Hamilton Orthopedic stinks. Left me hanging with a broken clavicle playing wait and see for over a year. They tell you when to make an appointment you go out to the front desk and get SORRY WE DON'T BOOK THAT FAR AHEAD, CALL BACK. I paid every time I walked in the door. Now I'm out of work and they won't give me an appointment until I pay 175.00. I advised them to please let me pay when I come to my appointment as my oil burner broke down.

They said NO! Over 25 years going there. Disgrace. I was completely humiliated by the office staff. They have known me for years. I always paid my bills. Terrible way to be treated! Now I'm left with a broken clavicle and no office visit. They even threatened to add 30.00 to the Bill through collections. I guess it is time to lawyer up.

I tore a muscle in my leg and scheduled a visit. About two hours before my first appointment I lost my job and therefore also my health insurance. The office was aware of that when I got there. As is standard, they took x-rays of my leg. No radiologist reviewed the x-rays, but the PA who read them convinced me that my femur was going to snap at any minute and that I needed an MRI as I could possibly need a rod down my leg. Turns out he read the x-rays wrong (nutrient foramen) and during my follow up with the actual OS he admitted disappointment with his PA for the way the situation was handled. Unfortunately, the practice manager is now refusing to cover the charges for the unnecessary MRI and was quite rude about it. "We will not be covering the charges, so I guess the ball is in your court" were her exact words. Highly recommend Syracuse Orthopedics (SOS) over Hamilton.

Dr. LaFrance has no bedside manner. Very rude, and he's more worried about his image than the patient. The office staff are extremely rude and nasty as well. Not friendly, not welcoming, they make you not want to be there. Go somewhere else.

The people are very rude and they really don't care if your call because your in more pain or not. They won't take responsibility for their mistakes either and will blame you even though the mistake there was no way for you to the mistake they did with me.

Back in November of 2020 I had a total knee replacement. The staff was very nice and answered all my questions. After going to pt after the extended time. I feel like a normal person now being able to walk. Dr Zahn did an amazing job and im happy I chose to go to Hamilton. Every time I go I never have any issues. After my surgery when I was home. Some of the pain meds made me sick. I called and right away Hamilton orthopedics helped get me get what I needed. I recommend Hamilton orthopedics for knee surgery.

Very disappointed that the doctor charged the insurance company $417.00 for a 10-minute office call, $233.00 for an injection and $50.00 for the medicine. This charge is unacceptable and people should consider going elsewhere for medical attention. It would be a question for someone to ask, how much the doctor would have charged a person with no insurance? I am very disappointed in the greediness of Hamilton Orthopedics. Their office staff is not correspondent, they lack office staff and their phones are always tied up. They don't know what they are talking about. They try and tell you that you have go to the lab of their choice for things and yet write on the lab order patient's choice, Da** right it is! Things went through fine and then they had excuses that the lab they sent usually gets kicked back to them from the lab because they don't do it; and that they were trying to save me time.

They refuse to let you meet with the MD and make you meet with a PA. The only time they let you meet with the doctor is if you need a "surgery". The PA only spend about 10 minutes or so with the patient. It felt like 2 minutes with me when the care person came in and consulted. The nurse I had was good. UPDATE: After I requested to see Dr. Buckley, he is fantastic and easy to get along with as he is willing to work with the patient to satisfy their needs in the snap of a finger.

I would highly recommend Dr. Buckley. UPDATE: With my experience, the doctor, Dr. Buckley, or his assistants, do not care about patients concerns and want to keep giving you medicine that does not work. After numerous times, I had told them it wasn't working and they continuously wanted to proceed to keep giving it to me, all for the money I assume.

They also bill your insurance for something that you didn't even have if you miss an appointment and make false operation reports to say you did the procedure. They make a good first impression, but it goes downhill fast.
