Thank you the Dr Gilbert and his amazing staff. They took great care of my college student who navigated a worrisome eye condition on her own. They were super responsive and saw her quickly when she needed to get in. They followed her closely until the condition resolved. I highly recommend this office.

He spoke down and belittled my mother in law. He was lucky I wasn't there to witness him using a paper towel roll to yell into her ear.if you want to know what it's like here watch an episode of the Good Doctor

My husband and I have been with Dr. Gilbert for almost 20 years. Although we have moved to the south of Boston, we continue to remain a patient there. He is the BEST! He is very detail oriented and - in our opinion - extremely knowledgeable! His wonderful staff is also friendly, efficient and vey helpful. You are in very capable hands with Dr. Jason Gilbert!

I recently had eye surgery for cataracts and stigma correction. Dr. Jason Gilbert and staff were so kind and informative that it made these procedures so easy. They care about their patients and their organization makes it a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Dr. Gilbert and his office.

Went to Dr Gilbert because I failed the eye test for my Commercial drivers license. After surgery passed with flying colors. A very positive experience, both the many office visits and the surgery itself.

Dr. Gilbert's new hire, Dr. Patel provides me prescriptions for progressive eyeglass and at her insistence bifocal contacts, rather than the monovision contacts that work for me, that I spent months dealing with Dr. Patel on corrections that were never corrected properly. Within the year, I finally decided to insist on seeing Dr. Gilbert for the precscription corrections which turned out to be much better.

I have Eyemed insurance which paid for my first prescription eyeglasses from Dr. Patel and has to come out of pocket almost $1,000 for the corrected lenses. Two years prior Dr. Gilbert had a different eye doctor in his employment who was wonderful but left his practice, thus having to deal with Dr. Patel who acted like a child when the bifocal contacts did not work for me.

The previous doctor had already diagnosed mild cataracts, which is important to note here. Upon my corrective visit wit Dr. Gilbert he could not bill Eyemed again for the prescription exam because it was in the same year as Dr. Patel's exam. So, he decided to have his office bill my Blue Cross insurance for cataracts, costing me another $95 in copay.

I appealed the copay and the charter to BCBS. The same day Dr. Gilbert's office called to tell me the $95 charge stands because it was my "annual exam", which is a complete lie. Had my vision been corrected properly by Dr. Patel, I would not have needed to see Dr. Gilbert. Dr Gilbert did nothing in relation to my cataracts. This is why our insurance costs are so high. Because of swindling doctors. His office employees are rude and a disgrace. Go to Mass Eye and Ear and not these hack doctors.

I had pretty bad vision before I went to Dr. Gilbert to have cataract surgery. The experience was way better than I expected. My vision now is better than 20/20 And I can't believe the clarity of my vision. Watching my TV now is so clear that now I know what High Deff is. The procedure was painless and pretty fast. If your eye Dr says you need to have cataract surgery I highly recommend Dr. Gilbert to perform your surgery. Thanks Dr. Paul

The Doctor was very good especially before surgery. The tone does changed after surgery, a bit more dry treatment the wait time is unacceptable over an hour every time after my first visit. I did confront the staff and the doctor and there is a big discrepancy on the reason for the wait. In my opinion and the opinion of the staff (like a lot of MDs) Jason is trying to stretch himself to thin and see as most patients as possible in a day and he disregard the patients time(even though he blame his personal). A situation that I personally find very disrespectful.
