My sister was admitted to Olean General Hospital on May 15 with pneumonia. A complicated case as she was on life support and paralyzed from the neck down. The hospital permitted myself and her husband to see her before the usual visiting hours. The doctors and nurses took excellent care of her. When it was time to withdraw her from life support and let her die peacefully the Comfort Care provided by the doctors and nursing staff was exceptional. We met very compassionate and caring staff who helped us through this painful time.

I was put into one of the sections s in the back. Triage nurse told nurse at desk where she was putting me and nurse at desk rolled her eyes and turned back to her computer. I waited over an hour in the section and was not even acknowledged by anyone. I was in there for bleeding, gI pain and my bp is very low. Also extremely dizzy. I was told by telemedicine dr to go. They probably still do not know that I left. As I was leaving there were at least seven nurses at the desk, I m. Sure they don't even know I left.

My mom was in OGH for 18 days with covid and pneumonia. In those 18 days she had blood drawn and had blood on her sheets, and they never changed them. They also didnt encourage her to move her legs or exercise at all. She also wasnt given her normal medicine. I would recommend going to Buffalo or any other places near by

This hospital is one of the most unprofessional hospitals that I've ever been to in my life. I am super sick with food poisoning and the lady told me that I would be waiting for hours until I got seen because all of their beds are full. When I walked into the establishment nobody was at the front door so I knocked on the window and she came out and yelled at me. So to the woman who is old and fat sitting at the front desk you can go step on a Lego

My mother went here for what they thought originally a heart attack but turned out to be pancreatitis, no visitors were allowed and we kept having to call the nurses office to see if her things were brought to her room yet, it took them several hours and constant phone calls every 20 mins to finally give her her bag of things. When she came home she had all of these bruises on her arms and stomach (stomach not shown because it is the lower stomach area) because they can't even properly put an IV in, let alone shots!
She even told me one of her nurses commented "Why would they put the IV there!?" On top of that, when she was released she waited 2 hours for them to give her a wheel chair so she can be brought down to meet with my father to bring her home. She then realized nobody was coming and checked herself out and walked out. WILL NOT BE BRINGING ANY OF MY FAMILY HERE AGAIN.
