Oregon State Sheriffs' Association (OSSA) is partnering with Oregon Optometric Physicians Association (OOPA) to encourage all Oregonians to schedule an in-person comprehensive eye exam. Services
The Advocacy Committee is responsible for development and support of legislation determined by OOPA to be in the public interest and to oppose legislation determined not to be in the public interest. The committee advises the OOPA Board of Directors on legislative issues and makes recommendations for legislative action.
Membership in OOPA, your local society, and the American Optometric Association is an investment in your professional and personal future. As a member of OOPA, you help make the association stronger, which will benefit YOU. OOPA's most valuable resource is its members and the time they contribute to the common good.
OOPA members will receive their membership renewal email in early December for the upcoming year. Membership is a sound investment in your practice, and in yourself. You are a valuable part of the association's success and your investment enables us to represent your professional interests while achieving our mission to promote, protect and advance the professional practice of optometry.
Oregon's Meeting will be a hybrid event! Our host hotel will be the Mt. Hood Oregon Resort, We are anxious to welcome our in-person attendees. For our virtual attendees a zoom link will be provided. For those with scheduling or traveling issues, our educational sessions will be recorded. Access to the recordings will be available to fully paid registrants for viewing 30 days post event and you will still receive credit.
