Dr Weitlich was very happy to share everything they were going to do to my hip and what I should expect after the fact. He took time to get pictures and show my husband what was done and was really great considering it was an emergent situation. I would highly recommend him.

I had double knee replacement one in January and the other in February. Dr. Peterson and staff did an outstanding job. In addition, the frequent follow up via phone calls was unexpected but very much appreciated!

Dr. Miller was great in explaining everything that was going on with my daughter's knee and what we needed to do. The office staff and nurses were very nice and helpful with any questions we had. A great office for orthopedic issues.

Dr. Trease preformed surgery on my torn bicep tendon in November. I wore a brace for 10 weeks, then was back to normal activities within 20 weeks. I lift weights daily, so I have no issues with mobility or strength. I am 51 years old and highly recommend using the Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center.

Had pain in lower back and hip, discussion with doctor but not probed and prodded, x-rays taken and showed nothing, prescribed physical therapy. Last week I went to Dr. Gerkin at Mosaic with same issue. Had a thorough 20 minute examination and x-rays. I was notified the next day by Dr. Gerkin I have severe degradative change in my lumbar (arthritis in my lower spine). A swing and a miss by Orthopedic Sports Medicine. Bad experience for me.

I had some complications after surgery, Dr. Trease and staff were right on top of it. They were in constant communication with me as to how I was progressing. I really appreciate thier concern and care. For the first time in many years I am walking without pain in my knees. I had forgotten what a wonderful feeling that is. Thank you Dr. Trease.

I'm a 64 year old Army retiree who's had five medical procedures on my right knee over a period of thirty months. Four surgeries (2 total right knee replacements) total and one total manipulation. I've had over 125 physical therapy (PT) appointments at the hospital and performed PT at home daily for more than 800 days. Imagine how tired I've been dealing with daily pain, 24/7 massive swelling, walking with a limp, etc. and the extensive PT.

I finally after much thought and prayer decided to get a 3rd orthopedic evaluation and opinion. I went to see orthopedic surgeon Dr. Blake Peterson at the Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Office in Saint Joseph. Dr Peterson ordered a bone scan for me and ultimately we found out my initial right total replacement (Conformis) became loose for some reason requiring it to be removed and another total right knee replacement be installed.

That 2d total right knee replacement was on January 6, 2022. I'm approximately 3.5 months after my 2d replacement. And this is the best my knee has felt since May 2019. I have no knee pain now except after a hard session of PT. My range of motion and extension is 120° & 3°. My 24/7 constant knee swelling is much better. I'd say my right knee is at approximately 90% of my pre-injury/pre-surgery condition. Thank you Dr. Blake Peterson. Dr. Peterson you get an A+ from me. Thank you so much!
