Services
Santa Monica UCLA Gynecologic Subspecialties Group strives to provide the highest quality medical care delivered with compassion and sensitivity. We are physicians committed to knowing each of our patients and their individual health needs, something so difficult to obtain in today's medical environment.
Our office is open for appointments Monday through Friday, 8:15AM to 12:00PM and 2:00PM to 5:00PM. Some fertility services are available starting at 7:30 AM. The nurse practitioners also have appointments available on Saturdays, 9:00AM to 12:00PM. We always look forward to admitting new patients to our practice.
Dr. Rosenman interviewed on KFI-AM about why long-term birth control methods work better than the pill. I have seen many doctors in the past ten years. Most of them are extremely good at what they do, and I feel that I have been given very good care. But I must say that Dr. Amy Rosenman stands out in this group.
If surgery has been recommended to you, I think a second (or even a third) opinion is an excellent idea. Very few things in medicine are black or white, there are many different approaches, many shades of gray in evaluating and judging what is best. In the present managed care environment, many doctors will not take the time to fully discuss your situation with you.
Dr. Rosenman is a highly skilled gynecologic surgeon. She has spent many years in extensive post-residency training in order to achieve special expertise in advanced techniques to treat urinary incontinence as well as pelvic organ prolapse (cytocele: dropped bladder and rectocele: bulging rectum), advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, abdominal surgery for large fibroids as well as laparoscopic surgery for many fibroids.

Dr. Rosenman is one of the most amazing, caring and intelligent women I know. Anyone who works with her is lucky to to have her experience and knowledge at their disposal. Being her patient is something people should be truly thankful for! She's the BEST!

Dr rosebman saved my sister's life I will forever be indebted to her. She and her staff are incredible. My sister had been feeling horrible for weeks. She was seeing an object/gun physical located in Burbank through her him insurance After weeks of misery. She finally had a pregnancy blood work done. The results were positive but the ultrasound and pelvic exam were negative.

Yet her blood work remained positive and alarming increasing. Luckily I worked. In the medical field as well. I spoke with my employer because the situation was wording. my employer was able to arrange a new patient consult for the next morning. Dr rosebman was able to determine my sister had an ectopic pregnancy. And was moments away from it erupting.

Which would have caused her death as well. Dr rosebman spoke with my sister's original objects gun and tactfully convince him the seriousness of her status. So he was able to secure time for an emergency encore. Thank goodness for my employer and Dr Rosebman.

I highly recommend Dr Amy Rosenman. I had surgery with her a year ago that has changed the quality of my life. She always answers any questions you have in a very timely manner. I received number one treatment during the surgery process and my stay in the hospital! Thank you UCLA Medical Center and Dr Rosenman.

I did not get the opportunity to see Dr. Rosenman because her call center incorrectly scheduled my appointment. After a 45 min drive, 30 min wait in their lobby and a $12 parking fee i was told she could reschedule 2 months from now.

After seeing countless gynecologists and urologists through the years, I feel like Dr. Rosenman's helped identify one issue but couldn't diagnose others. Three weeks prior, I went to urgent care with debilitating pain that rendered me useless. I'm a fit 42 yr old but struggling with recurring bouts of overactive bladder, chronic pain, incontinence and no sign of infection post urine culture. Dr. R figured out in minutes that the crippling pain from 3 weeks ago that lasted for days was an ovarian cyst that burst.

She also placed a tube placed in my urethra, performed a Pap smear, ultrasound etc. She said I definitely have overactive bladder and incontinence. She applauded the diet I'm following since 3 weeks ago - no caffeine, chocolate, citrus, spices, tomatoes, honey and raw onions. She also took swabs from my bladder and she's having them tested.

I could have an infection and there's a possibility my hubby has it and could be passing it back and forth. We both took antibiotics for ureaplasm - present in urine of 80% of sexually active people. Stuck with replenishing my gut. Yeast infection and a $900 bill for tests!

Dr Amy Rosenmann - what can I say SHE IS EXCELLENT! She is knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate with a terrific bedside manner, as well as her staff ( the best) and yes, I have been to her partner years ago. My niece, step daughter and so many of my gal friends have gone to Dr Rosenman for years, decades from fertilization issues into menopause and reconstruction.

All very happy and satisfied. Trust the BEST! I will move from Santa Monica and I will drive to her for future appointments. I wish I could write this glowing review about every doctor I have seen. Dr Rosenman is a treasure.

I see I am not the only one to have serious questions on this woman's integrity and ethics. I was charged THOUSANDS of fraudulent dollars, rushed into invasive surgery I didn't need, then almost killed by allergic reactions to the drugs she gave me-- that it said all over my chart I was allergic to, and which I reminded her of in pre-op.

Then she tried to tell me I didn't have an allergic reaction (I'll spare you the disgusting physical details of what happened to me), but rather- a panic attack. Oh please. She just didn't want a lawsuit. She is an embarrassment to the medical community. She may have been good loooong ago, but she's forgotten whatever impulse made her get into medicine. DON'T put yourself in danger.

Twenty-eight years ago Dr. Rosenman literally saved my life after a botched surgery by an incompetent doctor. For the decade after that, Dr. Rosenman performed further surgeries on me when needed, always with the highest skill, care, competence, and amazing bedside manner. I have continued to be her patient ever since. She is one of the most respected surgeons in her business, for good reason, she's brilliant.

And she sits with you and makes sure you are informed, clear, and know your options. She is gentle, friendly and wonderful. I find her staff to be the same; helpful, friendly, kind and accommodating. You will never find yourself in better hands.

Dr. Rosenman is fantastic! I was recommended to her by a friend at work and my first visit with her was something I had never experienced before. Before examining me she took me into her office and we discussed my concerns, my options, my plans and answered all of my questions. Dr. Rosenman is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and very confident. Her front office staff and her nurse are absolutely amazing and caring. I'm so glad I found her.

She is always behind. None of my appointment were on schedule. Also instead of talking to me and answering my questions she is looking online to find me some info which I can do it myself. I won't record her at all. Also after a easy surgery it appears she has to redo it. Not happy with her and her staff at all.

As other reviewers have stated and without going into my frightening story with this doctor, I would agree that Dr. Amy Rosenman is indeed an unethical person. After my experience with her, I question the woman's sanity.

Dr. Rosenman may have excellent skills as a doctor herself but does not run her practice well or safely with questionable ethics. I find it telling that I had a similar experience to others.

Dr. Rosenman is a truly excellent doctor. She is extremely patient, very caring, highly knowledgeable in her field and ethical in her practice, and a fierce fighter for her patients. She also always makes herself available to her patients by email, which is extremely comforting for those struggling with ongoing conditions. Her nursing staff is also phenomenal. Highest marks.

The best gyno on the face of the planet-calm, thorough, smart-no one beats Dr. Rosenman for her level of care and concern! She knows each patient and deals with them personally and individually. The best!

I have no issue with her medical expertise. She knows her stuff. But watch out for her over billing, performing unnecessary procedures and questionable ethics. After three unpleasant incidents that she refused to address, I terminated the relationship.
