The CDC is not yet recommending a 2nd booster for pregnant women unless they have coexisting medical conditions which make them immunocompromised. If you have any questions about your eligibility for a 2nd booster, please discuss this with your provider. Update as of 4/1/22: Northwest Women's Healthcare has recently updated the support person policy to allow one adult support person to accompany you to your appointment.

We do still require masks to be worn by everyone in office. We acknowledge the. We have been busy finding ways to provide better patient care and service to all of our wonderful patients!

The beauty of the Pacific Northwest brought her to Seattle after graduation, and she worked at a biotechnology start-up prior to attending medical school at the University of Washington.
Dr. Jennifer Melville is from Pennsylvania and Texas, where she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with an undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts. She attended medical school at the University of California, Los Angeles, and then moved to Seattle to complete her OB/GYN residency at the University of Washington.
Dr. Lauren Pray is originally from the Detroit area, and did her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan. She attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University and completed her OB/GYN residency at Magee Women's Hospital at the University of Pittsburgh. After completing her training in 2007 she joined Northwest Women's Healthcare, and couldn't imagine a better practice or group of partners.

This office is filled with caring, wonderful, knowledgeable and helpful staff-front desk, lab, RNs and doctors. Do not hesitate to go here for care! I feel so thankful, listened to, helped and cared for here! I had an enormous uterine fibroid that would have gone undetected if it weren't for the diligence of Dr Lorentz and the care plan and surgery from Dr Melville who helped me be fibroid-free. Also Hailey and Bianca for their amazing communication and care. Words can't express how thankful I am for NWWHC.

I've been having an unregular cycle for six years. I went to five different doctors, all of whom dismissed my problems as "just stress." My first appointment with Dr Jiao was in January 2022. In April, she performed a hysterectomy. Six years of trying to get things taken care of, and she resolved it in four months, without putting me through a bunch of painful and unnecessary testing. When I requested a hysterectomy, she offered me alternative, less invasive options, but ultimately respected my wishes. I highly recommend this clinic.

The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. I've seen Betsey Anderson a few times and she makes sure you have all the information and talks through everything she's doing so you are aware and comfortable. Recently I went in to discuss BC and was able to have in depth conversation about my options to decide which one would be best for me and my body. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I have been a patient with NW Woman's Healthcare for over 30 years. They guided me through 2 pregnancies and now both children have grown up. When the wonderful Dr. Karen Bohmke retired I transitioned my care to Dr. Elena Hannon. I am very impressed with her knowledge and empathetic care. I feel very lucky to be a patient of Dr. Hannon!

I feel in such good hands with Shelley Miksis, NP, and am grateful to have been part of this patient/provider partnership for over 15 years. I consistently find her reassuring, understanding, respectful, knowledgeable and responsive. From the beginning I appreciated her confident ease with women's health issues and I continue to find her a standout provider who makes me feel that she is fully present whatever the focus of my appointment and concerns. To me, she delivers the kind of healthcare we all hope for.

I didn't have an easy first pregnancy, but the care I received at NWWHC made me feel more confident and reassured, even when several complications arose. Dr. Lorentz, my OB, consistently went out of her way to make sure I was informed, empowered and well cared for. For nine months, she answered every question I had with knowledge, compassion and patience.

This was no small feat - I had a lot of anxiety and probably hundreds of questions. She responded to me on weekends through the portal, called me to talk through test results, advocated for me when I needed an early induction and so much more. I'm so thankful to have had her as my doctor through this experience. I can honestly say that everyone I met through NWWHC was committed to this same level of care. Dr. Bar-Joseph wound up delivering my baby - she was calm, encouraging, quick to act and helped make sure my delivery experience was a positive one. Thank you all so much for the kindness and the care - our new little family is forever grateful!

Wow! I am so grateful that I discovered Dr. Elena Hannon, an ob/gyn at Northwest Women's Healthcare in Seattle. I had nearly given up on finding a gyn that is highly experienced, skilled, and genuinely caring about her patients. Dr. Hannon is amazing. The office staff and Dr. Hannon's medical assistant are wonderful, too. They are pofessional, kind, and centered on their patients. Dr. Hannon has my trust, respect, and confidence in her abilities.

Dr. Hannon is by far the best doctor I've had. She treated me (and probably all her patients) as if I were her favorite. After a couple miscarriages, she addressed my fears with this pregnancy and walked me through with grace and knowledge. She's incredibly skilled surgeon - my c-section recovery was so easy! I recommend her to every women looking for an exceptional OBGYN. On top of all her medical excellence, she's just an awesome person!

I can't say enough about my experience at this practice. I love everyone I saw- not just my amazing doctor but also the nurses, techs, and other doctors that I saw and who delivered my baby. They all made me feel safe, empowered and informed. I can't imagine having a baby anywhere else!

Cannot recommend this group of doctors enough for women's care. Doctors, nurses and staff were extremely caring, respectful and thoughtful. They were patient and reassuring to all my questions during all phases of preconception, pregnancy and postpartum. They even called to follow up with me after my concerns and we're genuinely interested in my best wellbeing and providing the best care.

The physicians monitored my third trimester very closely and I felt confident that any concerns would be caught early. I felt so cared for. Swedish First Hill was a wonderful place to deliver a baby; the doctors and nurses were amazing!

I haven't had a baby at NWWHC yet but I will when the time comes! I had laparoscopic fibroid removal by Dr Heath Miller who is one of the few docs in town who can do this. I was recommended all sorts of things by other docs and thank goodness i got another opinion.
