Worst and terrible service I ever got from a Doctor, faced countless issues in every visit. Pls save your co- pay and time. Avoid the disgusting service.

I have been using this practice ( Dr Coleman & Dr Shovlin) for many years. They are thorough and caring. Time is taken to explain to the patients, about what their findings are, and how to best treat whatever issues there are. I have recommended many patients to use their practice.

I never had a problem for over 23 + years, but this visit was not good. Rivendell at 2:15 for 2:30 appointment. Did not get seen by doctor until 4:10. I asked to another doctor because I had to leave. They said you are in the home stretch hold on, which I did. The examination took 15 min. Was a waste of time and I traveled from Trento. I will now look for another eye doctor close to home. I go there because I love doctor Sholvin.

Dr trottini is the best. Had a serious eye issue January 7, 2022 that he explained thoroughly, ordered extensive blood work and was always available. He also helped me greatly December 2020 w another serious eye issue. The man is a treasure.

They seem unable to manage appointments. if I check in at 7:55 am for my 8 am appointment, why do I sit in the waiting room until 8:30? maybe because the tech got there at 8:20 and had to eat her breakfast? 8 am is the second appointment of the day and they are already behind! one time is understandable, but the same thing happened last year. Dr. says it is the front desk and the private equity owners not staffing the office properly. somebody needs to address!

My family has been going to this office for YEARS. I too had been a patient of the office but my insurance changed and I can no longer afford optical insurance. My father went for his annual appointment last week and in conversation mentioned that I don't have optical insurance. The doctor told my father to have me call, schedule an appointment and that he'd do a courtesy appointment for $100-120 depending on what I needed.

Beyond thankful- I called and set up an appointment. Upon arrival one of the front desk women yells at an elderly man " where's your mask?!" He apologized and went out to get it, then him and his wife walk back in and the wife explains he had just had open heart surgery, he's usually very good with the mask, he just forgot. The receptionist replies "well now that you're properly dressed I can help you". (My thoughts, 'wow that was rude') I'm then asked for my insurance and ID.

The woman was on the phone but still helping me, then the woman to the left of her (rude lady that just yelled at the old man) says to me "come over here" ( not ' I can help you over here' 'Shes juggling multiple things, let me help you mam' anything other than a demand to come to her) my response is that I'm already being helped and I just gave her (point to the woman in the middle) my information.

The woman to the left still urges me to come to her. I filled out the new patient paperwork and the woman in the middle called me back over and asked for a $50 co-pay. Umm? I just gave You my MEDICAL insurance card- So I explain to her Co-pays are for insurance, I have medical insurance but that doesn't cover optical. She's persistent that I need to pay $50!

But I'm not using INSURANCE! I explain to her that the doctor had told my father that he'd do a courtesy visit since my family has gone there for many years - blah blah blah. Then I'm told without insurance it's $250. I'm frustrated, she's not understanding me. She then gets the front manager involved. She's adamant that I need to make the payment before I can go in to see the doctor.

Clear glass barriers we can't hear each other, she finally comes out from behind the desk to talk to me. I ask her to please get the doctor, explain to him who I am. She says he's with a patient. I take a seat and she returns to tell me that he told my father that he can't honor that because they just changed companies and can no longer do that. Just changed companies?

From last week?! Really?! Okay maybe - but No, not true he said he would help me. So I call my father to confirm that the doctor did tell him I could come in, and pay a discounted rate. My father confirms. The manager says "I don't have time to argue with you" her words literally that she doesn't have time to "argue"! She's a manager- she's getting paid to not argue/ her role is to manage and resolve issues!

It should have never been an argument, she could have handled the situation professionally and respectfully and said "I'm sorry there seems to be a misunderstanding/ miscommunication/unfortunately". It was a disgusting experience from start to finish. They should all take and or retake sensitivity training and professional communication training. There is nothing worse than being treated with disrespect.

They have the front decorated for Easter and the one woman was wearing bunny ears. Doesn't matter how cute it is inside if the people working have ugly hearts. The doctor should have never made an offer if he didn't know for sure that he could honor it. False advertisement? Maybe he thought once I came in I'd just bite the bullet and pay the full $250? Misleading customers? Point blank he lied which is unprofessional so it's no shock that his staff is unprofessional as well.

11/24/20 Here once again. Same reception. Not greeted. Not welcomed. Scarcely looked at when I entered, not acknowledged, & then the front desk woman went back to whatever she was doing. I stood there for 80 seconds (I set my stopwatch) before she told me to lean forward for my temperature. That was how I was first addressed upon arriving for my follow up appointment.

I'm not told my temperature. I'm not told anything. I just know to go take a seat & someone will eventually call my name for my appointment. No improvement here as far as I'm concerned. Dr. Trottini is excellent. If he were any less stellar, I would not endure the rude unfriendliness of the reception/front desk women and the insanity of the billing department.

The front office staff (EVERY TIME I'M THERE!) is completely flat & unwelcoming. I can understand having an off day, but these women seem to pride themselves on who can be the least caring & inhospitable. It's such an unfortunate pairing of highly talented professionals (the doctors & technician assistants. Susan in particular is awesome!) with poorly mannered admins. Ugh.

As for the crazy billing, forget trying to reach anyone live ever. I've had a $9.05 dispute I've been trying to rectify since May. I've left 17 voicemail messages. A woman named Jessica has returned my calls twice now. She leaves her (555)- phone number so fast. I re-listened to the message over & over but can't return the call because the number isn't accurate. I highly recommend Dr. T and Susan, but then you must withstand the disappointments that accompany the rest of the practice.

I went to outlook eye care for my eye appt not knowing what to expect and found a terrific staff and two wonderful doctors especially doctor Grabowski who did laser on both my eyes to remove scar tissue so i could see again. Well it was like he performed a miracle on my eyes. I will forever be thankful for what he did. The staff there were so kind and professional i appreciate them for that. I have nothing but praise for Outlook eyecare!

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I didn't wait more than 10 mins for the appointment. The doctor is pretty nice. The only negative is that they do not give you your PD (pupil distance), even after buying glasses from them for years at such a high rate. They give you the run around after asking for it, only to be told that it is their policy (or against the law pending on who you ask) not to give it to you. My body, my information. Will not be going back.

I've been going to Outlook for over 3 years and see Dr Trottini. He's amazing and the whole practice is friendly. Susan is my favorite assistant there - so clear when she communicates.

This is by far the worst Dr's office I have ever visited. The other poor reviews on here are 100% correct about the front desk. They make you feel like they are providing free service. They have zero care or concern for patients. I am surprised the Dr's/owners are not aware of this problem. The receptionist I talked to was rude & unequipped to handle day to day operations.

She dismissed me by saying & "I am too busy & have no time to deal with your issue". Yes, it did happen to me at this place. Here is some context: I went there with most of the forms ready but I missed filling out a census form & a signature on another. She showed clear displeasure at the incomplete forms by her demeanor, rolling her eyes & slamming the incomplete forms on the front window.

I exercised patience since I clearly care only about the Dr's services & not just an ill mannered staff. She does not seem to know how a vision plan works & insisted I needed a member ID. The vision plan site clearly states & I called to confirm that no ID or card is necessary for service. She however did not want to go forward with my appointment, did not seek help from other staff.

Despite that I tried to work with her & got her the employee ID she wanted by calling my employer. I waited patiently for any kind of co-operation but after a while it was clear I wasn't going to get any. I didn't see a Dr despite having an appointment. I wish I could file a formal grievance so others wouldn't experience what I did!

My husband and I have been patients of Outlook for at least 12 years. My hubby has Macular Degeneration and Dr. Grabowski has been his doctor. The care he gets is so amazing and the kindness and consideration that Dr Grabowski give him is just awesome. I have also had numerous issues cared for by Dr. Grabowski and some other doctors there. I have recommended Outlook to my friends who are also very pleased.

While the eye exams are questionable, for some unknown reasons I need to come back every 6 months for reexam, the staff seems to be OK. They repeat many of the same tests every time I go in and when I ask why am told they just want to check. Wait times are at least 30 - 45 minutes before even getting to the first of several room shuffles. The Optical department for getting your eyeglasses is questionable on skills and knowledge at best. I would stay well away from these folks. Overall, look around for other sources for your eyecare, you will probably do better.

It was terrible. There was a long wait to get the eye exam even with an appointment. I had contacts exam and ordered two types of contacts from them. The price for the contacts is already higher than the usual market price such as CVS, Walmart for the exact same model and brand. When I picked them up, they only gave me one type. They secretly replaced the other one I ordered with something different without even asking me!

I had cataract surgery at another eye care group in Princeton, with high end ($$$) lenses but my eyes wouldn't focus. They wanted to do laser treatment but fortunately I mentioned it to my primary care MD who told me that the laser treatment would make it impossible to change lenses. Luckily, I went to Outlook Eyecare and Dr. Grabowski was able to replace the lenses with regular ones and it is now two years out and I couldn't be happier that I made the change. This practice is friendly, responsive, handles all the insurance. so glad I found them in time! Turns out my friends have had positive experience too.

My family sees Dr. Ritterbush and we have been for years. While we do not have an issue with Dr. Ritterbush, some of her staff are very rude! They do not know what is going on with billing and they don't bother to look at your chart before they try to collect the $50 co-pay when you have a credit on the account. Not all but just most of them downright rude and incompetent!

Will not be returning they just lost three people. There optical department is not much better and the communication between the front office desk receptionist and the optical department is just terrible! Not a child friendly place either!

Only bad and horrible experiences with this practice! I used to go because the location was convenient, and the eye exams seemed fine, but the office was always a bit snotty. My husband will never go back----not just bad customer service, but questionable eye evaluation and bad advice from doctor. Now, I have taken my son who has had some sort of autistic-like breakdown in, and we were treated terribly.

I had called the day before to warn them that my son has sensory issues and is very ill. One somewhat nice tech was gentle with my son, so we made it through a little bit of the exam, but she kept saying that someone else needs this room, so we need to hurry up. Then the doctor saw my son freak out, and was very rude, negative, and didn't even try to accommodate us!

And we really would like to know if my son's eyesight problems are related to a need for glasses, or if his brain is swelling! Plus, lots of nasty looks from the staff---really? So, after many negative experiences with this unprofessional office, I cannot recommend that anyone go there! Find another eye doctor! These people don't deserve your business!

Staff is insensitive and some what rude at Monroe office. Surprise are they really Medical service provider? They should better learn how to talk to patient. Dr. spent less than 5 minute to both me and my wife combined and hardly explained in detail anything. We would not go again there and made mistake visiting there.

Came highly recommended and I was very impressed. Bright, clean offices with friendly, pleasant, and efficient staff. From the receptionist, to the doctor, to the people working in the optical shop- everyone was respectful and professional; I wouldn't hesitate to return.

I strongly recommend against using Outlook Eyecare. They have withheld medical information from me, lied about reason for doing so, and as a result I do not believe them to be a trustworthy company worthy of my business or yours. I had been a customer of Outlook for four years before relocating to DC, purchasing through them at various times glasses and contact lenses.

I requested my prescription so that I could order glasses online, after having just again used my vision benefit to purchase contact lenses, I was told I had all of the information needed to purchase my glasses online (I asked specifically on this point). This lacked the pupillary distance, needed to purchase glaseses online. however. I called the office to request this information, and I was first told that it was against state law to give me this information (it's not).

I was then told by the office manager that this measurement of my body wasn't part of my medical information and that it was office policy not to provide it. I was subsequently told a number of reasons that it had to be measured each time I bought glasses; since my prescription hadn't changed, none of these applied. They told me that they didn't know where this information was and that it wasn't part of my medical record. Finally, after threatening to file a complaint with the State Board of Optometrists, they called me back and gave me this information.

Before this incident, I had only had positive interactions with Outlook and would have given them 5 stars. However, the layers of lies upon lies have reshaped my entire opinion of the organization. I would strongly recommend that if you want a company that provides you information about your own eyes, and that will deal with you straightforwardly, you look elsewhere for eyecare. Outlook Eyecare should be ashamed of their misleading practices, and they do not deserve your business.
