Dr. Orr delivered my last 2 boys. Dr. Orr is the bomb! I came back after spending several years talking to a male gynecologist about my PCOS and all I got was fluff! Thanks to Dr. Orr for taking the time to listen to all of my concerns and going above and beyond to help me figure things out and answering my millions of questions Everyone is professional and Nurse Karen will definitely get you right!

The service was impeccable at first. Then it became very scary. I was referred to a deceased physician, my prescription was never refilled, and my bill was sent to a collection agency. The collection agency refuses to remove my information from my credit report knowing the bill was paid directly to CWW. DOUBLE JEOPARDY. CWW did nothing to help resolve this.

The person in the medical department is very unprofessional and so is the doctor for referring me to a decesase physician. I was never offered an apology or any further assistance. Not only that the wait time was very long for scheduled appointments. This company need to be audited for their billing. They are overcharging for services and when asked about pricing they become very defensive. Dr. Orr is very unprofessional and I went there to begin with because I wanted a doctor who looks like me, but got "something" totally different.

Not a safe place for darkskin Black women, I'm never returning! I was gaslit, derailed, spoken at, spoken to in an extremely condescending manner, not greeted or welcomed by the physician, deflected and it was incredibly unprofessional. Untruths and Stereotypical assumptions were made about me all throughout the visit which made it impossible for her to do her job. The visit did more harm than absolutely any good and the physician was even bold enough to elude to just that during the visit. Nurse Karen is the best and I will miss her.

Today was my first visit and I am SO glad I switched. Dr. Orr AND her staff were all so wonderful. Their patient care was truly wonderful and I feel like I am in such good, kind and capable hands. Thank you!

This was my first initial visit to see Dr. Orr and I am well pleased. The office is nice and clean. She is an amazing doctor with a wonderful and welcoming approach. She made me feel at home and so comfortable. Kudos to her and her amazing staff! I'm happy!

Dr. Orr has been phenomenal with my care. Many doctors have written me off and referred me out for infertility and she has worked with me, hand in hand, and now I am finally ovulating and my body is responding as a "normal" body should. It's been 5 years of changing doctors and miserable cycles and she has been incredible and literally life changing for me.

Awful experience. Arrived early for my morning appointment, as it was my first visit. Waited 1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment time before I even saw the doctor. The whole time I waited in the exam room no one came in to let me know what was going on. I missed a meeting at work because of the outrageous delay. Dr. Orr asked if I'd like additional lab work done and I told her no.

I received a bill from Quest months later for 2 lab tests that I specifically told Dr. Orr I did not want. Getting in touch with the office to discuss this was a nightmare. I finally was able to get the test information through Quest and after speaking to CWWC (it was like pulling teeth to get a response or even for them to answer the phone) I was finally told they wouldn't pay the bill.

Because I have insurance it was $20 but the principle was here is another office ordering things to bill insurance companies against the wishes of their patients. I can't say enough about how much this place sucks. I would rather pay out of pocket to go to Planned Parenthood downtown than go here again.

I would NOT recommend Dr. Orr to anyone! She has poor bedside manner. I met Dr. Orr in June 2014 and I presented my case for a full abdominal hysterectomy due to my research that robotic hysterectomies are not for bigger sized individuals. Dr. Orr was hell bent on performing a robotic hysterectomy. She did not talk to me at the pre-op appointment due to she had to leave to go deliver a baby.

I understood and told her I'd see her Monday morning. I got to the hospital 10 minutes earlier than scheduled. Dr. Orr showed up at 8:20 - 20 minutes late. She began telling me about an accident outside of her complex & asked if I had any questions. I said no, because I thought that it would be cut and dry. It was not! Dr. Orr told my uncle that I stopped breathing a few times and that they had to stop the surgery. Note, that's how she started the case to ask if she could go in and perform a full abdominal hysterectomy.

He told her that he wanted to speak to my father since she had just told him they were having trouble controlling my breathing. He had to go outside to call because the cell phone reception was not good inside the hospital. By the time he had come back in with an answer, she had me moved to the recovery room. She then came in and told me (as she thought I was still under anesthesia) that I needed to call the office to reschedule and I need to lose weight, as she patted me on my thigh and ran out.

I was livid because I heard all of it. She was EXTREMELY rude and has piss poor bedside manner. I told her surgery scheduler, Karen, that I would be looking for another doctor. Karen called me a few weeks after the near death surgery to tell me that Dr. Orr can do my surgery Nov. 17 and that I need to lose weight first. I told her that Dr. Orr CANNOT operate on my dead dog because she did not just meet me the day of the surgery; therefore, she did NOT just realize I was big.

She knew that day one when she laid eyes on me. I told her that they NEVER have to worry about me coming back. To my surprise, I discovered that the insurance that I was told by Karen was NOT paying anything towards my surgery, in fact did pay the doctor. I found this piece of information out today, October 22, 2014, when I called the insurance company to inquire about why they wouldn't pay. The insurance company stated that they paid something towards the procedure and provided a check number of a clear check.

I have been a patient of Dr. Orr's for over 10 years & she is amazing. She was my Gynecologist as a teenager, delivered my son & will now deliver my daughter. You can ask her anything & knowing that these types of visits can be intimidating she has the best bedside manner anyone could ask for. When she was thinking about not delivering babies anymore, I didn't want to have to get to know another Dr. so THANKFULLY she changed her mind! Yes, sometimes you have to wait a bit to be seen, but #1.that is typical at a Dr.'s office & #2.

She delivers children so you cannot predict when they will make their arrival. Have patience bring something to keep yourself occupied & you will leave a pleasant patient. I'm so thankful she is still around to deliver my baby due any day now.

I have known Dr. Paula Orr for about 15 years and I have been a patient with CWWC for over 12 years. She has delivered all four of my children by C-section and the last was twins. I can honestly say she does wonderful work and I would not trust the birth of my children to anyone but her. I left another large doctor's office in the Charleston area because I was dissatisfied with the service I received.

I am so happy I left because I am a patient of the "BEST" OB/GYN office ever! Dr. Orr is professional but also makes you feel like you are family. Her staff is equally as wonderful, the ladies make you feel like you are special and that they care for you. As I read the bad reviews I have come to the conclusion that they must have this office mixed up with some other office. I have referred both family and friends to CWWC and will continue to do so. I have moved out of the Charleston area and still would not think of using another office.

Dr. Paula Orr delivered two of our four children while we lived in Charleston, SC. (We are a military family so our other children were born in other states or I would have had her deliver them all!) Dr. Orr has an unmatched bedside manner. She takes her time to discuss questions and concerns. She is a skilled physician and surgeon. She had challenging circumstances in both deliveries and knew exactly what to do for a safe and healthy outcome for the baby and me in both situations.

The office staff is friendly and professional. The nurses are knowledgeable and kind. I have insurance, yet pay "out of pocket" to go to this office, out of state, to have my yearly physical. I undoubtedly give Dr. Orr and her staff my highest praise and recommendation!

I have been a patient of Dr. Orr for 16 years and couldn't imagine going anywhere else! She and her staff always have a smile on their face and make me feel like I'm being taken care of by a family member. Each patient gets treated as if they are her only patient so if it means I have to wait an extra few minutes or so to be seen then so be it, because I know that when its my turn I will have the staffs undivided attention just as the person before me. Dr. Orr delivered my 3rd son 16 years ago Nov. 19 and will deliver my 4th son on Nov.3 and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that my son and I are receiving the best possible care!
