Dr. Shock and his team was very good while under his care. Dr. Shock very detailed about what he was going to do before and after surgery. He wasn't rush in and rush out he listened to every concern I had. I would recommend Dr. Shock and his team to all my family and friends.

Great experience! The staff was professional and friendly! I'm dealing with Achilles Tendinitis and wanted a second opinion after my experience with Little Rock Ankle and Foot Clinic. My husband and I were very impressed with Dr. Michael Weber.

Dr Andersson was wonderful showing care and concern for my problem. I didn't feel rushed. She sat and talked with me. Offered an alternative treatment versus surgery. Very knowledgeable and kind. She will put you at ease. Highly recommend her services and clinic.

Dr Newbern is amazing! He did a miracle on my husband's botched (3rd) hip surgery and repaired it correctly! It took him 8 hours but he stayed with it until he got the mess it was in corrected! We are very thankful for his expertise, kindness and attentive care. You will not be disappointed in this Dr.!

Appointment at 1:30, asked at 2:30 why I hadn't been called yet, they said still 3 people ahead of me. When I checked in, 3 others checked in all having appointments at the same time as mine with the same doctor. Hope you get in trouble for too many appointments being billed for the same day. Terrible wait time and unfriendly front desk staff. After waiting over a month for appointment then hours waiting at the appointment.

My experience at OrthoArkansas was fantastic. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has a medical need requiring their medical expertise. Dr. Weber, whom I can't say enough about, is a godsend. I was suffering for two years with a torn meniscus which no other doctor could diagnose. Dr Weber diagnosed it on his first look. I am now pain free. It has only been two weeks since my surgery. It's amazing. Thank you OrthoArkansas

Very friendly staff, very prompt, thorough and amazingly short wait times, their office runs very smoothly. They have always been very attentive and courteous. I wish every doctors office was like this one. They made sure I understood my options and thoroughly explained each to me.

Dr Gordon was very informative and took the time to explain our daughter's situation. Never felt rushed. Left feeling very confident that we have nothing to worry about at this time. Would highly recommend OrthoArkansas.

So thankful OrthoArkansas has its urgent care facility! My parents are visiting and my dad wrenched his knee yesterday. He was able to go to their urgent care, had an exam and X-rays (nothing broken thank goodness!) sent home with anti inflammatories and peace of mind. Pleasant, professional & efficient. Thank you so much!

Prior back patient-1st time with OrthoArkansas. Scheduling and consultation went very smooth. Doctor Seale, nurse Sandy and everyone on the team were very attentive and genuinely interested in my well being. Diagnosis & procedure was clearly explained. Very happy with bedside manner, support and overall experience. Would highly recommend.

The entire process, from evaluation, treatment options, surgery and follow-up was incredible. I was treated as a person and just another patient coming through the system. Dr. Adam Smith was professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and encouraging. The post-surgery care was amazing. I would recommend OrthoArkansas and Dr. Smith without hesitation. And my hip is pain free for the first time in years.

I am so dissatisfied. They set me up for an appointment and 4 hour later I am finally seen. I am a working individual and pay my copay each time. I am here early and have everything they ask me to bring only to be treated like a number. Go somewhere else even if it costs a more. Now I am here and it's already 20 minutes past my time and I am told they are running about an hour behind!?!?!?! SERIOUSLY!

Two weeks after my MRI I was still waiting on my MRI results. No call to notify me of the results or a follow up visit. I took it upon myself to call and find out what's going on. First call basically a waste, "they will have the nurse contact you ASAP". Waited, never happened so I tried again and the young man answering the phone said he was told by the nurse they have the results, set up an appointment.

Why did they not do this earlier? Never should a patient have to wait two weeks for MRI results and NEVER should a patient have to call asking why have I not heard back? No follow up, no call back, unable to reach anyone, that's their issue! "Your only good as your employees" and apparently ORTHO is no good! DO NOT RECOMMEND ORTHO!

Dr. Ikemefuna Onyekwelu, a.k.a. Dr. O, and his nurse Laura are truly in a league of their own when it comes to caring for their patients. My husband had been unknowingly suffering from a herniated disc in his neck for years. After doing physical tests and a MRI, Dr. O did a teleconference with us to explore options. He was thorough in explaining things in terms we understood, and he was very honest with us and gave us his opinions when we asked him what he would do if he were us.

He spent over an hour making sure we understood everything. My husband chose to undergo ACDF surgery, and we were impressed by how easy Laura made the preoperative and postoperative process; she was quick to check on us and answer any of our questions. One week after surgery, my husband was experiencing no pain. He says he is regaining his strength he had been missing. We could not be more pleased with the results and the staff. If we have any more spinal issues, we know who to call! Dr. O is one of the most gifted surgeons in our book!

First time patient. I found the wait time average for a first time patient, Once behind the doors everything moved smoothly. I had no x-rays so they took 3 of my shoulder. Dr. Phillip Smith then examined me and explained the plan of treatment clearly. The cortisone shot was the first step. I got the injection, scheduled the return visit, and was referred to the physical therapy center of my choice. I was out in just over an hour. I was very pleased overall.

I don't have words to describe the impact on my life from the negative and lack of care I recieved from this facility. No one listens to your symptoms. I was sent for epidural injections which was more like herding cows. The staff were unprofessional and disrespectful. (To me and other patients) I was required to come in for a visit after everything In Order for them to file insurance.

From the first phone call to when I walked out of the clinic, it was a disaster. Why fill out your information online when you have to fill it out AGAIN when you get there. TWO HOURS and several x-rays (before the doctor saw me and I told the nurse I didn't need them) I finally got an Rx for orthotics. When I left at 5:30, there were still people waiting in the waiting area. I talked to a couple earlier and they had been there since 2:00. Ridiculous! I really wished I would have read the reviews first!

If I could give this place one star I would. First, I was told to be there at 12:50 and sat in the waiting area over an hour. Second, I thought I was going to get an additional xray (a previous dr recommended a second be done) so when they had me change into a gown despite me having brought my own I really didn't think they were going to have me sit in a waiting room full of people who weren't wearing gowns.

That was a little embarrassing especially when the second nurse told me it wasn't necessary as they weren't going to be doing an additional xray. Then eventually, I see Dr. Shock. One thing is for a doctor to not believe a patient, but to make it VERY obvious, make them feel ridiculed because of their age and occupation (not that he should've had to have mentioned it anyway because BOTH of these were in my records I filled out for them.) then try to basically make the doctors who did listen sound like idiots by basically saying they can't tell the difference between a subtle fracture and a blood vessel. as in a blood vessel showed up in my xray not a fracture. So, I was told to stop using the sling I had been previously told to use, use my arm, and take tylenol. Well, I had been taking tylenol and ibuprofen for days and the sling is one thing that actually helps my arm and elbow not hurt. Needless to say I probably won't go back to Ortho Arkansas and definitely will not be seeing Dr. Shock again.

The absolute worst medical experience of my life. I fell down the stairs at my home. I couldn't get an appointment with a doctor at Ortho Arkansas until next week. So, I decided to go to the after hours clinic which opened at 5:00. I arrived early because the receptionist on the phone told me it was a good idea. I walked in the front door and asked the security officer sitting at a desk where it was.

He told me he didn't know. There were signs for it but no directions or arrows. ( this should have been my first clue) I saw a lady at a cubicle in the room to the left so I walked in and asked her. She told me to go across the hall. When I finally got to the right area, I asked the receptionist if I was in the right place and if there was a long wait.

She told me it wasn't open yet an to sit down. Abrupt behavior, but I followed her directions. After sitting for 30 minutes and watching two people who had come in after me get checked in, I sat until the lady screamed my first name. When I got to the reception desk I noticed my shoe was untied. She asked for my ids ( loudly smacking her gum) so, I put the on the desk and leaned over and tied my shoe.

I guess it offended her that I didn't hand them to her and she got belligerent. She asked loudly again for them. So I picked them up off of the counter and handed them to her. I could tell that I was going to be treated hatefully so I asked for my cards. And she made a hateful sarcastic grunt while returning them and I left. I then went to UAMS Orthopedic after hours clinic.

It was like night and day. From the receptionist to the nurses, x-ray tech at Dr. It was professional, friendly and welcomed me the minute I walked in the door. NEVER GO TO ORTHO ARKANSAS AFTER HOURS CLINIC!

Apparently patient care or patient satisfaction aren't a concern with this provider since they have a new building in town. When I was seen for my ankle injury, I was told it was minor, given a walking boot since I still couldn't walk after 10 days and told to rest. Its been a year now and I still haven't recovered. The only good news is I'm no longer in a boot but now looking at major surgery when it should have been treated a year ago. Now, I can't even get the name of the doctor I saw since I don't remember.

Nor can I get anyone to return my phone call. Not even the administrator. Pretty poor showing for a facility like this. Maybe they should teach their staff members to care about patients, or maybe do their job and return voicemail messages. I'm headed to a different provider in hopes that my injury will be address and treated.

Evidently, it matters a lot which pod your doctor is in. First visit with new doctor in the group, I arrived simultaneously with another patient. He was greeted and paperwork provided. I wasn't acknowledged and stepped back, waiting for the second 'desk person' to help me. She seemed oblivious to my presence so I waited for her co-worker to get through and sat nearest the desk.

A third person arrived and I was bypassed and he was assisted. At that point, I said I would like to start my new patient paperwork. Apparently, we ALL had an 8 o'clock appointment. Although I arrived at the same time as the first patient, I was the 5th to be called back. I waited for an extended period of time before I saw the doctor. Second visit today, was roomed at my appt. time. After 45 minutes with no update from staff and no doctor, I asked that I be called to reschedule and went back to work.

This is NOT a review for every other doctor or staffer in this group / building, just the part that serves Dr. Buck. I am a caregiver for an elderly parent, and we've been going to see Dr. Buck and Dr. "A" for about 3 months now for a post-surgical issue. Both doctors seem to be very knowledgeable, patient and good, HOWEVER, the problem we have is with the scheduling staff and assistants.

Some of these young women have been rude in manner, they are not following through, not returning calls, not scheduling followups, not faxing in prescriptions, not handing us instructions prior to a procedure - essentially - not doing their jobs, OR not happy about their jobs, whichever, and it shows. I don't really understand why they consistently drop the ball or who is to blame, but the ball is being dropped.

I have to PLEAD to get a call back for scheduling the next procedure and then the call doesn't come. I have been told that this is due to "growing too big too fast". If the problem is that they have too many patients, they are going to have one less. I hate to review negatively, but their problems have wasted a great deal of our TIME and neither of us are happy. I'm ready to be done with this place and find care elsewhere.

I understand sometimes people have personal issues that prevent them from doing their jobs, but regardless, there are things like work-sharing and redundancy, timeliness, and just getting people to SMILE that need to be addressed.
