stars! Thank you! Amazing job well done! Would totally recommend to anyone with back issues! Wonderful staff!

The people are nice and helpful. They treat us like someone not just a number. The front Office girls know their stuff and are always eager to help. I haven't seen therapy yet put I didn't have problems with them before. My Dr. Actually took x-rays and confirmed what I already knew that my leg and knee were swollen. I also like the Physical Therapy people. This is a great place to go if you are hurting.

Everyone was very friendly at this very clean & bright facility. My husband was there for a CT scan. He was called back before his scheduled time & was back out in under ten minutes. We went to breakfast & the CD's for our doctor & us were done when we came back. This is our second time using them & would definitely recommend them.

Dr. Steiner and his team were amazing with my 5 year old son after he fractured his elbow. From the initial consultation, through 2 surgeries, physical therapy, and his final follow-up appointment, they provided not only excellent care to my son, but also excellent support and communication to my husband and I as his parents. The doctors and staff are amazing! No long waits and Great results! I came for a second opinion and will never go anywhere else! Thanks to the staff, PT included.
