Paynesville Area Health Care System is a district-owned health care organization that serves the central Minnesota communities of Paynesville, Belgrade, Cold Spring, Eden Valley, Richmond, Spicer and Watkins. Located in the pretty lake portion of Stearns County, Paynesville Area Health Care System is comprised of acute, long term, assisted and independent senior housing with services, outpatient services, specialty care clinic and seven medical clinics that surround our hospital in Paynesville.

The Rice Hospice Program will be offering a Bereavement Support Group for any person who has experienced the loss of a loved one. This program will meet weekly for six weeks. Meetings will be held in the Hospice office, located at 645 Lake Avenue in PaynesvilleFor further information, contact Judie Dunlop, Hospice social worker, at 320-243-7768.
The Paynesville Area Hospital is a licensed 25-bed facility, including 19 medical/surgical beds, 3 critical care beds and 3 OB suites and is staffed around the clock. The hospital is attached to the Paynesville Area Medical Clinic, Koronis Manor Nursing Home, and 700 Stearns Place congregate housing, making it a convenient and efficient health care facility.
PAHCS now has four senior housing facilities: Hilltop Care Center in Watkins, and 700 Stearns Place, Koronis Manor and Washburne Court in Paynesville. 700 STEARNS PLACE: Open since 1988, 700 Stearns Place has 30 one-and two-bedroom apartments ranging in size from 520 to 861 square feet, including several wheelchair-accessible units.
