Pediatric Associates Of Nyc Pediatric Associates was founded in 1948. We believe children deserve to be cared for by those with the highest level of training. Your child will always be cared for by a medical doctor, board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. At Pediatric Associates of NYC, continuity of care is an understatement. Every day, one of our doctors is at NYU Langone Hospital, rounding on newborns and children.

If your child is born or admitted to NYU, we will be with you at the bedside, every day. Due to the global pandemic, we cannot accept ANY walk-in visits or in-person requests for forms.
Services
At our Manhattan and Brooklyn offices, we have extended evening hours on weeknights and are open on weekend and holidays for sick and newborn visits. We are proud of providing comprehensive care, if a specialist is needed and your insurance requires a primary care physician's authorization, we are happy to provide referrals to specialists after we have evaluated your child.
Our providers have served as Chief Residents; directors of Intensive Care Units for children; lead physicians at U.S. Embassies around the world; authors of books and articles on subjects from introducing solids and promoting infant sleep to adolescent anxiety and patient-doctor ethics. Many of us have undergone additional training beyond Pediatrics Residency, including an Internal Medicine residency and a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.We even have a former scholar of literature.
Additionally, you can call (212) 725-6300 for our Manhattan office, (718) 857-5500 for our Brooklyn office or (718) 786-5506 for our LIC office during our regular business hours and a representative from our office will help schedule an appointment. Pediatric Associates took care of our child from newborn to early childhood. We switched to a practice closer to home, but after seeing the online campaign started by an anti masker/anti vaxxer we wanted to show some support. Our experiences at Pediatric Associates were overwhelmingly positive. For anyone checking reviews, I suggest you take a look at Katie's other reviews- she seems to have some, um, issues with all the small businesses she visits and a clear Covid denier agenda.

Prior to the pandemic I had nothing but wonderful things to say about this practice. We loved almost all the doctors & felt they took our children's whole self into consideration when treating them. The pandemic changed that. Our children spent 2 years struggling in NYC under strict measures no other developed nation implemented. Like closing schools & masking toddlers.

One doctor completely agreed with us but "wouldn't go against the city". Pediatricians enabled child abuse and this large practice was part of the problem in NYC. They should be ashamed. We have left the same and found a practice that understands the WHOLE child is important and fights for kids. Update: You all have my contact information - feel free to call me to discuss. There is no way to easily give feedback to the doctors, I've tried.

Read the bad reviews before visiting this place. You have to think twice before decide about your children health. I was there with my friend and i really was very impressed from the unprofessional work and the arrogance they treat their newborn patients. It was not about the mask at all. It was about us, waiting with an undressed 4 days newborn baby for the doctor, for more than 30 minutes (and this is recorded from us with video).

The assistant of the doctor let us in and told us undress the baby because the doctor will see you in a couple of minutes. I highly recommended to READ ALL THE BAD REVIEWS FIRST, because they are all telling the truth.

My wife and I highly recommend Pediatric Associates of NYC. Having been new parents our choosing a pediatrician happened by chance. When our first daughter delivered at NYU the tending doctor was from Pediatric Associates of NYC we were moved by his care so I tracked which practice it was. The office really puts your fears at ease. After one week of our girl being discharged she wasn't eating and was crying the practice was open on Easter Sunday for sick visits.

We even tried changing pediatricians at one point because we moved and after our 2nd daughter was born the year after back we came to Pediatric Associates of NYC. Great doctors like Dr. Horwitz, Dr. Leus, Dr. Putter and the list goes on, late night calls and open even on New Years Day for sick visits. Thank you.

I recommend that parents find another provider. Not nice staff. Doctors are either burned out from pandemic or simply do not care about their patients. It's run like a factory. In and out and no empathy

We switched over to Pediatric Associates after a bad experience with another local practice back in December 2019 and we've loved every doctor that we've ever interacted with. All the doctors are exceptional, caring and have fantastic bedside manners. Just stellar group of doctors. A big shout out to Dr. Boehm. My 3.5 year old son just adores her.

She's so knowledgeable, caring, amazing bedside manners, and just has a way with kids. My son has seen most of the doctors at this practice and his favorite doctor is Dr. Boehm. On one of his visits, sweet and amazing Dr. Boehm had told him that he needs to apply a lot of lotion because of his dry skin and every so often my son will tell us that he needs to apply a lot of lotion because Dr. Boehm told him that it will make his skin better. She gives great advise, never rushes you and is a very good listener. We love her.

My 18-year old daughter has been a Pediatric Associates patient. since birth and we couldn't be happier with the care she's received with Dr. Horowitz, Dr. Burstin, and (when she became a teen and requested a female doctor) Dr. Natale. They have always been respectful, kind, candid, and very wise about both physical and emotional issues (everything from needle phobia to healthy diet to bullying to homework).

We have always gotten called back promptly when we've needed help; we've never felt rushed during a visit; and we can't recommend them highly enough! This practice is made up of warm, caring human beings.

I had a very bad experience with this practice. My daughter has croup and needed to go to the ER but this was not diagnosed by the pediatrician who kept telling me that it was going to be ok. I trusted my gut and went to the ER where indeed they confirmed that it was the right call.

My experience with Dr. Stern is always fantastic the only time I had to see another doctor for excptional visit I saw Dr. David Horwitz, he was ok untill asked if I took covid 19 vacine and I replied no, he started to be rude with me, accused me of being irresponsible mother and asked me to step away from my child. I beleive no one should push a mother to take a vaccine without knowing her medical condition specially when there is no enought studies for breastfeeding, pregnant women and people with autoimmune diseases. I went home so dissaponinted and felt insulted.

Our experience with Dr. Stern was wonderful as ever. She was caring, efficient and always ready to help. I took two stars off because the receptionist was very rude. We got an 8 o'clock appointment and got there at 7:50. The moment she saw us, she said in a reproachful tone "You guys are so early!". When I gently reminded her that we were 10 minutes earlier as we didn't want to be late, she yelled at us to step right back to the door and to wait for temperature check.

I understand people are scared about COVID-19, but it could have been said in a nice way. What's more, we all wore masks and there was a partition between her and us. Their door was ajar and it was three meters away from the front desk. There was no way for me to announce our arrival from there before entering. She was icy when I waited for the health form later on.

It took her a long time to get it ready, but there was no update of the vaccination. I had to call back. We have been coming here for 7 years. Doctors and nurses are always nice. It's a pity that you encounter rude front desk staff from time to time.

I am completely dissatisfied with this place. I told them I was upset with what my height would turn out to be. They did nothing for me in regards to that. Told me it was fine went it is barely over average. Don't go for helpful advice. Their advice is terrible.

Great service, quick to have appointment with preferred doctor. Doctor takes time to listen to patients and ask questions. Slightly on the expensive side considering no detailed invoice of each service can be provided when visiting, clients are told to wait for their financial department to send the detailed invoice.

My 3 year old and 5 year old love going to see Dr. king. Everyone at the office makes the visit fun and easy. There's movies, prizes and magic at every visit! They've never been afraid of the dentist because of our experiences there. Highly recommended!

The medical care here has been exceptional. The doctors run very close to schedule, but at the same time, take the time to really listen to you as a patient or parent. Our daughters primary physician Dr. Natale is great with children and talks to parents as partners in the child's care. There is always a doc on call that is responsive to after hours emergencies and the practice assigns doctors daily to handle sick visits so when our daughter has had a medical issue that we thought needed to be addressed quickly, we have always been able to get a same day or next day appointment. It may not be your primary doc, but everyone at this practice we have seen has had great bedside manner with kids and has given effective medical advice/care.
