Throughout life, your feet and ankles must withstand a tremendous amount of stress and pressure. Your feet are a very complex structure, with dozens of bones and joints and more than a hundred muscles, tendons, and ligaments, and your ankle serves as the connection between your feet and the rest of your body.
At Ozark Orthopaedics, we provide the highest quality and effective care for all hand, wrist, and elbow concerns. Each patient is carefully evaluated by our team of hand and wrist surgeons, who develop an appropriate plan to treat the individual's specific needs. Dr. Benafield is fellowship-trained, focused hand and upper extremity surgery with a special interest in arthroscopic shoulder surgery.
At Ozark Orthopaedics, we provide the highest quality and effective care for all joint issues and pain. Each patient is carefully evaluated by our team of specialists, who develop an appropriate plan to treat the individual's specific needs. Dr. Coker joined the clinic in 2004. He specializes in General Orthopaedics, Trauma Surgery, and Total Joint Replacements, and he serves as the Team Physician at Siloam Springs High School.
The knee is a hinge joint supported by ligaments and muscles all working together. The knee allows us to walk, bend and jump so we can perform numerous tasks and enjoy an active lifestyle. Because it is a complex joint, the knee is often injured, requiring medical intervention. Whether bending over to tend a garden or kicking a ball in the park with your grandchildren, you depend on your knees to work properly and painlessly. We're here to help. When routine activities become impossible, surgery is often necessary.

Had an appointment arrived on time only to be told that the Dr had rescheduled and I had not been notified so a telahealth visit was scheduled 1 hour after that call was to have taken place I called in only to be told they were unable to locate the Dr who was to have called. Of all places to have poor customer service it's just unacceptable. The front desk folks are great people not their fault so with that being said I do not recommend because obviously they don't care about their patients

This place jas the worst wait time I have ever seen. Our appointment was scheduled and we still waited 1.5 hrs to been brought back. When we asked how much longer they said they didn't know. I have been to other orthopedic Dr offices and never have I waited so long. If ur driving from far don't plan on being In and out.

Dr. Henley saved my left hand with major wrist surgery for which I will be forever grateful, however, while Dr. Henley was under network insurance coverage, he operates out of a facility that was out of network. It's also worth noting that he has a financial stake in the operating facility. So, I was left with a $3,200 out-of-network bill just for the operating facility (not factoring in his surgical cost and the anesthesia cost).

When you couple that extra charge with an emergency room visit, things get overwhelming. Ozark Ortho needs to be more courteous towards their patients. How hard would it have been to let me know that United Healthcare is not supported at the surgical center? Seems like another way to for them to make an even larger amount of money off of unsuspecting patients like myself who had no choice but to get the surgery done. What was I going to do, let my wrist remain broken or pay the obscene extra fees?

Dr. Henley is awesome! He's honest and straight forward. He explained my options and helped me decide what would be most effective. After surgery he was informative and told me what to expect. If I ever have an issue again, I will return.

I went in yesterday for a broke tendon in my finger that happened on the 5th of February. That is the soonest they could get me in. Dr Henley spent maybe 10 minutes with me to tell me I could keep using the splint I had on my finger(that urgent care gave me) or I could go upstairs to PT and get a finger splint made. I asked what would be best for me-and he said I will send you upstairs.

I went upstairs, got a finger splint made, was shown a few instructions on what to do and was told your done. I got up to leave and asked again how long to wear the splint and was told 6-8 weeks. I asked do I need to make a follow up appointment? The PT asked. Did Dr Henley tell you to come back? I said no. He said. I guess not then. How would that make you feel?

Was seen for a hand injury involving two fingers and about 25% of my hand. The Dr was more interested in the arthritis in my thumb( not one of the injured fingers). 2 months later, I still have swelling and pain. Do not recommend.

For having bone spurs embedded in tendons and a bone that hasn't healed, for Dr. Jason Pleiman to say it's just arthritis and to try with a corticosteroid injection is very disconcerting. Definitely get a second opinion if you ever decide on this office as first choice.

People are nice and kind but lack of communication and slow service. I need to make a call to ask the result instead of they let me know when is available. I called office to make a note, visited website to message, called and left voice message. Did not get any response so I called again and again until I get info I wanted I sent email to Director of Patient Services Michelle Haley. I do not get any response either. At least they are all working same way.

Best decision ever. I had carpal tunnel release and wished I had done it years ago. My husband had both hands done as well and he is also so happy with the results

From front desk staff to Doctors and their staff to the Imaging staff and Billing I find them all to be knowledgeable, efficient, and kind. As I've aged I've dealt with many of the doctors and staff. They all seem to try to go above and beyond. Having an Injury Clinic four days a week is huge when you are dealing with an orthopedic injury. I've been going here for years and am very pleased with the level of care I've received. The rest is up to me by following the doctor's instructions. Thank goodness they are in Fayetteville!

Dr. Henley is an excellent surgeon, and Cindy Townsend is a gifted and supportive therapist. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had all positive experiences from my first visit to my last.

I was there last week for an MRI on my shoulder. From the receptionist at the front desk, to the young lady at the MRI check in desk, to the two technicians, I have never been treated more pleasantly or kindly than by all these people. I appreciated their attitudes and consideration so much and they should be told what a nice job they did. It was so nice to be around all of them in a time where we often find bad attitudes and poor service. These folks were top drawer.

I have never had a worse experience trying to advocate for myself than with Ozark Orthopedic. I came to the injury clinic with a swollen knee I could not bend very well. The Nurse Practitioner took an x-ray and told me I have arthritis. I felt like this didn't make any sense and called the next day to schedule an appointment with Dr. Hanby. I was told he was out of town and it would be several weeks before he could get me in.

I agreed to wait and made an appointment with him. When I showed up for the appointment it was not with Dr. Hanby but with his Physician Assistant. He ordered a MRI of my knee. I got that MRI two weeks ago today. I have called three times asking for the results. I received one voicemail asking me to call while I was at work and have never been able to reach anyone including the nurse, the PA or a doctor since then.

I have, however, received multiple bills for the MRI. In the meantime, I am in pain and my life is on pause waiting to see what needs to happen to get better. I've moved my records and my care elsewhere. I will never go back to Ozark Orthopedic.

Dr. Henley is the most courteous and professional Surgeon I have encountered in a VERY long time. A true artist to his profession. He, and his staff, project an atmosphere of confidence and security before surgery. I thoroughly enjoyed my visits to his office. The staff are absolutely wonderful and thrive to make anything that they do to you.painless. If you ever are in need of carpal tunnel surgery or advise, don't sell yourself short.go to a professional who cares.go to Dr. Henley!

Dr. Henley is a master of his craft. He is a very gifted and caring hand surgeon. His skill and knowledge is unsurpassed. He has impeccable bedside manners. He took the extra time to listen and offered different treatment options and included me in the decision process. He has great patient/people skills. He has restored full function to both of my hands without any limitations, after being limited for several years.

From the first time I entered Ozark Orthopedics, I was welcomed by the entire staff and felt very confident and comfortable with their ability to provide the best care. I really feel I was in the best hands and am glad I made the decision in choosing Dr. Henley and Ozark Orthopedics. Thank you to Dr. Henley and all of the staff of Ozark Orthopedics.
